I never missed this show! Late Sunday nights on PBS. They even had an open call for the hosts replacement! Never the same after he left. Lost its edge.

joe kasala played a Chicago Cop in the movie the Fugitive starring Harrison Ford & Tommy Lee Jones filmed right here in Chicago. My all time favorite movie
I instantly recognized his face from the Fugitive the moment he started talking. I thought “this has to be the same dude.”He’s looked the same the last 30 years.
BTW Fugitive is also my favorite Chicago movie that shows the city as I remember it.
Joe Kosala starred as a cop in The Fugitive.

There really wasn’t anything on Tv like this when this was on. It was totally original. The format has been copied over the years, but at the time there really wasn’t anything like it. And on a public TV station no less!
