10 Min Hourglass Waist Workout- Easy Exercises to TONE & CINCH the Waist

  • These are my favorite moves to tone up my abs and cinch the waist! It's only 10 mins and easy moves with no equipment needed.
    Disclaimer: Fat loss in one specific area (i.e. just your waist) is not possible. In order to lose the 'fat', you have to lose the entire body's fat percentage through a caloric deficit or by adding cardio (to burn more calories) into your workout routine. However, working the abs is important to tone up, create more definition and cinch the waist.
    Remember, HEALTH IS HOT. So be proud of yourself for taking the time to live a healthier lifestyle. Taking care of your body is essentially taking care and loving yourself. Working out right now may seem pointless, but with time, next thing you know, your body is beautifully toned, stronger and healthier. You will definitely notice yourself being more confident, happier and living a higher quality of life overall just like how it did for me.
    Trust the process. Trust your body. Trust yourself. Everything will come in place so just be consistent while using the right and effective workouts.

      Genetics also play a huge role in this. Maybe she already started with a small stomach and waist but just wanted it smaller🤷🏽‍♀️

    I just wanted to say that even tho Ik not everyone will read but this week has been a rough week and an eye opener bc im turning 15 in less than 3 days, I’ve been stressed and feeling like I couldn’t accomplish anything but I finished this one workout and even tho I started this because I was a bit insecure I ended feeling a little bit more sure of myself. Like I finished something 🙂

    Gonna do this For a week !
    Day 1: ✅ ( IT WAS HARDD )
    Day 2 : ✅ ( i felt the burn !!!)
    Day 3 : ✅
    I forget to update !!! I didn't stop but it actually work !! I got rid of love handles and my waist got smaller!

    TRYING ANOTHER WORKOUT!!
    ‼️doing for 1/2 weeks, no diet, doing 1 workout (i have rest days too!!)
    - In the last 2 weeks i gained some weight in my waist and i cant see my abs anymore so i need this
    Day1 ✅:i def felt the burn! And it was hard. No results
    Day2✅: AHH It hurts from yesterday so much, which means it works!! :D felt the burn.
    Day3✅:it was easier, and i can see small changes in my uper abs
    Day✅4:i felt the burn, and surprisingly i didnt sweat today. I dont see much changes
    Day5❌:rest day (i'm so sorry i was exhausted)
    Day6✅:it was kinda hard but idk why, and i'm super happy bc my waist got smaller and i see my abs a little bit!
    Day✅7: did it kinda late, but it still works! My waist is so much smaller and i can see my little abs!
    GUYS REMEMBER I ALREADY HAD ABS AND A SMALL WAIST BUT I KINDA LOST THEM
    I'm gonna do the second week! Bcs i love this workout and it feels amazing♥︎
    ❔next week
    Day8❌:i literally forgot to do it.. (Rest day?)
    Day9✅:i feel my abs and my waist is smaller
    Day10✅:i see huge changes in my waist! And it's cinched
    Day11✅:i js cant belive how much changes i have in my waist! Its already a hourglass but i'll still continue
    Day12❌:sorry i did another workout (not for waist) and i didnt do it, so rest day! 😅
    Day13✅:i love this workout i already see what i wanted to see, my last day is tomorrow
    Day14✅:nothing much changed from yesterday. I love the results!

      @@_reve12_17 In the morning, I do her de-bloat exercises before finally starting her 5-minute outer thigh workout. Then, in the afternoon, I repeat her outer thigh workout, and if my legs are still able to function normally, I add her knee fat burn routine. Gloria Song's leg and thigh routines make up roughly all of my leg and thigh workouts. I cut exercising every day because I believe it works best for me that way, and I'm also a bit lazy or have no motivation at times, so I think I should cut that as well hehe. Truly, remember not to be too harsh on yourself. Take your time. 🌱

      Oh, almost forgot, what you eat plays a significant role in all of this. Not to recommend you should refuse to eat, but you should monitor what you consume.

    okay so I’ve been doing this for a little while already but I thought it would be good to share with you all, especially anyone looking to try this workout but not knowing if they should.
    I will say one thing: the burn on the first few days kILLS for days on end, but if you keep doing it, you’ll start to hurt less over time. I feel like for me it’s helped my waist and love handles shrink a bit so far, but I’m going to continue this workout and see if it changes more.
    day 1: 👍
    day 2: 👍
    day 3: 👍
    day 4: 👍
    day 5-7: I actually ended up breaking my finger after day 4 lmao so I had to take a break, I’m now continuing the workouts with a broken finger
    day 8: 👍
    day 9: 👍
    day 10-12: there’s a huge heatwave rn and I struggled with the heat quite a bit, so I had to take a health break so I didn’t hurt myself any more
    day 13: 👍
    day 14: 👍 I have barely any upper body strength lol, but I’m getting much better at holding a high plank etc - it’s really empowering!
    day 15: 👍
    day 16: 👍
    day 17: 👍
    day 18: 👍
    day 19: 👍
    day 20: 👍
    day 21: 👍
    day 22: 👍
    day 23: 👍
    day 24: 👍
    day 25: 👍 I cannot explain how empowering it has been for me to be able to hold the high plank the whole time today, even into the next exercise! As I’ve said before, I am really weak and it’s something I know I need to work on; it felt so amazing to beat this challenge and push myself!

    gonna do this workout for one week!💘
    day 1: ✅ ( I completely feel the burn 🔥)
    day 2: ✅ ( can still feel the burn )
    day 3: ✅ (I forgot to do the work out but at least I did it in the morning 🙂)
    day 4: ✅ (you can still feel the burn it was a good burn and I also did a my pe workout too🔥)
    day 5: ✅ (js did a workout in the morning and oml it Still burn even if you burn some calories.)

    Hi Gloria it’s been a few weeks to a month by now I stopped working out. I lost motivation and now I realized that the reason why I lost motivation was because I was overworking myself. Now I know that I don’t need to do countless workouts nonstop. I realize that I should be eating fruits and exercising for at least a hour a day and eat fruits and eat healthy thank u Gloria I will continue doing this workout hopefully I won’t lose my motivation again.

      the same thing happened to me. I never realized it tho and some days when I didn’t work out or do my normal routine I felt so disappointed in myself but now I’m starting to get back Into working out and started from scratch. It’s been hard but I know my goal and the second time around I know what I should be doing. I hope you the best of luck with your journey!!

    Hi Gloria I recently start doing your workouts again since I stop working out for a while and I wanna start again and yours always give that burn but are still simple to keep up with I want to suggest could you more booty workouts with glute bridges and squads?( I have a hard time engaging my booty in the others that are single side exercises for wtv reason) once again thank you so much for your workouts and stretches videos they so helpful and create amazing results in a realistic quick way

    Doing this once every second day like she said to (along with thinner calves and de bloating stretch routine! !
    Day 1: ✅ burned but I am proud of my self
    Update day 2: tomorrow again but I am soooo soar today! But I think that’s means it’s working 💗 and I also lost 2 pounds
    Day 3: ✅ burned but I am super proud of myself 👍
    Day 4: better today 👍 not to to sore
    Day 5:✅only did half the workout bc I was exhausted ☹️

    Day 1-Longest 10 min ever....ughhhh
    Well i skipped a few days so here it goes again
    Day 1-Can see a bit changes...feeling lighter!
    Day 2-can feel the changes....and see a bit...yayy but still i have a long way to go
    Day 3 - ooooo.....i see changes small but noticeable...yayyyy
    day 4-well...i didnt see any changes since i ate a lot today...better luck tomorrow i guess🥲
    Day5-rest
    Day6-woohooo.....i see changesssss..yayyyy
    Day 7 - my favourite part of the workout was when she said it was the last exercise...

    I'm currently combining a few of your abs workouts because I feel like since I stopped doing really intense workouts everyday (which wasn't healthy for me), my love handles are showing off a little bit, but my abs are toned so I don't really like the way my waist looks like rn (and also because I'm a girl, my hormones are messing up with my body currently haha). I can definitely feel the burn, and it feels good ! Thank you so much Gloria :)

    Doing this and posting real results (pls like to remind me)
    DAY 1: ✅ did it twice (Did it in the morning, definitely felt the burn, but wasn’t as bad as I thought)
    DAY 2: ✅ (still felt the burn, but wasn’t as hard as yesterday)
    DAY3: ❌ (had a busy day)

    I am going to try to do this workout 2-1 times a day, I am also trying an diet KINDA
    Day 1 🆗 it is so intensive omg waist is now 56 cm I ate eggs toast and an orange
    Day 2 🆗 56 cm
    ‼️PS THE DIET IM TRYING IS 80/20 I TRY TO EAT HEALTHY THROUGH THE DAY AND EAT WHATEVER AS DINNER‼️
    Day 3 🆗 55cm I have eaten 2 sugarless coconut cookies before because I couldn’t make breakfast
    Day 4🆗 I was tired today so I went less smoother 56cm
    DAY 5 & 6 SKIPPED BECAUSE I WAS REALLY BUSY AND TIRED
    DAY7 🆗 getting back into it , DIET WAS SHIT THO

    doing this cause I want to glow up since ive haven't been to school in ages because of my mental health I want to glow up!
    Day 1: THE START BURNED SO BADDD WTAF! loved it thought gonna do this everyday and ill try my best to update

    I'm going to try to do this for like a month, I also run a mile every couple of days, and I'm trying to eat healthier so I'm gonna track my progress on visuals because I don't know my weight and I don't really need to know!
    Day 1 : Not super bad but I fs felt the burn
    Day 2 : Ngl didn't rlly want to do it but I did it so yay
    Day 3 : Easier to do the plank for some reason but I don't see anything and not planning to until like halfway mark / couple of weeks or just a week
    Day 4 : I forgot to do it b/c i Had a lot of stuff goin on
    Day 5 : I did it and nothin special
    Day 6 : I don't see a lot but a little but it makes feel motivated that I did it I also took a 30 min walk today
    Day 7/ not rlly : I totally skipped 13 days b/c of school and stuff but im finally out and have free time so I'm starting it again, and I def felt the burn

    lolll i wan do an update to motivate mi self cuz I feel more motivated when pressured
    Day1 ✅: i feel like my core likes the pressure of doing these and the feeling afterwards lol I did this along w stretching for 18 mins so my body doesn’t feel super tight.
    Day 2: I DID IT YES I JUS FORGOT TO POST
    Day 3: break cuz I’m at a party loll but I drank garlic 🧄 and de bloated w another stretch vid
    Day 4: yes I did, I’ll do again later today too
    Day 5: in the morning yes
    Day 6: yes at night
    Day 7: I am doing currentlyyyy (my updates are sloppy my bad)

      UPDATEEEE I DIDNT DO FOR 3 days cuz of my period but I plan to do for today because my period only lasts a abr 3 -4 days
      (I do see a difference however, there is less of a pouch in my stomach and I can see the lines becoming more clear I’m excitedddd)

    Day 1: i skipped 1 of the exercises to take a lil break cuz i was burning hope it'll get better and i can lose weight at least a lil in 1 week
    Current weight :65kg around (14yrs)
    Day 2: my neck and shoulders hurt like hell and my stomach hurts when i laugh or cough but i did it today and i was less hard compared to yesterday,, hope i continue without skipping !
    Day 3: still same, hurts
    Day 4: i dont think i see a difference
    Day 5: burnt again but ok

    Hey Gloria, I love ur vids they have helped me a lottt like a lot but I did have one question do u have any recommendations for when my back curves like a bridge for example the exercise Lower Body Lift in ur video called 5 minute Flat and Toned Belly please I need help to have my back straight on the floor but it just curves but u can also do a video without any similar exercises like that if u don't know what to do but besides that I love ur vids keep it up : ) By, A fan who supports u : )

      Depends on your height, weight, and if possible, body muscle mass percentage, and body fat percentage.

      That’s true, however they can get an almost flat belly, if they have good genetics. If you don’t, then try getting a belly like this from the side: |) . This is possible for everyone. I will suggest some videos for you. Do not be too hard on yourself though.

      I have a workout playlist for your goals because we share the same goals so I will make it public. These workouts have worked for me in the past. I did it for 2 weeks, but I recommend doing it for 3 weeks once every 2 days (for example you do it on Monday, skip Tuesday, then do it on Wednesday). Please do the stomach vacuums too. I do 3 rounds of 30, but if that’s too hard, please start with something more simple. If you want to learn more about your goals/working out; watch these videos:

      That’s probably workout bloat. Try doing stomach vacuums at the end of your workouts!

      Crunches actually widens your waist, I recommend Shirlyn Kim’s workouts the Pilates one.

    So I weigh about 103 pounds, im just wondering if I need to loose weight for this because I saw something in the description about a calorie deficit and I don’t really want to loose weight.       Please don't hate your body. Thickness of your waist has strongly to do with genetics. Fat burn helps as well and using the correct workouts that does not build thick muscles in the sides is crucial.

      basically until you feel the results. depends on your diet and your genetics but do it for 3 months or more to really feel a change. you dont have to see it, but working out is great for your heart and mental health, so feeling the workout results will be more effective than seeing them in the mirror. trust the process, dont give up if you dont see results after a month or maybe two months, keep going, you got this xx

      They do not! Especially with body weight, it's impossible to build big muscles in the obliques that will thicken your waist.
