2 mistakes were made: normal wyvern can breed so they are wayyyy stronger then zombie, its not even close, 2nd, 3 phoenix can (and most likely) will be active in a heat due to the fact it sometimes takes more then 24h to occur so phoenix cap is 3, most of the time a 4th will spawn as soon as one of the 3 is tamed/killed (official servers)

@@JasesAce hey! yes 100% guaranteed, i once tamed 4 of them in a single heatwave (official servers) in asa, you can track their position with gene scanner (which i do not like.. but it is what it is....) i got all 3 of them trapped on my server in this exact moment and waiting for a heatwave haha
the actual rarest creature in ALL ark is actually in ark mobile, the Noctis is a unicorn variant that has a 1/500 chance to spawn in a dungeon, it's arena is also pretty dangerous since the floor is partialy made out of lava
Whenever I'm on fjordur I always end up finding tropeos right next to my base. First time I went on that map I spawned in and got jumpscared by one standing with its head above me on the beach
1 in 300 chance and in the 2 years of playing almost exclusively on Extinction i have never found one... its a god damn gold mine for trading too wich is unfortunate
@@Magicktaylor12 I definitely could’ve, I also could’ve added huge fish and a few other niche but rare things, for the sake of time i just made a joke in honorable mentions and move on, definitely very rare though and I’ve spent 10s of hours looking for those gachas
@@JasesAce Ele Gachas definitely feel like a "trophy tame" though. I get the niche to the specificity of it being basically a variant of a fairly common tame though, Regaurdless still a great video and I definitely agree to the list.
I may end up making this at some point but the meta has been changing a good bit with all these new creatures that I think I’ll wait to make it until ark ascended adds all the DLC in
If we're counting ARK Survival Evolved, I'd count the DodoRex in and of itself as the rarest tameable creature. Back in the original Turkey Trial and some other events iirc, you could summon a tamed variant by using like ~500 wishbones in a cooking pot. Due to the difficulty of gathering this many wishbones, plus it only being available for like a month at absolute maximum, plus it only being tamed for like ~20 mins (if I remember, it's been years!) I'd think that makes it substantially rarer than either the zombie dodo or zombie wyvern.
That’s actually a very interesting take! If I make a second version of this when all the new creatures get added in the future I will probably include this in some capacity!

I'm not sure, and probably that's the server settings, but on my server for some reason on both Fjordur and Crystal Isles Tropeos spawn like crazy, and i'm pretty sure that's more than 3 on the map
Um...haven't checked on Ascended yet but I am at this moment in Evolved on The Island. The scan mod I use can see all of a creature on the whole map. And there are more than a dozen Liopleurodon out in the ocean right now.
I keep hearing from people that theres so many Lios in the Island underwater, I must be ridiculously unlucky because I rarely see them. Thanks for the info though! I do think scanners account for ones that whirlpool away also, so that could contribute to it (could be wrong of course)

I just ranked per species here (with the exception of the Aberrant Megalania because the basic one just isn't even rare in the slightest) but yeah I agree that the Ovis is definitely more rare on certain maps than others.
0:52 No i got the ice and forest Titan using a lot of element and a mek (common lvl 51) As for desert Titan i admit its hard but a quetzal and a metal box on the platform and its all about time What i m saying is, i have way much more trouble taming like reapers, rhynios , shadowmanes, megachelons (because parakeet bug)
@@Lord_The_Dragon agreed that they’re not super hard to tame, I have a video of hardest tames on the back burner which will include all of the creatures you mentioned, it’s just the summon requirement, not a permanent tame for why it is rare. I just used taming difficulty as a tiebreaker between the titans themselves. Desert titan may be the hardest just because of what you said though, the early access to meks and element is not something I considered super heavily!

I mean not really, I dont mention the criteria every time by name but I definitely have taken into account all of the criteria for every spot on the rankings. The only tough ones to do (while following the criteria) was the Titans and Fenrir so that’s a fair critique
I don't even count that stuff in my rankings at all because I just don't view it as ARK, but yeah if you considered the scanner then it would be less rare. Still probably rarer than the rest of the creatures but a closer gap.
Nah on the island, the lio isn’t that rare. I’ve ran into it SM! (Vid I made literally shows it) but I will say I hope it gets a TLC to make it worth it

@@hurracaynedre Carchar can't be tamed by knocking out, and like Jase said there are various factors such as wild dinos in the area. It shares spawn competition with the Giga and requires you to actually get close to it to tame it and then run away to safety within a small window, whereas you can just fly to knock out the Giga- you can trap both of them but Carchar still can't be tamed while unconscious.
I just think that Fenrir isn’t really “rare” so he fits the spirit of the video much less than the unicorn, that’s where a list like this kind of gets subjective. Do I think getting Fenrir is harder than a Unicorn? Yes. Do I think Fenrir is rarer than a Unicorn? Not really. Hope you enjoyed regardless!

Literally last week i found 4 lioplerodons on the island dude, im not lying. I was looking for a high level pleasasaur and only got lioplerodons

On mobile it would be noctis as its STUPUDLY rare to replace the dungeon boss which are difficult to complete on your own

I’d argue that scorched Ovis are x10 rarer find than island or Ab Ovis

How is the Giga harder to tame than the Carchar?
I said the Carcha is harder and that's why it was one spot higher on the ranking
