I live in a mixed upscale neighborhood in central New Jersey. One day while out doing yard work an Indian lady whose family had moved into the neighborhood about 2 weeks prior came up to me. She said "How much" not knowing what she was talking about I said for what! She responded with the cost of mowing, she assumed I was the grounds keeper/lawn service worker. I told her I was the owner of this property and lived there. She responded with "You live here" as if I could not be the owner of such property. I was taken back by her response but, I let it go for I was living there 17 years before she and her family moved in. This happened 6 years ago and to this day they will not speak when they pass me as they walk around the neighborhood. I really do not care if they do speak or not but, it was okay for her to speak when she thought I was the lawn service worker.

I have noticed that this demographic generally speaking will never do such work outside theirvery own property and speaking to a group of other people across a spectrum of people realised that it is a caste based prejudice that is linked to this type of work. It is really not acceptable .
I'm a person of color. African Americans opened the doors for people of color around the world through Civil Rights Movement. Many African American died over the years to bring about change we see today! The Flower 🌹
@Jayden Johnson That's a lie I couldn't even sell to a 8 year old. We benefited tremendously from it, despite imposed Jim Crow laws, and the modern Jim Crow laws that is unbelievable getting passed today. Did it make the playing field or quality of life equal based on Constitutional governance, hell no, but it did make some things better. Even tho its still a huge indifference or gap to where all men are treated equal on all capacities, which majority will not understand unless you are, or walk closely with someone black in this country, we cannot, and not wise to discount the gains we achieved at large so far.
I truly agree! Not to say that it had never happened before, but this was the first time that I've publicly seen any South Asian discuss the true history of Black Americans. Well done!
Don't be surprised folk. Mahatma ghandi was notoriously racist. The irony is while indians were dealing with oppression from the British empire, they have the audacity to be racist against others. Ghandi himself who was respected in their society as a civil rights advocate, was very vocal about his racist views of blacks. Sad! Another irony is I have seen people from India darker than me, so it is deeper than just color.
@@kharlosdamonpanterra8162 There is no evidence from documentation and history that he evolved from his racist beliefs. The issue is not whether I have evolved but what is the depth of Indian racism. I think the answer is in the other well documented behaviors in the other backward parts of Indian society, such as bride burning, gang sexual assault of women, torture, extrajudicial killings, death due to insufficient dowry where the bride is burned. So you see India has no lack of cruel behavior including racism. Yes all nations have its ills, but the ladies presentation was on racism of Indians.

I've been living in the Dallas area for over 11 years, and the prejudice and bigotry I've received from Indians, East Asians and even Mexicans are some of the worst that I have encountered. It doesn't matter how well dressed and articulate that I am, it's as if they have an already built-in method for how to treat black Americans especially. From the evil looks, inconvenienced attitudes and overall indifference even when in their restaurant's and other places of business. As a black man, pattern recognition is something that I'm very receptible to. While at the very same time, they all seem to kiss the asses of white people. Indians in particular have an ancient relationship with with whyte people that goes back to 3000 BC when the Aryans from the Caucus mountains invaded India and intermixed with the Dravidian inhabitants. So perhaps, it's just in a lot of Indians and other Asians to deify white people and whiteness itself. If I'm not mistaken, the Aryans introduced the Varnas ( Caste) system that most Indians still to this day adhere to.
@Jayden Johnson that's your experience, which is all anecdotal. At least I provided some historical context, you wrote all that and said absolutely nothing really. They are not like us, two different cultures entirely, try again.
A well delivered outline you have delivered. It doesn't help buy I have had to put hands on a few Mexicans and India citizens here in America. I have seen my fellow Bruthas and Sisters explode and pull India citizens working in hotels over the counter and put that beat down on their behinds. Of course the police was called in each case. Overall I believe that White America has caused these racial tensions among immigrants and the Black population. Furthermore, we Black Americans are allowing these immigrants to leave us behind in education and economics/ business creations. We as a people need to scorn hip hop music and get back to the things that matter in life. Negative gang driven Hip Hop has ruined majority of Black America.
Actually interesting fact for indians who u speak with-- let them know that the Dahlit Panthers were inspired and formed by the USA Black Panthers, in fighing the caste system in India. Gandhi was one of the main instigators prohibiting the dahlits from owning land, political positions, and other rights. One of the Dahlit Panthers even named their daughter after one of the Black female Panthers. I tell you, many other cultures who are anti-black have no idea of how MUCH Black ppl have paved the way for where they are today. Look it up and pass it on. Funny how ppl are soooo quick to be anti-black but aint got NO smoke for white supremacy. Smh. Great video again.❤
Yes absolutely correct. Honestly it's been very disappointing researching deeper into Gandhi's history and seeing how hateful he was towards black people when his own people were getting treated like crap. I know he made some changes later in his life but it still doesn't make up for the earlier nonsense, and more people need to know this side of him because it seems like it's largely been left out of History, intentionally.
Truth of the matter is ....the Africans,Asians, and Orientals, and those from the Americas ....have inspired each other over time and milenia but it's not brought to light excuse the pun ...the further back you go !!!
I'm living here in London, UK. I was born and raised here. I've experienced more anti black racism from members of the Indian community more than from the white English & Irish communities. TBH. I blame the culture and the religion within Indian communities. They discourage thier kids & grandkids from mixing with any 'black' Caribbean/Africam kids. I grew up in the 90s, but I see the same anti black racism from the Indian community now in 2023. Plus there's a lot of white worshipping and excessive use of skin whitening creams by members of the Indian community too. Colorism is a major issue too. The Caste System is still a huge factor as well, dark skin is frowned upon. Having light or pale skin is openly celebrated & encouraged.
100% Correct!!!! Largest supplier of our hair products but we will NEVER be employed in their business EVER. Rather have an Eastern European who can’t speak English and has ZERO knowledge on Afro hair or it’s products.
I will add to this as a black person. Anti-blackness is in all communities. Slavery of East Africans happened in India and in Arab countries. In Arab countries they literally just call black people Abeed which means slave there was even a candy called Ras al abd” which means “head of a slave.” and now they have the same candy and call it Sambo (another racist term) with a black person on the package. China and Japan also has slurs for black people. In Japan black people are called Karumbo. The half black people growing up in the 80s and 90s in Japan and East Asia caught hell. The thing is sometime immigrants to the U.S. already didn't care for black people but America makes you even more racist. People feel like they have to hate black Americans in order to fit it.
Ever heard of the The term " Pecking order". It's a Behavior in Chicken Communities where where a social order is established by first identifying whose at the Bottom. This is also done on more micro Levels where some kids feel like they need to Bully a Lesser popular kid to Fit in and Not be picked on Themselves
The problem with all other race is that they are inferior to Africans, so its a kind of mad jealousy. Whether they like it or not we are proud of our colour and ancestry. Like Mrs Elliot (anti racism activist) said they are living a worthless and useless life by hating and discriminating based on the colour of ones skin. What a pilty; I feel for their ignorance.
I learned all of the slang of my white friends called all those other groups of people, and it's freaking hilarious🤣🤣🤣! I just let ignorance be ignorant 🤣🤣🤣! I'm cool with everybody until you show me I shouldn't be!
Black people have to forget about speaking to any other people. We love ourselves and build for our people then others can pratice their racism but not with us around.
I will say that you have to know your value and realize that most other ethnic groups don't see our beauty through eyes of appreciation, but often through eyes of jealousy and contempt. As a younger man (and in some ways now), I was optimistic about the human capacity to over come this race issue. But some of us are so damaged that barring a miracle from God, we would choose hell over recognizing someone from a different ethnic group as a person. Many of us are stuck in the past. And because of that our future will be separation. God help us all ...
Thats never going to happen until God put sword in between us-them, destroy, get rid, and put everyone in their place that blacks are chosen of God. It going to be a war and bloodshed , thats the only way. Good bye America and the rest of the world by 2030.
Amen brother but you also gotta be aware of the snakes among us some done fell in love with they master whips and chains and try to break us within like they did the BPParty
Thank you. As a black man in America it appears sometimes that others do not seriously consider our path here. You both taking the time to call out racism you see in and outside of your community is welcome. I wish more people could be exposed to you both and your mindset. This is what allies are supposed to do....take care.
It’s great to see these ladies from another culture, so aware of the systemic racism that affect black people daily. Thank you for speaking truth to power.😘🙏🏽
Colorism is very strong in the Indian culture, and an obsession with light skin even amongst their own people. so the anti blackness sentiment does not surprise me. but I think it's weird at the same time cause 90% percent of Indians are dark or darker than we are I know they still think we are inferior, but the whole colorism is really ignorant.
They look at blacks as dahlits or untouchables, the lowest cast in America. I was told this by an Indian fellow I worked with. The things he would do to blacks behind their backs was just terrible.
90% being dark might be a broad figure there are a lot of dark people but also a good proportion of people are also quite fair amoung the various shades of brown from really pale one to really dark ones the preference generally goes to the lighter ones that is true.
Thanks for speaking on this! I did a contract in Cupertino Ca and the population is mostly Asia and Indian and the racism I expericend was mind blowing. I had people snare their nose at me and walk off and I was shocked, hurt and disappointed😢
Good to hear you speak on this especially the fact that we opened a lot of doors for other "minorities" that look like us. We still have a long way to go.
I appreciate that you acknowledged the fact that African Americans have paved the way and made sacrifices for other minority groups to enjoy the benefits in America. I have a significant issue with many immigrants of color who come to America and actually think that they are or were playing on the same level playing field that African Americans were playing on. Before you think about any racial stereotypes that come to mind, please take a minute and remember they paved the way with their blood, sweat, and life so that your ethnic group didn't have to.
No you're not on the same Level Playing Field is African-Americans, first of all you don't know the struggle and you never will, if it wasn't for black people here in America it wouldn't be no America, truth be told every culture that comes to America gets that positive energy from black people
I have always been intrigued with Indian culture. In the high school I attended there were a decent number of Indian students and I thought they were really interesting people. I sincerely tried to befriend some of these students as a freshman, but very quickly realized they were not interested in befriending a black guy. I actually became friends with an Indian girl who came to my school in my 10th grade year and we really liked each other. I asked her if we could go to a movie together and she very coldly said “I could never date a black boy.” I always thought Indian women where beautiful, intelligent, and intriguing. But I realized for many of them there were to many social barriers for them to see me as anything but “black”. There was no level of sincerity, intelligence, gentleness, or kindness I could convey to show I was a genuine well meaning man. I must admit that was a painful experience. But I have tried not to hold that against all Indian people. I understand that my existence as an American that happens to be the descendent of slaves has “colored” the entire worlds view of what I am. But still I rise...
I was in same situation. I think the good thing about most black people I met is that underneath it all we don't really feel inferior to any of the oppressors. We may be sick and tired of the oppression, but we ain't really in awe or envy of any other race. Like you said, Still I rise.....

They seem to be a little ignorant of history by saying slavery "started in the 1500's" or with Americans/Europeans. Thats a total lie, slavery was around in every culture of the world for thousands of years. We know the Arabs enslaved Africans for thousands of years, and Africans enslaved each other. Africa still has slavery today, so does India. India also has a caste system that is 4000 years old. Its really only western countries that have human rights and equality protected by law. All the human rights started in the west. Europe forced most of the world to end legal slavery. Africa still has the worst human rights standards in the world. Most of the non-western world abuses human rights today.
@@tubester4567 We're focusing on American history, why does everybody try to use the argument that slavery was all around the world, Arabs enslaved Africans for thousands of years, and Africans enslaved each other. Once again, the slave trade, that started here, is what the two women are talking about. If you were to open your mind and historically pay attention with a non-biased mindset you would know that though Western societies' civil rights, abolition of slavery, and the so-called human rights organizations did nothing for black people in this country, at best, they only support Jewish and recently the LGBT community, it does nothing for us., But, should you choose to join, a black fr@ternity, well; then they would be willing to work with you. You just got to sell your soul. Integrate, become indoctrinated incorporated into a "White is Right" European fr@ternity or s0rority, and then we'll give you a pass, and then you get to have the American dream. The key missing component of this discussion is the role of Christian missionaries and colonialism on the modern Indian mindset. Christian missionaries have and continue to perpetuate colorism and a myth that different castes have different skins tons. That is missing from this discussion. Recently our blog, No White Saviors, has talked about how missionary work promotes colorism and is indirect colonization. That's not to say that the mindset of those practicing Dharmic faiths need to change. We cannot paint such generalizations. The same can be said about the Inca, the Mayans and Native peoples . Their mindset has been twisted via boarding schools and colonization. Again, these are generalizations.
Stop bull shitting man. So it is Christianity's problem. Another thing about Indians, the Hindu majority, on top of their colorism, castism they also hate each other based on North-South or state/region, then spoken language and religion. They hate Christians and Muslims even after coming over to the USA. It is pathetic, Indians are skilled in dividing to zero!

There is this lack of self awareness regarding how our community perpetuates racism while simultaneously enjoying the benefits and rights brought to us by the black civil rights movement. My first experiences with people from Asia was Indians and Vietnamese co-workers of my parents (both were engineers). My parents were military and we're military brats. My parents had Chinese, Indian, Korean, Laotian, and or Vietnamese aunties baby-sitting us for about 3 - 4 years of our life at about ages 7 - 12 years. These ladies took care of and fed us what they ate. They taught us what they knew. The stories I learn are and were culturally important to me as a black man of African descent. I learned more about my family's orientation or origin story as I grew up. I have always know that Asian people are just people who love and hate on par like any other family or group. I have cousins of asian (Jamaican of Chinese & Indian) and latin (Cuban, Italian, and Spaniard) descent but up until we began these types of conversations I only told people that I am black. Why because that is what you see when you look at me. Also, this is the narrative that fits neatly in the origin story of So-called white European American. When we look at black people and asian we share a rich cultural history. However, we've got to stop allowing racial disagreements and hatreds that did not begin us continue to fester or grow beyond this generation. Our history's are more intertwined than our perceived realities. Thou these connections in history maybe ancient as far as times go. The are real and very tangible connections. It's only the modern times that have us believe warped modern-day historical accounts (fiction) about the African and Asian continent and or countries.
I see a brownskinned man when I look at you. Your color is nowhere near black. Why do people assciate you with a color of a crayon or coloring pencil, if you are not that actual color. This is passed down from racist white people and know everyone excepts that! Besides black is not a race neither is white. They are colors.
I almost married a Indian women. Her family wouldn’t approve of marriage so we stop talking and parted ways. We never had any issues and were doing great together.
I try to engage, befriend and hold out the best of intentions for anyone of any culture. In college I was apart of a multi-culture student organization. I had the opportunity to join an all black organization but I thought this would be a great opportunity to learn about and appreciate others people cultures. The organization had a wide variety of cultures, Black , Chinese, Indian, Nigerian, Russian, Palestinian etc. It was a regular UN of countries. For me, on the surface this was what I have always wanted. A group of people from all walks a life coming together, working together and understanding one another. As one of the few Black people in the organization, I slowly started to realize the perception the rest of the world has about Black Americans, even African Americans. I felt and heard, through allies in these different cultures the stereotypes that were said or the perceptions people had of me and my culture. The worst of these stereotypes came from a guy I considered my friend. He is from Pakistan and was having a conversation with a guy from Palestine. When my "friend" was asked about dating Black people he replied "Oh I would never let my sister date a Black guy, all they want to do is F***." I was in the room not even 10 feet away from where he was and I was so thrown back by his comment and the fact of his blatant disregard that I was even there. I have tried to befriend other South Asian and Middle Eastern people but it seems more time than not that they feel they know so much about Black American culture that they do not need to put forth any further effort of learning more or if their perception is accurate. It will always end with them comparing the hardships they faced in the country came from to the hardships I face in the country we both are currently in.
I hear you. Do you find the blatant attempt to disregard the struggles of Blacks and make it an apple and orange conversation centered on their experiences is often so very frustrating? It's akin to explaining to a guy man who shows no outward tendencies of his homosexual orientation about being followed in a grocery as a Black person and having him tell me about being gay. I finally had to say, when they see you, then don't see a gay man. I don't get either the benefit or the luxury as I can't hide my Blackness. It's the first thing people notices about me, followed by my gender.
@@chestchirecateyes it is the most infuriating thing ever to have your experience minimized when all you want to do is speak your truth. I think people don't fully grasp the concept of empathy and feel in order to relate they have to compare one another struggles.
@Jayden Johnson calm down J. I have no interest in dating, attempting to date, nor am I bi-culture curious. I find attraction in the person not their place of origin. When I say engage I mean to talk and learn about people. I did not single out a gender because that is not my aim. Now if you have something hateful to say about a person simply trying to create a culture bridge between two ethnicities then spew your hate away, at least it is addressing the topic.

@Jayden Johnson I pointed out Nigerians but there are many African students from other African countries that do fantastically well, and and acceptance into an Ivy league university is not the measure of academic excellence. in saying that i'm sorry your friend didn't get the place, you didn't state if your friend is East Asian or South Asian, as it appears you can have 2 very different experiences dependent on which hemisphere your origin is
I appreciate hearing young people who knows the true history of this country, and realize that black people paved the way and payed the price for everybody to come to this country. Not to mention we built this country for free before anyone ever migrated here. God bless you 🙏🏾.
I'm a Black man. In college I dated 8 Indian women. 3 were arranged and hit me up after their wedding. I absolutely LOVE Indian women and culture as a whole. However, I would never be able to deal with their institutionalized racism. That crap hurt. It cut deep
It's ingrained in their culture to adhere and have reverence for white people. Their caste system ( Varnas) were literally given to them by Aryans from the Caucus mountains in about 2000BC. It's saud that the system was race based because the Aryans were so pale while the original Indians ( Dravidians) were very dark.
Take the feelings out of it bruh...I'm a black man too and I love indian women but look at it from strictly survival of the fit standpoint. It's all about genetics. If millions of people in a group displays certain characteristics and another group of people decided not to breed with them I don't blame that group. They're just preserving their genetics. It's about breeding success into your legacy. To be honest with you, African-Americans, we are a a miracle people. We were bred down to be nothing but workers, slaves. Bro we were never intended to be what other races are. It was an aggressive unnatural selection program practiced on us. We were systematically traumatized. Now it's getting better now with groups of people within the African-American community namely the black Greek organizations who are more selective of who they pair up with and breed with. But as a whole you have to admit that we as African-Americans have something totally different genetically than what you normally would see maybe in the Indian community even though they do have problems in their community. The real issue is black people's breeding habits. We have to aggressively breed up the gene pool. That means we can't be breeding so often with dysfunctional people. It sounds harsh and cruel but it's necessary.
God bless you Sister's. I am proud of new generations, you see things different. You know what's right or wrong without any education from school or parents. Change the world for better place to live.
THIS... Is so inspiring. To see the youth disregard the old ways of thinking and shed the chains that bind them to ignorance is simply beautiful. I will not see peace on earth in my time, but I got to see these two take their argument right to the Indian dining table. I hope that's where the real dialogue takes place and their families can sort out this cancer that has eaten at the fabric of human decency. Newly subscribed and awaiting your next lessons.
I know this video is 4 years old, but I have enjoyed this topic. You said a lot of this that, frankly, most (White) ppl either don't realize or admit to. History is powerful. However, if it's never taught, that power is never realized.

Should have checked her

Black people check all non-Black people when they spew racism by;
1. Consciously practicing a economic boycott 24/7 365 of all non-Black owned businesses as much as feasibly possible!
2. Sacrificing spending - whether for lunch at work or on other unnecessary products and/or services!
3. Creating and funding our own private independent schools that will teach our children vocational skills such as carpentry, plumbing, roofing, etc. as well as teach subjects such as advanced math, advanced physics, advanced computer science, etc.!
4. Purchasing Dr. Claud Anderson's books - "PowerNomics" and "Black Labor, White Wealth" and reading at least twice!
5. Put the concepts that were gleaned from reading Dr. Claud Anderson's books into practice!
6. Open a checking and/or savings account at a Black-owned bank!
7. Patronize Black-owned businesses and circulate our money within our own communities at least 10 times!
That is so sad, immigrants coming to America and try to be racist. Then they criticize blacks, please, make some sense of that.
Don’t forget anti women and rape culture.
I have noticed that this demographic generally speaking will never do such work outside theirvery own property and speaking to a group of other people across a spectrum of people realised that it is a caste based prejudice that is linked to this type of work. It is really not acceptable .

As a Black American, I appreciate this video and its honesty! Keep up the good work.
But they are not talking about what dark Indian people are going through from all races!

I truly agree! Not to say that it had never happened before, but this was the first time that I've publicly seen any South Asian discuss the true history of Black Americans. Well done!

@@Eternaldayz Lol. Trying to get some Mississippi Masala action.
Problem is that most southern India has deep African roots.
Ghandi evolved. Have you?
@@kharlosdamonpanterra8162 There is no evidence from documentation and history that he evolved from his racist beliefs. The issue is not whether I have evolved but what is the depth of Indian racism. I think the answer is in the other well documented behaviors in the other backward parts of Indian society, such as bride burning, gang sexual assault of women, torture, extrajudicial killings, death due to insufficient dowry where the bride is burned. So you see India has no lack of cruel behavior including racism. Yes all nations have its ills, but the ladies presentation was on racism of Indians.
@@CharlesCCurry I studied Ghandi's entire life, and I stand by what I said. I don't argue that your knowledge of Indian culture has some depth to it.

I've noticed that the closer the proximity to "whyteness", the worse their treatments are towards Blacks.
@Jayden Johnson that's your experience, which is all anecdotal. At least I provided some historical context, you wrote all that and said absolutely nothing really. They are not like us, two different cultures entirely, try again.
They do kiss the asses of white people.
Dead serious it's like they're trying to outdo white people in racism Olympics.
And they always call on black people to help them and their causes 🙄 😒
The dalit panthers did nothing at all. It was a failed experiment nothing more or less
Ghandi was a racist leader, he had no regard for black people.

No one hates black people more than black people. Self love self respect goes far.
You suck at civilization. You're the only people who haven't made one.

That was powerful and so sad at the same time. Thank you for sharing. Thank you for not holding a bias against all Indians.

I am a black American male. And about these two beautiful women I say this ! They are two truly intelligent and well informed young ladies with wise and gentle hearts. And a genuine desire to help make America into what it aspires to be in spirit.

DMV ✊🏾shoutout to you champ
Thank you for making this video. It’s a huge problem within our culture and it honestly doesn’t get called out enough. There is this lack of self awareness regarding how our community perpetuates racism while simultaneously enjoying the benefits and rights brought to us by the black civil rights movement. It’s gross to say the least and has gone unquestioned for way too long. As you said, we need to advocate for more than just ourselves- if we want the world to suck a little less.
I’m so glad you guys made this a lot other culture over look what civil rights does to help others cultures. Thanks for letting others know
All people of color has benefited from the African Americans Civil right movement which many had suffered marching with Dr King so let's love and appreciate our differences
I appreciate this conversation so much and also gaining more insight into the discrimination the Indian community also experiences in America. Thank you for using your platform to deliver such a compassionate message and education.
man I appreciate you ladies for speaking this truth as I have never heard ANYONE really speak on the fact that African Americans have been the one's who have paved the way for allot of other ethnicities who came afterwards.. Thank you, because people take that for granted and/or completely over look the overall sacrafice.
And your right they do take it for granted
and they need to know this it could be them who're dealing with this craziness in america. Because if we were not in this country and they were they could be experiencing this very same thing. Let us not for get the Native Americans who went through the same thing and modern times don't mean nothing as we can see. I don't
understand why people still want to live in this country the rest of the world must be really really bad.
@@johnclement8913 i feel you for the most part however, i have mixed feelings when it comes to the native americans. The native americans were treated horribly and still are in many ways howeverm to the best of my knowledge (and I could be wrong) they have never lead the charge with regards to civil rights or things of that nature. Yes, they were played roles in already established movements but did not lead.. and let us not forget, they were here before africans yet did not fight for africans and even decent portions of them owned slaves themselves and to a certain degree were deemed "higher up on the toteem pole" (pun intended) by the "white man". I believe there were certain tribes in the south such as the Seminole in florida that disagreed with the practice of slavery and to my understanding, did not.. but that is whole nother story!
Thank you very much lovely sisters for your great work!!! Keep up the good work, love your content!!!😀😀😀😀
WOW 🎉THANK YOU FOR THE LOVE AND RESPECT! Taking the time to learn means a lot goes a long way! I truly appreciate this video. I have know idea how this video was in my feed but I’m definitely subscribing and sharing!
As a Black Man in America this is reassuring to hear!
This is a great video. Thanks alot for producing this.
It's a beautiful thing seeing these East Indians, know and are interested in Black History. A Black Man would marry that.
You both are totally beautiful , continue your mission and educate with compassion , understanding, and true love .....blessings and peace
Black men finds Indian woman attractive? Just asking.
@@Nina-vr1pz Every ethnic group has beauty, as a hispanic guy I find many Indian women are breathtaking. Specially these two beautiful articulated intelligent women.
Thank for this! It's great you broke this down so everyone understands. Keep it up❤
Thank you both you Indian queen's 💯👏🏾👏🏾👌🏾 nothing but the truth same thing here in the UK
The complete understanding, caring and complete objectivity warms my heart...
I just wanna give these two a hug 😄
Hmm 🤔
Sometimes in these conversations, we forget to mention the native Americans that are the forgotten people, who are still banished to resevations.
@ofc.s.t.smith-jones 9772: your perspective is great but the reality is very different.
@@MrLeon4fun your reality is different.
@@kingbwumi you're wasting your time, the dick police have found this video, and they can't tolerate black men who have their own thoughts and don't want to stay in the matriarchal matrix smh.
You should have checked his bigoted ass, shame on you if you didnt
This is awesome 👏🏾 You are proving that education about history is key
I wish there were more Indians like you guys you’re beautiful 😀
There are so many Indians like this. I'm an Indian woman and I support this video.
@@Nina-vr1pz , you are an idi0t that is why. Looks like Indian heritage doesn't matters to you?? And don't support such marriages. Indians should marry among their c0mmunity only.

I really appreciate you ladies for keeping it real, I from the south and believe me I’ve seen it and it’s sad when our kids have to. I from a mixed race family and you guys know why… but I truly believe you’re speaking from the heart…
Great informative video! Great job!👍🏿
Thank you. This was a great post. Please do more.
Thank you, ladies, for such an amazing truthful discussion! It is a total misnomer for people to think that Black people are ignorant and lazy. If this was the case, why would Black people be continuously sought out to do the labor that their oppressors could not do. When people are given a head start in life (White) why complain about another people not being able to catch up. I have personally worked a job where an White guy was a warehouse manager making more money than me, and he couldn't read. I had to assist him to cash his check by witnessing his "X" with my signature. Again, Great discussion ladies! 😊
You ladies are beautiful inside and out thank you for speaking up and out against racism against black people…..as a black Man who lives in Texas I have had male Indian friends since middle school but never dated an Indian girl in my life…everyone can see how elegant, beautiful and intelligent Indian women are and now I know why they shy away from black men…their are good and bad people in every race…I choose to be good so I hope Indians will learn to open their hearts and see people for who they are and not the labels society sticks on them.
It is because of Indian men. Indian girls will shunned for dating a bm.
Thanks for spreading awareness!
Wow--- what surprising lesson about ignorance toward black people we didn't already know. Bless your soul. You two humans are amazing. 🙄
I love parts of Indian culture, especially the food. I do find the people are hard to communicate with. Most of them come across as “stuck up” to me.
Indians have some of THE BEST food! 🔥🔥🔥
Dam, Its sooooo Refreshing someone from another Culture Telling Our Story and Triumphs, and Heart Aches, and Struggles, to get this across to the Dominant Society....Thanks...
Read Dr Joy Degruy “ Post Traumatic Slave Syndrome “ . Thanks. Eye opening.
As a black man with a beautiful Indian wife. I appreciate both of you lovely women saying these fine words about the stigmas regarding black and Indian relations. What I noticed is that unfortunately talk is cheap. The more relationships that happen the more people will have to appreciate them. Therefore you both need to find two respectable black men and make some beautiful Blindian babies. The rest will follow when love resides.
Oh God!!!! How much longer? Must we endure this hate from the world ?
For life
As long as self hatred exist.
Thank you so very much for discussing this topic. I can’t express to you how much this needs to be discussed across all communities. 🌹🌹🌹
Loving you guys, great to see dialogue between the groups, however some things overlooked, I.E Black people are NOT a Monolith you will find African Immigrants Especially Nigerians will Match or Outperform South Asians On Tests and Examinations! It just so happens they keep their excellence quiet! but really enjoyed the video, it would be great if you could reach out to your UK South Asian Counterparts to do a contrast of Black USA Anti Blackness and see if the same is within UK Black Asian Relationships
@Jayden Johnson I pointed out Nigerians but there are many African students from other African countries that do fantastically well, and and acceptance into an Ivy league university is not the measure of academic excellence. in saying that i'm sorry your friend didn't get the place, you didn't state if your friend is East Asian or South Asian, as it appears you can have 2 very different experiences dependent on which hemisphere your origin is
@Jayden Johnson get that anecdotal trash out of here troll.
I appreciate hearing young people who knows the true history of this country, and realize that black people paved the way and payed the price for everybody to come to this country. Not to mention we built this country for free before anyone ever migrated here. God bless you 🙏🏾.

You Guys Did a Great Job Laying This out.
I'm a Black man. In college I dated 8 Indian women. 3 were arranged and hit me up after their wedding. I absolutely LOVE Indian women and culture as a whole. However, I would never be able to deal with their institutionalized racism. That crap hurt. It cut deep
Did you attend college in America?
You have low self esteem if you ever feel bad because people feel better than you. You should respond to them like they respond to you.
@@jabaltariq4606 Low self esteem? Says the guy judging RUclips comments, ha. You got it man
It's ingrained in their culture to adhere and have reverence for white people.
On behalf of most black men in the states, we thank you for your understanding and the courage to show it in the face of ameriKKKan oppression!!
Great communication from you both. This type of communication helps lift society, thank you for that!
Didn't the British subjugate and enslave Indians, and sent them to the Caribbean Islands, South America- Guyana??
Yes
Gratitude 🙏🏾 for speaking up and building ✊🏿
I know this video is 4 years old, but I have enjoyed this topic. You said a lot of this that, frankly, most (White) ppl either don't realize or admit to. History is powerful. However, if it's never taught, that power is never realized.
Wait you have anti black cast system in your home country. So you didn’t learn from the USA you came here with it. All the lower jobs are done by the black Indians. In India 🇮🇳
😮 I like 👍🏽 how eloquently you explained it. I agree.
