I'm a HUGE Matt Berry fan, but Nadja is steadily becoming my favorite character. Her mannerisms and the way she interacts with the camera are hysterical
The whole "creepy paper" thing made me laugh SO hard. Sometimes at work, when I'm putting paper in the printer I quietly say to myself, "Creepy paper" and try not to crack up.
I identify Mark Proksch so much as being an energy vampire that when he speaks to the camera in this video, I get the feeling I'm being drained of energy
It’s his face, too. He literally looks like the personification of boring 😄 Mark Proksch is probably a really interesting guy irl with lots of funny stories, but he definitely looks like a Colin Robinson. (No shade to any actual Colin Robinsons out there.)
You should watch on cinema! Mark proksch is sort of a regular cast member, I think his first appearance is th second Oscar special. Don't let the two hour running time intimidate you, it's completely worth it.
OMG the part where the Baron took a bite of pizza and then projectile vomited himself all over the place, I laughed for like 10 minutes straight 😂🤣 Just seeing him slamming into buildings and flying around was funny enough, but then the way they described it all nonchalantly to the camera guy just killed me LMFAO. I cried.
My favorite scene was the one where Nandor is dueling the werewolf and he throws the ball off the roof and the werewolf jumps after it. I laughed so much it hurt.
I was a fan of the first movie and for some reason I resented them doing a show so I didn't check it out but as soon as I saw the first episode I fell in love! Kicking myself for not starting sooner
No. It's just right. And they need to quit after two seasons. It worked for the "Flight of the Conchords" - left us all wanting MUCH more, but not getting it. Delicious.
Quay Rude I haven’t even started that one yet. (Squee!). Looking forward to it! Besides the weekly WEDITS episodes I just started watching Wellington Paranormal
I binged the whole show in 1 day. I literally didn’t do anything else I was so in love that I couldn’t stop. Now I have to wait for season 4. I got so attached to all the characters and I am just obsessed with this show. I love it. ❤️
I admire your dedication! I’ve been staying up all night watching it, and I end up sleeping in well into the afternoon. Which I suppose is fitting, but certainly makes me miss most of my day.
Every single actor on this show is brilliant. It’s well written, well performed and FX has thrown $$ for excellent special effects. From top to bottom this show is great.
When Matt berry says it’s pure escapism that hits the nail on the head and I can tell you I’ve never needed that more in my life. Shadows is very nearly single handedly getting me through what has been the most challenging part of my fathers cancer diagnosis thus far. He was diagnosed two years ago and things have been pretty easy aside from so many doctors appointments until fairly recently. He’s lived with me for a year and something people don’t often talk about is the black cloud that constantly hangs over a family’s heads when one of them is going thru cancer. It never goes away and when symptoms worsen or things change and treatment has to change or get more intense the stress is immense, add to that the side effects of chemo, and other things that just happen to an aging person‘s body that have sort of started coming down all at once… It is so much for a person to carry in themselves…on their minds and hearts… I genuinely don’t know how I would be getting through this without what we do in the shadows. So my deepest most heartfelt gratitude goes out to everyone involved, because you are saving my sanity and giving me something to truly laugh at at the end of every day 🖤🖤🖤
It took me a couple of episodes to warm up to this show but now it's my favorite. It's so quirky, clever, and different from other shows on TV. I hope that there are many more seasons and also more guest stars from other vampire franchises.
Nadja's look after "Shame it wasn't his face" and her interactions with the "Rat Pack" in AC are highlights. Also in the AC episode is Colin Robinson singing along to his "favorite TV program". ROLL THE DICE! SPIN THAT WHEEL!
Clement and Berry are some of my absolute favorite actor/comedians. Anyone who hasnt seen Toast of London, should watch it asap. Matt Berry plays a similar personality character and its written by him and has music by him. Clement is more well known so i will assume you know he also has music and other work. Both of them are beautiful creatures.
this cast is the best on tv right now. matt berry is legend, natasia is the funniest woman on TV, and novaks character is hilarious. a+++. and its great to see colin from on cinema
Sadly I have never seen the movie, but when this show was on its first season I watched a few episodes after I got off work and was immediately hooked!! I laughed so hard I couldn't breath!! I think the episode about the werewolf was when I knew this show was gold. I thought maybe FX had cancelled my new favorite show when no new season arrived on TV. But thankfully it's back and I missed it so!! Best way to describe this show is take It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia, but add vampires. Easiest way to describe it! I just hope FX never cancels it and it stays fresh and funny! 🤞🤞❤️❤️❤️ Thank you all who work on this show.
I thought at first that this show was too crazy to be true, but now I love it -- absolutely insane and so funny! You never know what is going to pop out of a character's mouth. Nothing else like it. And it takes me away for a short time from the real insanity going on in his country.
I really need to see the movie(which all three actors played different vampires in the episode called "The Trial"). However the series is fantastic and worth viewing, the 1/2 hr goes by so quick.
This show is the perfect marriage of creators (Taika and Jermaine) and Actors. Its kind of like "The Office" on Acid. I have a lot of trouble picking a favorite episode, but "Colin's Promotion" from Season 2 made me laugh harder than nearly anything I have ever seen.
I SOMEHOW didn't learn about the movie until I was addicted to the show! (probably bc I'm from ARKANSAS, USA, but that's ok bc I wouldn't have MY own cool accent like the British Vampires) The best part has been watching Natasia Demetriou! She's just my comic hero, rn! I LOVE her 'Nadja' and I want to devour everything she has ever been in!! The entire cast is brilliant. Brilliant!!!!!!
I had wanted to see this show since it first came out but never got the time to see the episodes. Finally I am seeing them and my husband and I can’t stop watching the episodes. Everyone is hilarious. These guys are pros in comedy. I must admit the Najia character is a favorite of mine.
Hardest i've laughed at just about anything in years. Brilliant, innovative, and it just totally nails the theme. Hope this one stays around for a while!
The casting for this show is sublime. My favourite scene, though, hands down, has to be the one where Collin Robinson is being a troll. That bit was a real gut-buster both times I watched it.
Love, Love, LOVE this show!!!! Just Brilliant Comedy. If you love all things Vampire, this is the show for you. Cross fingers FX goes for a season 3....please!!!!!
The film was great but the series is outstanding...I could watch it over and over again, and having a guy who looks like an ordinary office worker as an energy vamp is a masterstroke.
Love the series and the movie!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!....I'm also in love with Nadia!!!!!!!!!.....That painting of her in the opening credits is Amazing ...I want one!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm a HUGE Matt Berry fan, but Nadja is steadily becoming my favorite character. Her mannerisms and the way she interacts with the camera are hysterical
Yeah she's my favorite character. Love her.
She’s my favorite too. How she interacts with all of them is so funny! Her facial expressions are priceless!
You took the words right out of my mouth!
Laszlo?
She has slowly become my favorite too!
The whole "creepy paper" thing made me laugh SO hard. Sometimes at work, when I'm putting paper in the printer I quietly say to myself, "Creepy paper" and try not to crack up.
IT'S BEEN FOUR DAYS AND I'M STILL LAUGHING AT THAT.
Is it weird that I can imagine that vividly?
multipack
@@retconstudios8889 YES!!
Real life is such a pleasantly strange thing. If I worked with you and heard that I'd say "it's crepe paper."
We drank the blood of some people, but the people were on drugs. And now I'm a WEEEZARRRD.
One of my favorite jokes was the half drunk joke lol
Vee drank dzee zdrug bludd
Kayvan's delivery is otherworldly.
😂 One of my favorite episodes!
Lmao “I drank some drug blad, yes, I drank some drug blad” 🤣
I identify Mark Proksch so much as being an energy vampire that when he speaks to the camera in this video, I get the feeling I'm being drained of energy
It's his tone of voice! He makes stuff sound boring, even though it should be interesting!
It’s his face, too. He literally looks like the personification of boring 😄 Mark Proksch is probably a really interesting guy irl with lots of funny stories, but he definitely looks like a Colin Robinson. (No shade to any actual Colin Robinsons out there.)
Great casting, and the energy vampire is a genius touch.
Yes!! Great episode when he had some competition at the office from the girl from SNL. So funny!!!!
You should watch on cinema! Mark proksch is sort of a regular cast member, I think his first appearance is th second Oscar special. Don't let the two hour running time intimidate you, it's completely worth it.
the episode with the night out with baron is one of the funniest things I have ever seen
I cried.
I've watched that episode three times and still laugh out loud each time.
NUKE CHINA WE ARE VAMPIRES!
Projectile vomiting ball flying in the air uncontrollably for roughly a minute and some change..... totally worth it!
That and the werewolfs had my sides hurting from laughter!!
Laszlo absolutely slays me. His comedic timing is impeccable. BAT!
My favorite scene was the one where Nandor is dueling the werewolf and he throws the ball off the roof and the werewolf jumps after it. I laughed so much it hurt.
Same here. I screamed with laughter when I saw that.
I'm laughing hysterically just thinking about it again.. aww so good!! 😂😂🤣🤣😂😂😂❤️❤️❤️
I was telling someone who had never seen the show about that, and they starting to laugh hysterically just hearing that.
It was a bone.
The best part is his small “did I win?” 😂😂
kayvons accent and voice on the show is amazzzzzzzzing he's hilariousss
His drive thru, 14 bacon roll prank has me in tears it’s so funny
Him and Natasia both do absolutely incredible accents ... Matt Berry of course talks like that normally 😆
Kayvan Novak as Nandor is utterly genius! He really is one of the top satire talents in the business
I had no idea who he was and now I have another brilliant actor to discover.
Discovered him and Riz Ahmed from Four Lions.
I love this show and love when Guillermo randomly cusses in Spanish. It is my favorite thing and always makes crack up laughing
Omg same, I absolutely loose it every time
And now, he speaks in tongue!
Found the show by accident and fell in love instantly. The cast is so naturally funny that even the simplest jokes can make you laugh :)
I was a fan of the first movie and for some reason I resented them doing a show so I didn't check it out but as soon as I saw the first episode I fell in love! Kicking myself for not starting sooner
Same I found it cause it was playing in an airplane and it’s my favorite show and movie fir sure
Best show on tv. Only thing wrong is it’s too short. Need an hour
No. It's just right. And they need to quit after two seasons. It worked for the "Flight of the Conchords" - left us all wanting MUCH more, but not getting it. Delicious.
Quay Rude I disagree obviously
mercuryhaute - I do too ... still frustrated that they stopped FOTC.
Quay Rude I haven’t even started that one yet. (Squee!). Looking forward to it! Besides the weekly WEDITS episodes I just started watching Wellington Paranormal
I agree. I love this series so much. Each episode you have no idea what's up their gothic sleeves
I binged the whole show in 1 day. I literally didn’t do anything else I was so in love that I couldn’t stop. Now I have to wait for season 4. I got so attached to all the characters and I am just obsessed with this show. I love it. ❤️

incredible how im literally in love with all of them
It took me a couple of episodes to warm up to this show but now it's my favorite. It's so quirky, clever, and different from other shows on TV. I hope that there are many more seasons and also more guest stars from other vampire franchises.
Same! At first I was like ehh I don’t know about this but then I just really got into it and now it’s one of the funniest shows to me 😂
Perfectly done series to the comedic styling of the original movie. Really loving the series so far.
Hilarious cast and show, laugh out loud funny, so glad they're renewed for a 2nd season. Thank you FX!
I feel like the energy vampire is never out of character :)
I usually have to rewind because I miss so much from laughing. Thank you so much for this gift, now bring on season 2 already!
Every department nailed it. Would be so privileged to work on a show like this.
Best show in years...no, decades. Absolute comic brilliance. Thank you, thank you creators and all the performers!!!!!!! Well done.
Nadja's look after "Shame it wasn't his face" and her interactions with the "Rat Pack" in AC are highlights. Also in the AC episode is Colin Robinson singing along to his "favorite TV program". ROLL THE DICE! SPIN THAT WHEEL!
I can’t believe I just discovered this show. It’s funny how Guillermo turns out to be the most fascinating character.
I cannot unhear Nandor's real voice 😂

I loath and detest Toast.
This show is awesome I just started watching it today and I'm an addict👍😍they better not cancel this show.
Rebdomine 90 Fx already green lit season 2 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
@@BrendanJimenez oh, that makes me happy 👍🤗thanks for the info, my dude.
I agree. I love the show and glad its' returning for a second season.
Just got renewed for a season 3
@@54NELA good im watching the second season now
I'm so glad that the original cast is so involved. The movie was great, well done.
Seriously clever people doing very funny things... LOVE. THIS. SHOW.
i miss them already, one of my fav show ever
this cast is the best on tv right now. matt berry is legend, natasia is the funniest woman on TV, and novaks character is hilarious. a+++. and its great to see colin from on cinema
Natasha is hilarious but dee from it’s always sunny is so funny. Especially when she does physical comedy.
The Office for vampires. Very underrated series. Just finished binge watching Season 1. Funny as hell.
far better than the office and this is coming from a huge gervais fan
Sadly I have never seen the movie, but when this show was on its first season I watched a few episodes after I got off work and was immediately hooked!! I laughed so hard I couldn't breath!! I think the episode about the werewolf was when I knew this show was gold.

You should buy the film on DVD..I did and well worth it.
Pure brilliance. And "The Trail" was sublime.
Omgosh, the best. Loved all the celebrities making an appearance... And Tom and Brad aren't coming. 😂🤣😂
Shh Guillermo you'll spook the virgins!
I love this show!
I love them all so much. This show makes me giddy. I giggle like a child.
The most underrated comedic show on Television
Nadja is *by far* the favorite of the series. Love her. 🖤
She's absolutely off the rails, such a joy :)
She's what gripped me at first, kept me watching so that I'd become invested in the show.
Absolutely hilarious but also... appealing in the extreme
Gregor-jeff!
Natasia demetriou is soo gorgeous 😍😍
This show is AMAZING
I thought at first that this show was too crazy to be true, but now I love it -- absolutely insane and so funny! You never know what is going to pop out of a character's mouth. Nothing else like it. And it takes me away for a short time from the real insanity going on in his country.

I marathoned this show and now I’m rewatching it. Easily one of my favs
One of the very best shows in the last decade. To me it's just as enjoyable to watch as Breaking Bad, It's always sunny, and Game of Thrones.
Has to be the funniest live action series i’ve every seen, on season 3 now, it just keeps getting better! let’s hope for many more seasons!
fav show right now. absolutely
I've watched the entire season 3 times in the past 4 days. This show is so perfect. Colin is the best character ever.
Season 3! What?!
I loved the episode where he kept trying (and failing) to float the "updog" joke.
Absolutely love this show. All the characters do an amazing job but Nadja is by far my favorite.
Great theme song also!!!!!!....plus the energy vampire is fuckin hilarious!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I SOMEHOW didn't learn about the movie until I was addicted to the show! Nadja’ s voice is perfection!
My favorite show by far. Anyone know other shows that are like this? Matt's right, it is true escapism for me. Thank you for all the laughs.
I love this show so much....season two has concluded....the finale was amazing!
@1:37 "Oh...multipack!!"
1:42 "you're glam Guillermo" Is such an underrated line 😂
Classic comedy that shows raw talent of all actors....you all need to watch this show....and the movie!!!!
Everything about this show is just perfect and hilarious.
This show is a great escape for me right now.
I hope this doesn’t get cancelled. There is something really special here.
I love this show so much😭😭😭😭 taika is a freakin masterpiece in his self😂
Natasia Demetriou (Nadja) also starred in Stath Lets Flats, another great comedy that also starred her brother as the main character, Stath.
I love it! I hope for a lot of seasons!
I had wanted to see this show since it first came out but never got the time to see the episodes. Finally I am seeing them and my husband and I can’t stop watching the episodes. Everyone is hilarious. These guys are pros in comedy. I must admit the Najia character is a favorite of mine.
Guillmo, i wasnt gonna let him eat you! Hahahha i love this show
Great show! And the guest stars are an impressive line up of celebs.
Why do I feel like Natasia and Noel Fielding are perfectly interchangeable?
holy crap, that's what was knocking about in the back of my mind every time I see her. THEY ARE THE SAME PERSON
Hardest i've laughed at just about anything in years. Brilliant, innovative, and it just totally nails the theme. Hope this one stays around for a while!
This is one of the greatest shows ever!!!!
This show is my current Favorite Thing
I would Recommend this show to anyone.
That Guillermo twist at the end though lol Sooo good
The casting for this show is sublime. My favourite scene, though, hands down, has to be the one where Collin Robinson is being a troll. That bit was a real gut-buster both times I watched it.
There is only one perfect show in the world and it’s this one
Having seen the series, the movie, and the short film that inspired it, in that order, I prefer the series. Definitely much more rounded and funnier.
BAT!!
I love this series so much! Can’t wait for the 2nd season!!!
I cant wait until Season 3.
Such a perfect cast
Now I have to rewatch season 1.....AGAIN!! For the third time 😍😍😉
I adore them - it's impossible to pick a favourite.
I literally fell off my kitchen stool at the fingers crossed moment. Why have I not seen that before. Sheer brilliance.
This show is hysterical.
Guillermo was unexpectedly hilarious
The episodes need to be longer than 20 minutes more like 45 minutes this show is my actual life❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
This gave me such warm fuzzies. This show is such a work of art and the cast couldn't be more perfect and I imagine it must be sooo fun to get to make
Love the series and the movie!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!....I'm also in love with Nadia!!!!!!!!!.....That painting of her in the opening credits is Amazing ...I want one!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The chemistry is gold
One of my favorite shows!
I would kill for bloopers of this show.
I absolutely love this show! I hope to see more Jackie Daytona in season three.
One of the best shows on right now! P.s. next year I would like to attend the Superb owl party.
such an mazing show! I''m so happy it keeps getting a new season, and it doesn't get old! awesome characters, actors, stories, ...
Natasia is the best female comedy actor we have right now. Wish her good luck
I love this show! And the movie! But the show has so much potential. I hope it runs for 20 seasons!
I flipping love that the cast from the movie also works on the series
