What We Do in the Shadows follows four vampires who’ve “lived” together for hundreds of years. After an unexpected visit from their dark lord and leader, they're reminded of what they were initially tasked with upon their arrival in Staten Island over a hundred years ago - total and complete domination of the New World. But what exactly is the best way to go about achieving said domination?

One of the best episodes.
To me it's still impressive to see how different Collin is from the actor. Exact same look, doesn't even really change his accent, yet there's something super different and FAR LESS life draining during his interviews.
Mark Proksch the actor who plays Colin Robinson doesn't change anything pitch, tone, delivery it's all the exact same.
@@chrisspathelf2310 you say that, but there's a clear difference between "Collin" and "Mark" on and off camera. While I agree he doesn't shift A TON like the other actors for the show, he still has an incredibly subtle shift.
His Colin reminds me a LOT of this guy who does this podcast called "Sleep With Me" and it's just a guy who talks for like 2 hours straight to help you fall asleep. I wouldn't be surprised if that was an inspiration for him
Serious props to FX. Thx for giving shows like this a chance. Hoping for a season 2!
It will be an absolute travesty if this doesn't get renewed. I think it will though - FX seems to care more about critical reception rather than the amount of viewers. Great shows like Fargo and Legion are still going despite their decreasing ratings.

Well, when the people behind this show directed Marvel movies and are millionaires it's not hard to get a show on tv. I mean Cartoon Network had that extremely annoying and stupid Andy whatever show... Got enough money companies will keep a good or bad show.

I love how this project started as a silly little bs idea Taika and Clemet had in 2005, then transferred to a movie in 2014....and is now a T.V series. I bet none of them thought this would happen, but i'm so glad it did
I so love this series, especially episode 6 with the baron out on a night in town with the gang.

It's great that Germaine and Taika are intimately involved with this production. Their excellent and precise sense of humor shines through. Nailed the casting too.

Wow! Guillermo's hair style is a much more subtle form of the old version of Dracula from "1992's Bram Stoker's Dracula" That is some attention to detail.

I was introduced to this about a week ago by my daughter. She had me watch the film first which I loved but, the series I have absolutely fallen in love with. I've already binge watched the series 3 times and can say I bloody love Laszlo.
Matt Berry is actually the only real vampire that was cast for the role as vampire.

Yeah this show is absolute GOLD! i LOVE Jermain and Taika together. They both have a VERY natural way of writing dialogue.
Best show in recent history. I rewatch old episodes during the week while I wait for the brand new one on Fridays.

I'm scared for season 3 since Jemaine Clement isn't on the writing staff but then again all these people have these characters in their heads now two seasons full so hopefully we don't see much of a change in the laughs department. This show is hilarious
If Taika is still in there I think it won't be too different. Even if there is a change, its not like Taika's style is any worse
This is my biggest worry too. S3E2 had it's funny moments, so we'll see.

@@Beanie-Sandals Same, the episodes have been hit or miss for the most part. There's been some funny moments, but Colin is way off this season, and it's a shame.

I love all characters in the show but my favourite one is definitely Collin Robinson and I love how they focused more on his character in season 3. Energy vampires - hilarious and interesting concept. Can't wait for the season 5

Just started watching this series on recommendation. It's so good. I'm kind of amazed that something this original has been commissioned and now has multiple seasons. Sometimes some good things slip through with all of the mainstream dreck that passes for American TV these days. WWDITS may be an offshoot of the film but it's a very good one and that's largely because it looks as if FX hired some great filmmakers and just let them get on with it without effing it up with stupid notes that make no sense or are geared toward sponsorships or catering to a demographic. This honestly feels like something that would have came from the BBC or ITV.
FX, props to you.

Worried that season will be the first season without Jemaine or Takiti working on the show.....they bring so much from there small I put, and changes really help make the show that much more funnier. I have faith in the actors tho, all are excellent at improve so we shall see. I read that Season 4 is already filmed so I am sure will probably get it early fall...
