You're welcome @geraldinperalta2405. GOD bless you as well, so very happy this video provided some clarity. please visit www.thisisebm.com we would love your support.
Love the explenation. You will very rarely do this backup maneuver in one move. This method simplifies it once you are in the box at the angle he has shown. Take your time and 4 or 5 pull ups and get your self safely in between the other 2 trucks.
Hey Cornell! This is exactly what I’ve been doing. So it’s reassuring knowing that I’m not doing anything wrong. I always feel like I’m over steering when I get a bend going to the left. It does take me several pull ups but this technique works! -Monique
It may take a few pull ups to get the bend out, but if up straighten the wheel and up just until the trailer is in the position you want, them turn the wheel all the way to the left and back up and just repeat that until the bend is gone just like in the video it should work for you. Stick to the formula stick to the script.. Let me know how it works for you....
That's good news because backing is one of the things that make people give up. So I'm happy this help. It's really not as hard as it seems. Follow these steps and it will really begin to make sense.
Hey Cornell just wanna thank u for helping me u definitely have made me a good trucker glad I got to train with u in person you the best #noneofthatwigglinandjigglinshit 💯

Very nicely done so happy someone broke it down like this, when I was with Schneider back in 2015 for 2 months before I got fired lol, just for experience I didn’t care, well they also did this but this brother made it much easier. Also do the 90 back to where you kinda jackknife it stop, then turn wheel all the way to left and follow your trailer as it pivots into the pocket.
Hey Tessa, if you watch that short video and follow the steps exactly like in the video, it should work for you. Once you learn this simple formula you will see that backing isn't as hard a some people make it out to be.☺
Sir I want to say that this procedure does work. I don't care what others say. When I was in New Albany, Ms. At the Walmart distrubution center, when I was struggling to back in my trailer, I had a fellow driver help me back in it by using this procedure. I didn't notice it until I saw the bend of my trailer and thats when I thought of this video. It works, even when parking your trailer from a 45 degree angle it works. As long as you have the proper setup, this procedure will work every time.
@@Thisisebm np. It's just all about how much space you have in front of you as well because most of the time when I turn my wheel all the way to the right, i have to turn to left early at times because of the lack of space in front of me at times. What do I do then to adust
Thank you so much. I’ve been struggling with 45 and your video helped me so much today, I got in the box everytime. I have my CDL and I’m in training with a new company and for some odd reason I do not understand their instructions. Thanks again
I have done top gun, and been out with a mentor three weeks, and passed everything except my backing. So I have had my trainer give me tips and time to show me how to back at 90 … and for some reason I get my left and rights pulling and reversing mixed up at times. I now have to back 5-6 times tomorrow morning without help. And to know how to correct if I make a mistake before I can get my truck. I enjoyed this video. I am right now using toy semi’s to understand my turns and this has helped!
Thank You I was stuck and trying to remember the basics and was drawing a mf blank. You came through in clutch situation, I Appreciate you for the helping guide.
Great question, if setup is done correctly, maybe a couple. But once you began to understand when you have the results of the turn and when to respond (1), if that .
Thank you so much in advance for this video, I haven’t tried it yet but I’m confident because of the way you explained it, I’ve been having so many issues but it makes so much sense now. Do you follow the opposite formula if the setup is on your right?

i just finished my first week of driving training and my eye kept deceiving me so so so frustrating. this really helps thanks for posting it in such plainness.
My pleasure Trent, and thanks for watching... We're currently working on a video that I believe will provide even more clarity... Be on the lookout for that.
Thank you so much for this video. I just passed my hostler training and is set to go to CDL school. This video has helped me get to where I need to be in learning to back a trailer on a dock door and parking space. This is what CDL school need for a learning training tool. Thanks again.
You're welcome, I wish you continued success Ms Jones
Awesome video. I have been having problems with backing and this gave me the technique I needed to improve 100 percent. Thanks sir. Keep the videos coming. Keep up the good work.
Thanks Jeff, We're working on a video right now.... Thanks for watching....
So grateful I just started at a intermodal yard you saved my brain thanks 🙏
This is so wild to me! So beautifully fascinating too 🥰🥰🥰. Never considered doing/trying this myself but am in total awe of anyone that can.
Thanks for watching @dunbardunelm3924. Visit www.thisisebm.com
Great video….I have been struggling with backing ever since coming out of school in 2019 ….After watching your video I can now get this backing 9 out of 10 times and couldn’t be happier….No more struggling in truck stops and filling stupid because you can’t get the trailer in like the other drivers…Thanks a million…..
That's wonderful Brian! Thanks for watching.
Thank you. I been working on that for 5 years. I wrote the information down to practice it. Alo called an alley dock. After 30 times the brain stores something permanent. God bless you sir.
You're welcome Michael, and thanks for watching.
Omg us rookies NEED this THANK YOUU!!.... its soo intimidating when u cant get it in especially when u going to the truck stop and everybody watching and being impatient. I will save this and be sure to follow
Yes! There are some really helpful people but not always! Did this work for you?
Bro you have helped me to pass my job interview, that'll take place in few weeks from now. I have never gone to driving school but you just gave me all I need and with your instructions I'm bold now as A lion😊
Congratulations Brian! Thanks for watching... I wish you all the success in the world 🌎. Vist my site www.thisisebm.com . I would love to have your support...
Thank you so much! Please keep posting, write a book with diagrams for the newbies, for real! These schools out here sending people out blind hoping they'll get a decent trainer smh.
Thanks for watching Laurie, Yeah I know how it is coming out of school and still not having a clear understanding of your craft. So that's why I'm trying to put a little info out that could clear up some of the cobwebs☺ Not everyone like how I do it but that's ok too.
I couldn’t agree more! He explained it very well.
Bro you are the best ever !
You gonna put those schools out of business !
If someone can't get it from you , they just can't get it !
Thanks for watching @saywhat-pl2jl

Thanks for watching Quan!
Absolutely the best way explained
I been having such a hard time with backing and you definitely made me see how I really been messing up! Thanks alot you made me really see how hard I was making it! I was laughing so hard watching this because you are so right! 😂
I'm glad it's made sense @prettyblk64.. Thanks for watching..Please visit www.thisisebm.com
Man you have taught me more in 30 seconds than what I'm learning in cdl school
Thanks Anthony, and thanks for watching...
Facts! Same here
After 100 vídeos I found the only one it can help me thank you so much god bless you.
You're welcome
@geraldinperalta2405. GOD bless you as well, so very happy this video provided some clarity. please visit www.thisisebm.com we would love your support.
Great video but what if you don't have enough space to do a 45 set-up? Could you please do a video showing that. You are God sent, thank you sir.
This technique has helped me quite a bit in managing tight spaces. Thank you.
Excellent! please visit www.thisisebm.com
Love the explenation. You will very rarely do this backup maneuver in one move. This method simplifies it once you are in the box at the angle he has shown. Take your time and 4 or 5 pull ups and get your self safely in between the other 2 trucks.
Thanks for watching White Sox
This little teaching deserves one million shares. Thank you broo, very helpful. God bless you.
Thanks Kelvin. Thanks for watching.
Man, you simplified this so much it's crazy! And even more so, you made it make PERFECT sense. Thanks man. That's 100 for real.🤜🏾🤛🏾
Thanks JL I appreciate that and thanks for watching
Very very good teaching . I went many different trucks school but I did learn very key point likev this guy teaching in very simple ways.
Thanks Alge,and thanks for watching.
How you do Queen, hope it's working for you. Stick to the script...☺
Thank you for the video. It really helps and gives additional tips on how to reverse the thrailer truck.
👍🙂
You're welcome! Thanks for watching...Visit www.thisisebm.com
Thank you! I have been struggling with my backing and got frustrated.. but this definitely helped!
That's good news because backing is one of the things that make people give up. So I'm happy this help. It's really not as hard as it seems. Follow these steps and it will really begin to make sense.
This is the best instructional video I have seen.
Thanks, and thanks for watching

@@Thisisebm Thank you
I hope your job interview went well Tasha.
@@LisaSmith-dg1lu it did thank you lisa
@@Twogirl01 You're welcome Tasha. I wish you lots of success. I hope you like your new company. Are you otr or short haul? I love Mr.Cornell's teachings. Mr.Cornell and others like him deserve special blessings for caring enough to help teach and give guidance to their fellow rookie drivers. Another channel you may like to view is My Trucking Skills. Both are wonderful channels.
Thank you! I was wondering if I was doing something wrong!
Hey Tessa, if you watch that short video and follow the steps exactly like in the video, it should work for you. Once you learn this simple formula you will see that backing isn't as hard a some people make it out to be.☺
How close ship my tractor be to the lined of trailers that I’m pulling in front of
Sir I want to say that this procedure does work.
I'm glad it helped you Isaac! And thanks for watching.
@@Thisisebm np. It's just all about how much space you have in front of you as well because most of the time when I turn my wheel all the way to the right, i have to turn to left early at times because of the lack of space in front of me at times. What do I do then to adust
Thank you for pointing out the points to look for.
You welcome, and thanks for watching Larry!
Thank you so much. I’ve been struggling with 45 and your video helped me so much today, I got in the box everytime. I have my CDL and I’m in training with a new company and for some odd reason I do not understand their instructions. Thanks again
That's awesome! Thanks for watching.
Wowwww thanks a lot brother you show me Exactly The best way to do it
A great instructor 🎉🎉🎉
Turn steering wheel right the trailer comes right to you and Turn steering wheel Left the trailer will Leave you
I have done top gun, and been out with a mentor three weeks, and passed everything except my backing.
Wow 😳 I really learned that quick from a toy thank you
Awesome, Thanks for watching Tiffanie... I'm working on a new video as we speak to provide even more clarity....
Thank You I was stuck and trying to remember the basics and was drawing a mf blank. You came through in clutch situation, I Appreciate you for the helping guide.
You're welcome, Thanks for watching... Visit www.thisisebm.com
This is the best instruction I have seen. Curious how many on average fwd/rev cycles this takes in an average size lot?
Great question, if setup is done correctly, maybe a couple. But once you began to understand when you have the results of the turn and when to respond (1), if that .
Thx brother b be learning moor from you than instructor thx very much Baltimore
Your welcome Michael... Keep Trucking.... Visit my site....www.thisisebm.com
Thanks for watching
Thank you so much in advance for this video, I haven’t tried it yet but I’m confident because of the way you explained it, I’ve been having so many issues but it makes so much sense now. Do you follow the opposite formula if the setup is on your right?
Correct Angelo! Backing is quite simple if it's explained properly. Don't forget to get out and look if you are unsure of the room you have. Plus it lets the people around you know that you are aware of your surroundings. Thanks for watching.
For almost 4 years I have been trying to learn this backing. With this video I can understand what trainer were trying to teach. Hopefully this time I can get it.🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
Thanks for watching Michael
😊finally passed in April
Yea.. if the situation gives you that much space to work with.
yeah lol unfortunately alot of docks don't allow this much space 😅
@@RephaiahTchazelIsrael Most yards as well as other drivers with no yard etiquette won't allow for this perfect set up EVERY TIME.
This IS THE BEST backing video EVER!! You give me what I needed to understand and did not get from my trainer in two days with them. THANKS and I will keep watching and following your channel!!
Thanks Denise, I'm glad this video provided some clarity for you....
I appreciate this. Been studying my ass off everyday
I hope it helped
