Wanted to like this insert, but the clam spring broke in about two weeks. Shame looked awesome with my golden ratio brass armor.

I fixed it using JB weld (steel formula) and replaced the rivets using M2x8mm screw and hex nuts. Works and more reliable now. I also replaced the cheap wick with a better one and rerouted the wick for better performance. Performs so much better now.

You, want to use cotton bacon ! Cotton bacon Premium is the way to go .

I’ve been using a 100 count bag of cotton balls I got from the dollar tree for $1 in my lighters and it works perfectly. You don’t need to spend $7 on cotton bacon. It’s a lighter, not a vape. Taste is not of concern.
