Is there a full version of this video somewhere?
This is the full version that aired.
Kostya...where are you ?
Will Clinger is funny! Great personality for this type of reality show.
Looks like Harvey Moshman's got a new partner. Her name is Kelly Davis, WGN News reporter.
Thank you for Posting this. Deni's was my favorite of the Greek nightclubs that flourished in the second half of the 20th cen. It had music going until 4:00 am and I spent many many nights there. So many dollar bills were thrown on the dance floor that you had to take care not to slip and fall. It breaks my heart that so much ethnic soul has withered away from America's cities and now every city seems to be like the next.
Thanks for posting this. I grew up as a child and teen there regularly because my father Tasos Sherris played there as a musician. He has since passed but this was our favorite spot. I would run around the kitchen and drink kiddy cocktails.
I remember walking by here as a child and later as a young adult. It was unfortunate that it closed, then Buca di Beppo also closed, the building has since been demolished. ☹
Any photos out there? On Streetview it looked like a one story factory.
I enjoyed this video
Great piece! We live in Aurora and just visited the museum today. As incredible and spectacular as it still is, we were dismayed by the lack of upkeep as well as the lack of signage about who created it and the motivation behind it. It is unprotected by fence or other structure. Pieces are falling apart and being destroyed. And apparently there appears to be no concern by the City of Aurora to keep this piece of history preserved. It is time to revive this story and bring attention to the plight of this outdoor museum. I'm sure those who care will be able to raise funds to start a project to preserve the museum in perpetuity.
Felicia Harlow the place is closed he relocated long ago not even half of what's in the video is still standing everything was moved I just hate to see it wasting away because in the video it seem so beautiful and lively
Denis Den Rocked!
