    Accutane really helps with the acne but its a very strong medicine and not for everyone. I tried it but my dermatologist told me to stop when I kept having headaches for 3 days. For the hyperpigmentation and scarring, it really depends on your skin type and your age. The older you get, healing process of skin is slower and its restorative abilities would decrease. Also some people do tend to get deeper scars or more hyperpigmentation than others. Products alone cannot and will not smooth out your skin texture. Luckily, this girl adressed her acne issue at a relatively young age where her skin still has the ability to heal and restore (if not totally but mostly) her scarring and hyperpigmentation.

    • @bluepane5383
      @bluepane5383 11 месяцев назад

      @@konnyakujelly_ I am not a professional so better check with one. However, personally, I tried oral medications as a last resort to combat my severe acne. They are effective but my body is not liking the side effects. I've tried antibiotic, accutane, and pills. With pills, it was actually ok but I was concerned with long term effect and I wont gamble my over health on that one. I was on it for 8 months and it helped stabilize my hormones and in turn cleared my skin. But after coming off from it, my acne came back but not as bad as before. Right now, after doing a lot of personal research, I have my own simple beauty routine w/c mainly consists of korean products, really helped managed my acne. Now, I only get 1 or 2 zits around my period. I also reduced caffeine intake and processed carbs w/c made a lot of difference on my skin. Maybe do your own research so you can make an informed decision. What may work for others may not work for you and vise versa.

    Amazing skincare routine !! I struggled with acne for 10 years and what I’ve learned in the process to clear glowy skin is LESS IS MORE . My skin completely took a wild turn after using good skincare . My scars are nearly gone and no acne . I used the La Roshe posay toleraine cleanser with the La Roshe posay toleraine double repair mosturizer and the ordinary glycolic acid toning solution only at night twice a week , and the ole Hendrickson BARRIER BOOSTER ORANGE FERMENT VITAMIN C ESSENCE . Chefs kiss 💋 I had hormonal acne and it sucked but now it’s better and I’m living my best life . Staying consistent and using key ingredient skin care products will save your skin. Also drinking clean water and having a good diet most of the time . I still eat sugar and have a cheat day every week . But the inside matters just as much as what you put on the outside ❤❤❤❤❤ u have to try your best to find what triggers your acne for me it was dairy , cow milk so I switched to oat milk and soymilk and it had made a drastic improvement on my skin . Also fried greasy foods . And chocolate omg , so now I treat myself on period to chocolate lol 😆 but if your acne is severe or u have acne in general check your diet and skincare products . Try LA ROSHE POSAY ❤
    You can find La Roshe at target and Walgreens stay consistent and be positive I knoe it’s hard but it will go away ! Don’t pick or pop them as tempting as it is ! You’ll have more scars and hyperpigmentation 😭✨ remember acne is normal and it’s natural !
    Do not use biore . Clean and clear , St.ives .
    No no no don’t do it !
    Also you can download the app YUKA 🥕 to scan skincare products/ body wash etc to see if it has any bad ingredients that can possibly trigger and inflame your acne worse . I highly recommend that app.

Go to a dermatologist to find out, or try the cleansing test. And search up what type ingredients are right for that skin type.

    I am going to tell you something your doctor may not have -- Accutane works via the mechanism of damaging your body. It is not "IF" it damages you, it is more "when" or "how severely".
    You may be 100% ok WHILE TAKING the medication, but that doesn't mean it won't harm you. The serious damage (literally everything listed on the insert, and more) may begin to happen to you not while on the medication but months or even years after you stop taking it.
    The very mechanism of accutane is quite literally cell death (bodywide apoptosis). It is a chemotherapeutic drug. The cell death is not limited to sebaceous glands of the skin, but actually occurs everywhere, including stem cells which, once permanently damaged, do not replenish themselves - hence the permanent effects of acne clearance. This explains the "post-exposure delayed toxicity" that is seen with accutane and other chemotherapeutic drugs that also work through cytotoxic / stem-cell killing mechanisms.
    The permanent damage from this medication can happen after it is discontinued (months or years down the line) even without side effects or any warnings/abnormal blood results when you are taking it. Just be warned, this drug could seriously ruin your body (eyes, bones, joints, hair, teeth, spine, skin, brain, nerves, tendons, ligaments) for the rest of your life, and it can happen to you in the future, even if you're ok now....so once you've been exposed to this drug, you are never safe and you never know what will happen. This happened to me despite normal/mild side effects while taking the drug.
    The damage suddenly set in about 5 months after I stopped taking it. I took a 'low' dose, only 20mg/day. Everything was fine and dandy while I took the drug...I exercised, went to school, my blood labs were normal. Years later I still have such severe damage that I'm barely able to walk.
    In addition to bodywide apoptosis and stem cell death, accutane also creates permanent gene expression changes (in more than 500 genes), DNA oxidative damage, and direct oxidative damage to every tissue of your body. There are studies that prove that accutane causes downregulation (a change in genetic expression which decreases) of collagen (the literal framework/scaffolding of your body), elastin (keeps your skin resilient and stretchy), and hyaluronic acid (the "water-holding molecule" that keeps your skin and joints youthful) - all CRITICAL proteins in ALL connective tissues that keep you looking and feeling youthful. So, quite literally, this drug AGES you.
    Accutane also downregulates telomerase, a protein that repairs damaged/broken DNA and is associated with biological youth. Have you ever noticed that someone who took accutane looks "older" or "less youthful"? These are the reasons why.
    Doctors consistently try to deny the existence of delayed post-exposure effects (they say that effects only happen while on the drug, not weeks/months/years after stopping the drug) but this has similarly happened to countless others (thousands) as well and isn't rare. Taking accutane is certainly a choice, but most people are not fully aware of how awful it is to everyone who takes it and what kind of risks you are truly taking for your future health.

    • @rnisam92
      @rnisam92 2 года назад +8

      @@Friskai it's been years and the pains only get worse over time. That is just the reality of everyone who has been seriously damaged by accutane, everyone I know who took it and has joint damage continues to progressively get worse as time goes on. That's because your body stops producing joint fluid and your joints will continuously degenerate as the years go on. It is the worst kind of poison that exists.

Went back to the derma then she advised me to go on a 2nd course and then the cycle continued until my 3rd course. I finally stopped taking it during the pandemic. Isotret gave me a bunch of side effcts, even mental health probs. I swear!

    For everyone who can’t accept it,
    First of all you have to your faults, then stick to proper diet, crct intake of water and exercises and proper skincare routine.
    You can’t get a skin like that in a week
    It takes time with people and products you use.
    Major step is finding your skin type and rather than trying all products at once,
    It is better to have or find a good cleanser, moisturizer and sunscreen that suits you
