Just bought one of these and I love it.
At least it sounds pretty good, three cylinder engines are nice in small cars.
It's crazy that sports cars like the r8 have rev limiters when standing still but this shoots all.the way up to redline hahaha what a sad world we live in
@@Catchingcars When factory rev limiters are what make this world sad to you, you must be a happy person. All manual cars rev freely btw, including sports cars. Its an auto-transmission thing
@@6942O-n6n oh i never noticed could be a thing actually but i bleieve the manual m3's and nissan z and supra also have a limiter but i am not 100% sure
@@Catchingcars Yeah Im not completely sure either, but no newer manual car that I have ever seen online or driven had a limiter, while most new auto cars have it, but not all. Its weird
Thats not treu a lot of manual cars have a limiter to. Even a golf 7 of 2013 you cant rev over 2000 rpm at idle@@6942O-n6n

Very good car . What really impressed me was the setup of suspension , it is direct to cars from class C .
Nice looking, but not a small car like the original was. And also, if you thought the original one was slow, this has the exact same engine, so by rights, it's slower!
Nice looking Aygo. My wife has a 2009 with the 1.0vvti motor also. It has 68ps with a 5g, she had it up to 171kmh though. It only weighs like 850kg though.

cvt in this one is better. in manual u have 3000k rpm at maximum 5th gear below 100kmh/62 mph.
@Bloodtax i don't like the sound of a high revving engine is doesn't seems comfortable to me. Especially with this tiny 3 cilinder engine
@@Hellaorj but u have to rev high to accelerate either way. if u wont push pedal to the floor, the CVT has much less RPM than manual. What is more pushing gas pedal to the floor when in low RPM in manual cause harm for the engine. And creme de la creme, u dont have to hear constant noise of 3 cylinder above 3000k rpm when around and over 100kmh. CVT when driving a constant 100kmh speed can keep this engine around 2000RPM.

I love your videos!❤ We got one Aygo from 2015 with 68 PS. The new one is even slower. Even my slightly tuned Seicento with 55 PS kicks the Aygo. On a Hill I can go up in 3rd gear, the Aygo needs 2nd gear.
WHY WHY Toyota...You put a Lotus Engine in a Yaris, you made an even crazier Yaris with 4wheel and 260 wtf PS, you build your Supra with Bimmer. And you dont want your Aygo beeing more eco with a small Turbo Engine and bit more fun to drive like an I10 or UP GTi...Määh Daumen runter🥶👎
I have a 2007 Peugeot 107 with the same 68PS engine and it goes uphill in 3rd gear no problem

Its noisy and slow. Not my kinda car. If a small engine than at least one with a turbo.
Turbo is just another point of failure in the engine. Toyota and you, the end customer, don't want this on such a "cheap" and small car. It's only really useful in larger engines as a replacement for an extra cylinder, so that the CO2 limits are kept and power is added.
