- Here is Part One of an "Islands" themed episode of Wild Chicago on WTTW Channel 11. Featuring Ben Hollis as host. I believe this was a compilation of segments from earlier shows all with an islands-related theme. Includes:
End of a WTTW Station ID at the beginning
Treasure Island Foods grocery store at 3460 North Broadway.
Blue Island Trailer Park

Land Ho! OMG, my girlfriend (now wife) lived two blocks from that Treasure Island and shopped there often. Sadly, it's gone the way of the Dodo.
"The greatest treasure? Absolut Vodka!" Btw...all these "islands" rule. I love the old guy Steve, in a cubs hat on the south side-"I don't know if I wanna live on a island, I can't swim."
tHE NEW SHOW CAME AND WENT IN THE SAME YEAR. i WATCHED ALL 6 OR SO EPISODES THEY PUT OUT AND THEN IT DISAPPEARED AGAIN.
Theme song always reminded me of Cheyenne's theme from Once Upon a Time in the West.
