I have to admit, I love the sound on this little car.
you stop to love it when you have a long trip on the Autobahn. To keep the Aygo moving, you hedd to have it above 4000rpm all time.

@@hgrezi7249 non-sense you can do everything within 3500 to 3800 rpm. 3500 or so is where it is also at when going 110km/h. And it is far from noisy or annoying.

Finde ich gut, dass bei euch ziemlich viel von günstigeren Autos gezeigt wird ^^ bei anderen RUclipsrn sind immer nur Autos dabei, die sich kein normal Verdiener leisten kann ^^ Abo ist natürlich Instant dabei ;)

The fuel consumption figures are wrong. I work as a pizza delivery boy and we get 44 (UK) / 37 (US) mpg out of these engines. And the average driving style can be described as „drive it like you stole it“
I get over 70mpg (UK) in my Aygo. I hypermile it though
@@micheals1992 you have to take it to the limit to save fuel, otherwise driving in the city uses more fuel, than long trips.

Ever since smart swapped the engines out from the originals the fuel consumption figures look crap.
While raining the top speed is resticted to 130 km/h....

Anthony José I had the Mk 1 and thought it looked better. The new version is a lot comfier though. The old one was like the original Mini as regards seat position and handling.
Der Spritverbrauch kommt nicht hin. Ich fahr das ding im Pizza-Lieferbetrieb und da wird es wirklich nicht geschont. Wir haben durchschnittlich 6,3l/100km. Autobahn kann sein, fahren wir nie...
Heh. How did you end up to those consumption readings? I have the exact same car, and my Excel sheet of fuelings tells the AVG fuel consumption has never gone over 6,5(100km. This is mixed driving of highway (100 km/h) and urban commuting in the city.
I guess I reset the consumption stats before taking the test drive and did not drive as economically as I could've had done. But I don't think the Autobahn consumption to be too high. For hard accelerations and driving at top speed I actually think that consumption is quite decent. Don't you think?

the cheapest car is meant to get you to the showroom, where they upsell you on things, the 8750 ukp cost is then more like 12k, but that is the same for all cars, cheapest model is bare bones, but still a good buy, no aircon either, but less to go wrong
It costs like 70 € new and takes less than 5 minutes to install, the cables are prepared, one just have to plug it in.

._. you must wait until the 4th gear gets into it's limits to use the fifth one
It is the same with a celerio. Topped out mine at 179 on gps in 4th gear. In 5th it is around 165
yes 5th gear is like the old overdrive, meant for economy, not top speeed

@@bartjanflikkema haha, yes this car is very 'tall geared' i guess to maximise fuel over performance, i also drove a fiat 500 , same HP, is quicker but change gear more, less relaxing.
Kein Drehzahlmesser?
Es gibt auch manche mit Drehzahlmesser, bei jedem Auto sollte es einen Drehzahlmesser geben finde ich.
Man sollte keine Praktikanten so einen Test machen lassen. Ich fahre diesen Wagen seit 2 Jahren und bin fast nur in der Stadt und Landstraße unterwegs. Auch bin ich kein Schleicher. Mein Verbrauch über die letzten 5000km. Durchschnitt 5.2Liter auf 100km PUNKT.

It is better on motor ways than city driving. that is where it saves a lot of fuel, but not good at coners, handling is not good.

Ich sag nur extrem schlecht gefilmt 📹 ich hätte viel tachometer und Drehzahlmesser gesehen als nur die verzerrten Kopf Kamera. Oder nen ganz anderen Blickwinkel vom Fahren wäre gut gewesen.

Sorry for that, but there was just no way to quickly mount the second GoPro, without using larger rigs.
