After losing a lot of weight from a lapbanding surgery, my surgeon said I had gall stones 3x4mm. But I had no pain just hard time digesting food. He told me I had to have my gallbladder removed. If I didn't, it might get stuck into the ducts and block it, which would make surgery harder. The doctor said it is not an important organ, and that we really don't need it. I put it off for 2 years but they insisted I have the surgery. Even though I never complained about it after I was told. Obviously they needed to train students so I was forced to have it. Biggest regret, nothing changed in terms of digestion. Yes, I do have floating 💩. The doctors are wrong, every organ in our body has a purpose. I wish I had researched more info on getting rid of gallstones naturally.

I am so grateful I seen this vid as it described everything I have and been going through, to-a-tee! .. I finally for certain know what I have and I feel like screaming w/joy!!!! .. I cannot wait until my next three doctors appointments this month as I can show them this vid and they'll now know what to test me for and TREAT !! .. I've been suffering for so long, have already had my gallbladder removed 4 years ago but still been in so much pain on a regular basis! .. I'm always eating so healthy, so bland but now I see, too healthy almost! .. I do drink so much water but my mouth is always so dry, I have to chew gum, even when I sleep and the pain in my gut is so excruciating, I think that I'm dying every two to three weeks when I have an attack! .. I'm just so excited right now, as I'm in so much pain but fiinally know exactly what's wrong w/me so I get this treated! .. Yay! .. This was SO helpful🙏. This ticks So many boxes for me. I’ve seen many consultants who couldn’t see this and have now signed me off because I don’t fit in to their small boxes of symptoms. With ALL their training, they are SO blinkered and unhelpful. You have to try to heal yourself nowadays. In the past doctors would keep investigating until they found the cause. Now…..if you don’t fit into their list of symptoms, they just sign you off! I have found them completely useless. 🙁

My spouse started with all of this in 2009. Two years back & forth to the Dr/hospital and they couldn't figure it out. He ended up getting pancreatitis & they accused him of being an alcoholic but he didn't drink.
I finally took him to the Mayo Clinic & they took out his gallbladder. Then told us the damage from the stones destroyed his pancreas & there was nothing they could do.
He died two years later in 2013. It was a needless & painful way to die.

I inherited a gallbladder problem (father and grandmother had theirs removed.) I am 75 and still have mine, though for 40 years I have had attacks which I have learned how to prevent. I've never had any hospitalization or surgery. I am 53 years a vegetarian. I know that milk fats can cause an attack. Too much of any fats will cause an attack. I tried taking 1 tablespoon of lecithin a day. It is made up of choline. However, I get a Coronary Artery Calcium scan every two years. The lecithin almost doubled the plaque in my arteries so I stopped taking it. (K2, D3, magnesium actually lowered it 18% one two year period - statins increased it.) I must say that I do keep lecithin around in case I have a gallbladder attack. It will shorten the duration by half or a third. But I don't take it daily to prevent plaque formation. Another thing that I have found causes a gallbladder attack is turmeric. It causes the gallbladder to contract. If you have stones that will cause the attack.

Bad advice. Some people have developed sepsis, pancreatic cancer, gallbladder cancer due to not removing their gallbladder. Sometimes it DOES need to be removed. I’ve had a few family members have theirs removed decades ago and have felt so much better. No issues over the year and no more suffering from attacks, aches and pains.

    • @andymanland

Actually, without gallbladder, the bile is stored in the liver canals. Becsuse there is no concentrated place to store it, the bile is not as concentrated as it was when stored in the bladder. This means that you still have bile production, but not as concentrated as before. Which means you should be eating smaller portions. So instead of eating 2-3, you should go with 5-6 per day. And of course keep eating fat products, spicy, sour, bitter foods, which all stimulate bile releasing. Plus, you should practice visceral abdominal message as it releases tension that might be present in abdominal organs, including liver/gallbladder area, which blocks the bile from releasing.

Also just a note all three meals should be arranged in this manner not just lunch and dinner, breakfast if you are a breakfast person should follow the guide

Good question without an easy answer. IBS involves carbohydrate metabolism and the gallbladder involves fat metabolism. So we are in different ball parks. One way to handle it is give Ox Bile or Bile Salts a try and see if it helps. The following is a note from the internet about Bile Salt Malabsorption (BSM) and IBS . . . . The symptoms present in bile salt malabsorption are often confused with IBS (in particular IBS-D). However BSM is often present in patients with IBS-D, perhaps because the rapid movement of the intestine moves bile into the colon before it can be reabsorbed.
