Ketosis gives also amonia breath and its beneficial not a sign of kidney disease. Ketosis helps with high blood sugar and losing weight, it's a healing process for brain and body.
Keto breath is temporary, and usually only happens in the early stages of ketosis, or if you are eating far too much protein. Keto is a high fat diet but people tend to eat too much lean protein to compensate for the lack of carbs, causing a buildup of urea. Drinking more water and following the macros properly usually fixes it. Signs and symptoms can cross over various conditions. 💚
