Thank you for Posting this. Deni's was my favorite of the Greek nightclubs that flourished in the second half of the 20th cen. It had music going until 4:00 am and I spent many many nights there. So many dollar bills were thrown on the dance floor that you had to take care not to slip and fall. It breaks my heart that so much ethnic soul has withered away from America's cities and now every city seems to be like the next.
Wow…took me back to a great place in my life. Deni’s Den was a great place! I am the bouzouki player that’s in this episode. Great to see this again…thank you!
Thanks for posting this. I grew up as a child and teen there regularly because my father Tasos Sherris played there as a musician. He has since passed but this was our favorite spot. I would run around the kitchen and drink kiddy cocktails.
I remember walking by here as a child and later as a young adult. It was unfortunate that it closed, then Buca di Beppo also closed, the building has since been demolished. ☹
