Go to 10 or 10:30 then ...before you go to left 9..sets the same angle with less space...also 2 and a half spots is too far to go past your hole ..only go past to the end of one extra with your left shoulder... takes less room and sets the same angle...back up on front wheels straight and wait for tandems to slowly pivot, then hold a hard left to the hole.... finish with tractor wheels straight you're home.
@cristhianmostacero7461 not in a semi literally what it's made for and you should be maintaining your truck daily, so it should never be a problem.. that is what pre trips are for..
Lol, the 12 and 9 has to be modified, sometimes you can't make it to 10:30, ...never heard 11 anywhere as a concept tho, always 12-9 Hell sometimes you cant make 10 o'clock on the way out to set up, lol ..get some bend in it and work it ...or do a jack 90 works every time, hell on your tires tho
Mr instructor whenever you hear the power steering screaming that means you turning too much let go of the steering wheel you gonna mess up the pump within a year
I'm just going to point out.... One of you really wants the hard part. One of you can't find his hard part (presumably because it's in a Volvo) The other wants to get it on the hole if it's hard or not. #StayClassy
Why the unnecessary step of lining your shoulder up with the parking spot if you were just going to use the 2 and a half trailers as a reference point to begin putting angle in your trailer? 🤔
You stop midway between your destination spot to make sure that the trailers on the left and right are completely in their lanes. If you use your shoulder, you’re pretty much dead center, and won’t be thrown off by viewing from a bad perspective.
just to confirm you went down 2 and a half spots because you did not have enough room on the dock side? If you had more room on the dock side you would have just drove 1 spot and then did 12 o’clock then 9 oclock?
That’s wrong my guy. you have your shoulder at the middle of the park NEXT TO the one you want to back in, and then you do your hard turns. 2 and a half trailers will have have you overshoot the park by a long shot
Hmm all my life I pull to very next spot and start turning when I reach the airline if a truck was there then pull all way up until I’m at a 45 angle with wheels straight after I stop who knew I was making it hard for myself lol
You can see he just left school. You pull up count spaces, Sturn the stereo to the right go up. Stop Turn the stereo to the left, go down. Stop Use the clock in your memory. Stop put forward, get out and lock 7 times stop, come back. The whole white the sweat off your face
Reinventing the wheel... Just cut in, swing out, go forward a little, turn left so it's "hooked" into the spot you want. Then just follow it in the hole...
At step 3 the truck is facing 12 o'clock. He turns clockwise to the right, the hands on a clock read 1, 2,3 . Why say 11, 10 9 ? That would be counterclockwise turning to the left. I'm obviously confused.
Why you backing from the side when you could have pulled up in front of that spot and got truck and trailer almost straight. Your backing from a side angle with a blind spot on your right. Asking for trouble. Never do a side back unless you have zero chance of any other.
Hes driving with 1 hand basically in the same spot but keeps saying 9 oclock 10 olock 11 oclock like bruh how is the clock going up if your hand is in 1 position and not moving? Terrible example of how to back
Where is the most important part 🤔 You WOULD have the most views IF you do the whole maneuver slow with the check marks and instructions like you have it on here.
Wait wait, is this a joke or real because that seems like it would help if ur limited forward space from how I was taught the 45. I started turning one trailer over from the spot I was going in…
Had to cut early to replace the power steering pump.
You hear the pump struggling hahaha
“Gyrrrrrrrrrah” lol poor pulp
😂😂😂😂😂
He left out the rest cause he crashed the trailer
Lol on god
Well get updates later lol
😂😂😂
Lmao
Lmfao
That power steering pump screaming 😂
This is pretty good advice. But it really depends on how much room you have in front of you that determines the EASIEST angle.
Yah im still having a hard time backing up in these tight wear-houses takes me forever
I needed this video 8 hrs ago 😭😭😭
Bro 😂 where’s the rest
I guess it cut off the video
He hit the tow trucks lol
@@Evan_meek He didn't know what to do next .
Do you have other backing up videos?
This. Is the one part that scares me about driving truck I’m not comfortable backing up or even parallel parking scares me in my car lol 😂
Me toooo I’m debating bout getting my cdl that’s only thing that scares me 😂
You killin dat vovo powa steerin 😂😂
What its made for
to steer but if you continue to kill it it won't steer lol😂😂
@cristhianmostacero7461 not in a semi literally what it's made for and you should be maintaining your truck daily, so it should never be a problem.. that is what pre trips are for..
Loves truck stop: We don't have enough space for that.
Lol, the 12 and 9 has to be modified, sometimes you can't make it to 10:30, ...never heard 11 anywhere as a concept tho, always 12-9
Hell sometimes you cant make 10 o'clock on the way out to set up, lol ..get some bend in it and work it ...or do a jack 90 works every time, hell on your tires tho
😂Fr
Loves tend to have lots of space it's mostly pilot flying js that have small room
This is exactly how I backup too. Can you upload it NOT as a short so that I can show some of my coworkers that still need help backing?
Might wanna put it in reverse if your "backing"
Post the full video of this
Thanks for the help.
This video helped me so much!!! Thank you 😊
Literally best I've seen yet.
This was so helpful thank you
Cmon man I’ve been stuck at the lot in the 10 o’clock position for 3 hours..
When you turn your wheels with out moving you’re going to find lots of joints go out quicker
This helped me. But I stopped when yoh stopped. I got help the rest of the way
Mr instructor whenever you hear the power steering screaming that means you turning too much let go of the steering wheel you gonna mess up the pump within a year
Bro that power steering pump makin me cringe😬
Thank you, backing isn’t the hard part it’s getting set up
I agree.
4 month update?
Backing is the hard part until it isn't. Once your good at backing, you can do sloppy, lazy setups and it works just fine.
I agree in the beginning.
It's all about the setup if you want it easy, why be lazy
Now I just need a truck
Facts
Left out the hard parts 😃
What hard part
once you figure out this set up, you just need to look at your tandems in relation to the hole
I'm just going to point out....
One of you really wants the hard part.
One of you can't find his hard part (presumably because it's in a Volvo)
The other wants to get it on the hole if it's hard or not.
#StayClassy
It won't work out for everyone because the wheelbase lengths aren't the same for every truck and the trailer axles are set in various positions.
It won’t work out for everyone because every backing situation is different.
You may not have the space to reach 9 o’clock on your first turn.
Fuck !
I can't even reverse my bike !
But where the hell is the rest of the video !?
Lol
That’s exactly how I backup 👌
💯💯
Evan need other half of this video requested from Pakistan
Yep and it works every time
This worked for me thank u 🙏
I wonder how many steering tires he goes through in a year?
90 gang out here lol

U helped me out a lot wish u had the rest
Dm me on instagram and ill send you the full vid

@@Evan_meek I truly need help alley docking myself
just to confirm you went down 2 and a half spots because you did not have enough room on the dock side? If you had more room on the dock side you would have just drove 1 spot and then did 12 o’clock then 9 oclock?
Facts
The issue with this advice is that wheel base for the rig makes a huge difference on where your "shoulder" should be.
Sleeper vs Day cab etc...
That’s wrong my guy. you have your shoulder at the middle of the park NEXT TO the one you want to back in, and then you do your hard turns. 2 and a half trailers will have have you overshoot the park by a long shot

Had to cut off video cause he ran out of DOT time 😂
Damn bro turn all the way
Where are you located
Should've had two cameras. The other to showthe results as he back the truck
Nice
Plz need complete video

This is with an automatic. And hes killing that power steering I heard it screaming 😂
follow your feeling 😅
Yesss
Reinventing the wheel... Just cut in, swing out, go forward a little, turn left so it's "hooked" into the spot you want. Then just follow it in the hole...
your truck hates you for that bro
Volvo power steering 😂😂😂😂
If it works it makes sense seems pretty easy
Power steering pump quit so they had to make part 2 later?
How I’m really lost
Arent you supposed to not turn wheels when stationary if possible?
I play some Truck Simulation games and I can ensure you you had time enough to park like 5 trucks!!! Hey but don’t crash either!!
Do yall not know what crimping a steering wheel is?
I cringed every time I heard that power steering pump
Dude forget the lesson, go easy on the steering pump
At step 3 the truck is facing 12 o'clock. He turns clockwise to the right, the hands on a clock read 1, 2,3 . Why say 11, 10 9 ? That would be counterclockwise turning to the left. I'm obviously confused.
You turned the wheel 1 to many times. Not shoulder!😂 line your drive tires with spot you want to park in. This will help in tight spots like amazon.
where is the rest?
I just said the same thing 🙄
I guess when i uploaded it, it trimmed the full video
Auto yard dog took his job mid park.
say bye bye to the power steering pump and evenly worn steering tires. just do all these steps in move
Wait he only went forward
Man i suck at doing 45° i only do 90° lol im too scared ill fuck up my setup
Skills come with time
Why i don't see the trailer in the mirror
Who you driving for under FedEx
Why you backing from the side when you could have pulled up in front of that spot and got truck and trailer almost straight. Your backing from a side angle with a blind spot on your right. Asking for trouble. Never do a side back unless you have zero chance of any other.
Soon as you hit second trailer start turning lol
You doing too much
It was a thumbs up until it cutoff. Didn’t finish maneuver . 😮
There's 101 classroom shit that's what he're doing
Rest?
That's 3 spaces, not 2.5
Hes driving with 1 hand basically in the same spot but keeps saying 9 oclock 10 olock 11 oclock like bruh how is the clock going up if your hand is in 1 position and not moving? Terrible example of how to back
Oh shit police involved in

Not good on power steering pump to hold at stop points
To short trailer
Bro and after?
Why didn’t you back it
You have me confused , with step 3 . Then you confused me more . I can’t thumbs up your video .
How am i the only dislike, cut short and your power steering is screaming for its life 😂
He is pulling doubles give me a break
That is just to setup if you got the room.. tight place this trick will not work.
Why?? 😂
Please stop holding the steering wheel all the over that power steering pump is screaming for its life
RIP😔
Bro for real im trying to learn and this is a waste of time.
Stupid backing tip, never have and never will use this method
Please help me out I'm a truck driver from Bénin république am looking for job in USA please help me out??
Are we learning from a woman? 🤔negative im good next show and tell please 😆😆😆
My instructor is woman!!!!
Lol huh?
Your original position is comlromised. You did not convey thoughts of trust in me, sir. Thank you, but no.
