How is this an ultralight tent? It weighs 6.13 pounds, it needs to lose around four pounds to be ultralight. Packed down it looks like it would take up half of a fifty liter pack. I’m happy you like it, and I’m sure it’s a great tent, but it’s heavy. Personally it’s too heavy, and looks too bulky when in its broke down for me to backpack with.
Your correct comparing to some like my tipi tent it’s double the weight but when comparing it to the price point it’s the best you can do for durability weight size and ability, truly is a great tent I enjoy using each season
I never was able to afford the super ultralight 1lb tents so to me this was ultralight, but I have gotten the one tipi ultralight 1 lb one recently and it is much easier to pack
Solid girlfriend gift brother! Looks like an easy set up too that’s important. Great explanation as always!! Reflectors on the tent is really a great idea too! Bobcat tracks just outside yikes! Great job!!
Thanks for watching it’s great because the fully waterproof ability and netting screen is great weight is 5lbs so just keep that in mind for ultralight gear
Hey buddy thanks for watching haven’t caught your lives yet I been traveling the last 7 weeks filming only in lives here and there for a few minutes when I see someone on, Hope all is well
Thanks for watching, that’s strange I didn’t have any issues with this, some tents I stuff sack also instead of trying to re fold but this one folded and rolled well for me
@@denrizza yea i understood, trying to make ya feel better LOL. Idk how old you are, but if you ever had those old Ozark Trail tents growing up like 25 years ago say, they were so difficult to roll the sack never had enough room to fit them, find these tents today a bit easier LOL
@@paparomesoutdoors711 I still have one from 25 years ago. Still works except for a few mild rubs on the bottom of the tent from accidentally putting it on some sandstone rocks.

Lmfao hahahha GONE!!!!
This is NOT ultralight. At 6lbs, it's not even light. It's a very nice tent though.

Good review. This unit has been on my "short list" for what I want to carry on the Appalachian Trail.
Thanks for watching it’s great because the fully waterproof ability and netting screen is great weight is 5lbs so just keep that in mind for ultralight gear
It's a little big and a little heavy for an AT hike
How can they call a 6 pound tent ultralite

Unpacking this tent isn't an issue for me. Just packing it back up. Never folds like it's supposed to.
Thanks for watching, that’s strange I didn’t have any issues with this, some tents I stuff sack also instead of trying to re fold but this one folded and rolled well for me
@@paparomesoutdoors711 LOL I was stating this was a personal problem for me. Rolling is definitely much better, I just don't roll well.
