Graphics: Ellen Philips & Steve Larson
Original Music and Theme Composed and Performed by: Roger Adler

    Ending voiceover by Marty Robinson.
(also has a quick flash of the Illinois Lottery logo at the end with partial voiceover by Joan Kohn - I guess they were showing the drawings at this time?)
"You will experience hard times tonight and love every minute of it...be prepared."
This aired on local Chicago TV on Sunday, April 21st 1991.
The Museum of Classic Chicago Television's primary mission is the preservation and display of off-air, early home videotape recordings (70s and early 80s, primarily) recorded off of any and all Chicago TV channels; footage which would likely be lost if not sought out and preserved digitally. Even though (mostly) short clips are displayed here, we preserve the entire broadcasts in our archives - the complete programs with breaks (or however much is present on the tape), for historical purposes. For information on how to help in our mission, to donate or lend tapes to be converted to DVD, and to view more of the 3,800+ (and counting) video clips available for viewing in our online archive, please visit us at:

I met and saw Jim Skafish perform a few times in the late '80's when my late friend Tiny's Hammond Ind. apartment was the Skafish museum. I remember a crazy night at the Quarterback Club in East Chicago when Skafish autographed my copies of his 2 IRS albums. I helped Jim load his gear into his car after he played at one of Tiny's birthday parties. Tiny passed away about a year after this episode of Wild Chicago first aired.

NEO's; Club 950; Avalon; Tuts; The Exit; Club Exotica; Metro; China Club - danced my ass off in all of 'em. "Those were the days my friend, we thought they'd never end. We danced forever and a day".

Anyone got a link/lead on the episode where they visited R2-Reuse Center in La Grange? I used to shop for 2nd-hand vinyl there, and wish to show my online friends I wasn't lying about how big it was... or what-all could be found there! =:o
