Absolutely agree with the MR2. That’s why I jumped and got one. So many of them were sold for dirt cheap and modified horribly. It’s the cheap alternative to a NSX(you can v6 swap them, kswap also)
The RSX type S will take off also. Has all the good kseries goodies and with AWD becoming the go too thing in the Honda community people will snap these up. The RSX/EP3 is the easiest/cheapest Honda platform to make AWD.

This today was another good video, and from this list I would enjoy the MR2. I almost bought one back in its first year as a new model. (Salesman was rude to my wife and we walked)
Don't worry about working on the mr2 being painful, cause its crazy reliable. The 3SGE has a life expectancy of 500'000km. Only thing you have to learn is to have consistant speed at corners to not snapoversteer

Damn, it must be nice. Before I ever had a car like 10 years ago, every car on this list would be significantly over $5k. Hawaii is the worst place for second hand sports cars since civics usually run 6-7k for a stock 4dr. Miatas are around 8-10k rn, is300s havnt been under 10k in years here, a running e36 can be 12k. Its insane to put it lightly
I recommend the toyota aristo 1993 has a 2jz-gte actually! rwd and 4 speed
its really a nice sleeper they come across about 15k - 23k

@@wanting_ the usdm second gen aristo or the gs300 has a 2jz-ge which can make considerable power for a daily. The aristo is not the best platform for modifying as it’s auto only. And the v300 wasn’t even made in 1993, it was model years 1997 and up if I’m not mistaken.

SRT4 Cobalt SS Turbo charger and supercharger up in price Trans Am firebird up in price now.Acura legend is up in price now 10,000 to 12,995 K.Honda prelude is high in price.S14 is High.I just got a 94 S14 Silvia Queen for 12K .Also only reason Eclipse is not a JDM legend cause it's DSM not JDM not sold in Japan unless imported Eclipse is a Dodge aka Chrysler Diamond Star Motors.

respectfully DO NOT buy an acura legend. the ones that are cheap (at least by me) are all beat up and there’s barely any parts you can come across, little to no aftermarket support and it’s unreliable if you don’t maintain it properly. i have one and it’s been hell trying to fix a leak. only get this car if you’re planning to swap it with a TL engine or something or are extremely dedicated to cars.
another thing is the engine is huge, and the engine bay is small so you can see how that would be a problem when you’re trying to fix something
