the vultures ability to spoil meat is also defeated by the fact scorched already spoils things at a faster rate iirc.
I thought that was removed years ago. Or atleast the effect was dramatically reduced to the point that it wasn't really noticable.
@@theukon-dos7271 I'm not sure, i never bothered taming them, but if that was removed its even more useless. (the desmos also has the ability iirc but yeah)
Doesn't it make food spoil time take longer
^ Yeah it's basically just a preserving bin you can't put stuff inside of IIRC. They're better as an easier to tame alternative to Dimorphs for airborne guard dogs.
I remember killing a baby vulture by accident in 2015 BUT I GOT RAW PRIME MEAT From it SPOILED IN LIKE 5 SECS
Basilisks are great for moving massive amounts of material. Decently fast and tanky with the second highest weight stat in the game plus a 75% reduction on stone.
Yeh I used my to transoprt all the mateirals for the Tek Repl. to the Abberation obelisc terminal
And they can knock things out...
@@lostdomi42 I haven't found much that survives their damage to be knocked out
80% reduction to stone correct?
I can’t believe you would put space whale below amargasaurus for essentially the same reasons when the amargasaurus is a creature of pure pain and suffering while trying to tame it
My own thoughts on the rankings as I go through the video.
Lamprey I understand being so low. But it should be ATLEAST above the Vulture. Though it's not the most useful thing ever admitedly, it's ability to grant you temporary immunity to radiation is a huge boon. It gives the player the ability to rush the red zone, which may be preferable to waiting for Roll Rats to dredge up red gems to make a gas mask. Even if it's not to useful in practice, the concept atleast is one of the reasons I love Aberration as a map so much.
Though the Basilisk is definitly the weakest-designed of Aberration's creatures. It does have one MASSIVE utility that can't be overlooked. On Genesis Part 1, the Basilisk's venom spit is able to bypass the Brute Dino's damage resistance. Even on Alpha. It is far and away the best way to kill Alpha brutes because of this.
Enforcers are actually pretty damn nice. Early on, the default level 1 engram you can make in city terminals is actually pretty cheap. And even with just their base stats, they're still very fast, can hold their own in a fight, and have a deceptively high weight for their size and speed. They also deal 4x damage to corrupted creatures and are supposed to have a 60% damage resistance against corrupted creatures. But the latter of which was never properly implented. Hopefully they'll fix that in ASA.
The Ice Titan apparently deals 10x damage to corrupted creatures. So though I've never done it myself, it does completely trivialize legendary OSDs. And miiiight be easier; or atleast faster to tame than breeding an army of Carchardontasauruses to deal with them.
Dinopithecus I like because you can actually tame them super early on. I think when Lost Island first came out, I managed to get my first one with a Maewing? So you can probably get one as soon as you get a trike or similarly sized creature.
The Andrewsarchus DOES need honey. However, Fjordur has hive-rocks in areas the Andrew spawns that can be harvested for honey with ease. It doesn't even spawn bees.
Despite requiring a Tek Replicator to craft, the Shastasaurus saddle isn't actually a Tekgram. And more importantly, you can find the saddle in cave loot crates. Meaning you are able to ride and fully utilize the Shastasaurus before killing the Center's bosses.
No comments on the Desmodus. I just want to know if your game was lagging or you purposefully edited to be choppy like that because it looked like it was dancing.
Chief, I'm going to be honest. I fucking Adore the Rock Drakes. But even I'll admit that they don't deserve the #2 spot. As amazing as they are on Aberration, most other maps just don't have the verticality they need to excell. They just can't get much air time without constant ledges and pillars to jump to and off of. Atleast the Bloodstalker can sling itself of of trees and such to get some momentum going even in flat areas.
Yea but like rock drakes are cool😢
First wyvern are a type of dragon so you are right, you can search the other if you want, and second SHADOWMANE is by far the most, op, broken and usefull creature in ark.
*Looks fearfully at the Astrodelphis waiting outside the boss arenas*
Btw, you can cheese an alpha karkinos fight with a stamina trained Desmodus.
Another Desmodus utility: can be ridden in caves and can be ridden in Asgard, Vanaheim, and Jotunnheim
Ye desmodus is definitely 2 best Flyer and snowowl is 1 wyverns are great but out side scorched they get overshadowed
glowtail being your least favorite glowpet is actually insane
Disagree with pretty much everything on this ranking list tbh but good work regardless, takes lots of effort and time to make these kinds of videos and people shouldn’t get hate for having disagreeing opinions 🤷🏻♂️
We used to use the basilisk for metal bc it was tanky af, decently mobile and could carry a lot. We didnt find it that hard to tame either
They really should allow Noglins to be bred and cloned in vanilla PvE. It’s pretty cute. It’s such a shame that they are almost pointless to tame in PvE due to how good they are in PvP.
I also feel that the Phoenix should be breedable. Aside from some abilities, they are basically Magmasaurs in a manner of speaking.
I can’t wait to be able to use Astrodelphis in ASA. Back in ASE there was a bug where you’d get dismounted from them if there was any sort of lag spike or loading.
I think that the lamprey should be at least top 20 because it makes you immune from radiation so you can wear any armor also it works as a light pet
Yh didn’t even watch the video and I know this guy is a bob
Jug bug, lanturn bug, seeker, bug swarm, fish school, summoner, and more: am I a joke to you
17: Mantis best use for me is cattle to slaughter for polymer (which might put it higher on the list), 14: astrodelphis was awesome until they patched not being able to use the saddle without tekgram which is almost impossibly high lvl. The 3: griffin and 4: managarmr are fun but have too low stamina, plus griffin too squishy and its dive glitches and I awkwardly fly into the floor so while both are fun and managarmr can handle itself in a brawl they are mostly novelties. 30: Fjordhawk is also great for beating rhyniognatha and maybe reaper queens within an inch of their life and "where's the corpse go?" Honestly I mostly force quit when I die though. 15: gacha is essential for hard to get resources and makes a great trash can/recycler, though rhyniognatha makes the resource thing easier since 12: tek strider (essential resource gatherer, light on wood though and I think 7: magmasuar does better with element/wood) takes forever to move. I can't trust 9: maewing for travel since no combat ability (figuratively) and could plop down into trouble easier, essential for breeding though and gives randomish quality eggs. 8: Snow owl is essential healer but otherwise feels mostly novelty, heat vision can be handy I guess if it didn't drain stamina. 32: gasbag is too hard to control for transport, but is adorable. 47: Basilisk does kinda die in it's ranking for bad turning, can't reach mid/back, and raptors will attack it, but has lots of topor if cheap on tranq arrows and is awesome.
The Managmarmr can also freeze your PC if it does too Much Damage with the Ice Breath, happend to me sometimes which is the Reason i stopped Using them
I hope they improve how the Ferox works for ASA since the Pyromane kind of makes the Ferox completely useless since it’s the same thing but way better
It's bc it's pay to win babyyy
Phoenix is high in my opinion, it as a living furnace is definitely useful
It is, but by the time you can even get the resources necessary to tame it, that feature is redundant as you should already have an indy forge. I think it's one of those tames that you get for the sake of it by that point
I dont see why the megachelon is under anything below the jerboa. Sure its a pain in the ass to tame but it generates you the only reliable source of rare mushrooms and flowers passively which are great and a must have for a lot of recipes
true, i have a megachelon in every single one of my plays but i never seriously needed a jerboa
@@pbcudbclool so true I just played scorched on ASE with friends and I did not need a jerboa.
@@Quthology yeah, theyre literally unneeded, nothing that they do has any significance
Part of what made the Jerboa a Joke is the Fact in ASE they only spawned at Level 1, on ASA they are actually quite good Backpacks, since they can spawn at any level based on the server, for now until the Sino comes out
I’m a new player in ASE and the Megachelon seems very interesting to me. Admittedly I’m a bit obsessed with mobile bases at the moment. I’ve had so much fun building capable bases on rafts, Quetzals and while I did tame a Bronto and build a base on his back unfortunately he was just far too slow to be of much use even though I spread his points between weight, stamina and movement. Still I put him out in an open plain on one of my common flight routes so I do get a bit of usage.
The Quetzals are my favourite though despite the slow speed of flying. I either fly just above Giga height and take note of the terrain and dinosaurs below, or I hold the joystick in place with one hand and surf the internet on my phone with my other hand during long flights.
I can’t wait to get good enough to beat the Beta Dragon and unlock the vacuum chamber and tame a Pleiosaur or Mosasaur to make a submarine base. I might go to The Lost Island map to tame a Megachelon (amongst other things such as Magmasaurs and Wyverns) next after I’m gone with the Island.
Crystal Wyverns were easily one of the best additions to the game imo. The difficulty of getting the other wyvern eggs can be a deterrent to some but the Crystal ones being a passive tame makes them great for both PvP and PvE. I always make it my first move to get to lvl 65 and tame one up to traverse maps with and scoop up tameables.
I love the Maewing but what makes it an annoying tame is yeah, you can get it on Lost Island. But unless you own Gen2, you cannot learn its saddle engram which is just stupid
I actually love the vulture, mostly because of how easy it was for me to tame. I don't know if it was just my settings, it probably was, but every vulture I've tamed only needed one raw meat, and I just find the idea of jumping something with a flock of vultures funny for some reason.
does this guy play ark?
No
Probably not
No
Dude literally put the jerboa over the ferox, no.
And bruh, the roll rat is worse then the lampray, the times I've been saved by one is HUGE.
(And the roll rat saddle is fcking EXPENSIVE) 7 years playing ark more like 7 days playing ark, and don't get me started on the vilonasaur
@@Funnygoodtime45he probably meant 7 years owning the game
Enforcers are busted at high levels and are excellent for killing corrupted creatures and doing Orb drops since they get a damage multiplier. They're all-terrain and pretty tanky but can be a pain to heal.
This is gonna sound really bad but... in the best way possible, your opinion is so bad i love watching your tier lists
Basically for pve all you need are gathers. As a pvp person a lot of those you put low are extremely useful to have.
You can happily say that Wyverns are Dragons, because they are. Many people only really think of European Dragons and perhaps Chinese Dragons when hearing the term "Dragon". Wyverns by themselves already fill pretty much any criteria for even a standard European Dragon.
However beyond that, the term dragon is a very loosely defined term. And has been used to describe many creatures long before the idea of uniformity of Dragons with modern fantasy was a thing. Heck I mean Basilisks and their brothers Cockatrice's are Dragons (just read into the Cockatrice for the sake of this comment and according to Wikipedia they are also considered Wyvern, which makes sense, cause they are 2 legged dragons. So yea, if you needed more reasons to love Wyverns: Some of them are giant chicken with dragon wings and scales that can kill anything that looks in their eyes).
Amargasaurus spikes, when put in tree sap taps, will increase sap collection.
Never understood why people are like "It's not a dragon"... but- it is it's a species of dragon- there's different types of dragons it just so happens that it's one of them-
I don't get managarmr and griffin, but i definetely agree with n1!
The best way to travel
manas are great for movement and the ice breath can do more dps than the bite if u use it right
Vultures are also good for keeping your squids from dying to things getting stuck in them
the vulture should be higher in the list! vultures give a ton of spoiled meat (when harvested), you could get thousands
Its still crazy Sad that the Faso is the only Flint Farmer that exists... And dont say "the Anky can" My stupid pickaxe is better for Farming Flint than a Anky 😂
Would love to see a tame that can do that im the future
atleast the faso isnt hard to tame it just takes forever. all u need is a grenade and salt/metal nodes to tame it most efficient
Tek stryder excavation rig gets flint by the tons. Maybe it's the PS version of the game?
How do you only have 11.8k subs?! You should have at least 100k!
The further I watched the more mad o got !😂😂
What i hate about Shastas is that thier saddles in the picture looks very cool and reusables a submarine but when it come out the saddle was bad

How do you rank the light pets below the rock drake and the reaper when you essentially need them to tame both…
since its PVE reapers arent close to necessary and u dont really NEED light pets to get a rock drake. even tho its preferred cuz the nameless will spawn it will keep seekers away.
