An easier way to tell if someone likes you a lot is that they make it a point to be in your life and to know how you're doing. They show genuine concern for your well-being even when it is not warranted or asked for... And then people self sabotage by not being honest about how they truly feel. I think the drive to be "polite" to others or being aggressive to avoid others equally turns people off from wanting to love or help other people and this is very common because one way or the other someone is always giving more to someone than the other and sometimes when you really need someone to care they just aren't there.

I notice immediately if a guy likes me... But I'm more on looking for a good friend than a romantic relationship. I try to keep a friendly boundaries to the point that I put distance between us and ending up loosing a potential friend just because I keep avoiding the fact that they're trying to confess to me.

There's a video by Dr. Helen Fisher, "the brain in love." Basically, sometimes being liked is not your choice...it's dependent on a lot of coincidence and time. It's dependent on factors like if your body produces chemicals, genetic signals that pair up well with another. So that person that pairs with you well needs to be proximate enough with you and for enough amount of time for their body to process your body's release of chemicals. It also depends on other factors like aligned values, interests, level of attractiveness, intelligence. So there are two types of responses in what make a person recognize if they like you: one is an instantaneous reaction from the body, subconscious, and not your choice i.e. does this person's chemicals work well with mine? The other takes a lot of time...it takes a lot of time to know what a person's values and interests are. So maybe it's not that you're unlikable, you are just yet to meet a person who both biological matches up with you + spends enough time to get to know you. I think my best advice to you in not having a crush nor being crushed on is to spend time doing things you like and building friendships. Romance will happen when you might not expect it :)

My crush, I’ve noticed he’s hugged me more than my friends recently, he’s been looking at me more often (maybe because he stole my water bottle again..), he also rests his head on my shoulder whilst hugging me, we usually laugh a lot together
Another thing we do is chase eachother, we boop each other’s noses and I’d say something like “HEY!” and he’d be prepared to run or is already running and I’d start running after him and when we get back to the fence I’d be drained and he’d be standing there happy
One time when I was holding my nose to refrain him from booping me, he decided to hug me and rest his head on me and wouldn’t leave until I took my hand off, he also has accidentally pinned me to the fence a couple (too many) times-
He also teases me when he takes my things, like my tie or water bottle, he takes it and lifts it in the air so I have to jump to get it or just runs away w it so I run after him, with the tie, he may do the same thing but he would sometimes ask for me to give him back his tie (if I have it) and so I would and he would give back mine

I notice immediately if a guy likes me... But I'm more on looking for a good friend than a romantic relationship. Something that I've noticed and I think it fills in the physical touch category is that everytime I have a hoodie or a coat anything that has a hood attached to it he likes to joke around and either put it on me or take it down. He does that with my hats as well and then puts it back himself.
He finds other reasons to touch me "accidently" or not but this happens on a regular basis. He also put a fake bird in my hair once and then took it down, it was cute.
He does other stuff on the list too but another thing that is pretty noticeable is he looks at me from across the room or a group while having a huge grin on his face, he looks very cute when he does this too.

There's a video by Dr. Helen Fisher, "the brain in love." Basically, sometimes being liked is not your choice...it's dependent on a lot of coincidence and time. It's dependent on factors like if your body produces chemicals, genetic signals that pair up well with another. So that person that pairs with you well needs to be proximate enough with you and for enough amount of time for their body to process your body's release of chemicals. It also depends on other factors like aligned values, interests, level of attractiveness, intelligence. So there are two types of responses in what make a person recognize if they like you: one is an instantaneous reaction from the body, subconscious, and not your choice i.e. does this person's chemicals work well with mine? The other takes a lot of time...it takes a lot of time to know what a person's values and interests are. So maybe it's not that you're unlikable, you are just yet to meet a person who both biological matches up with you + spends enough time to get to know you. I think my best advice to you in not having a crush nor being crushed on is to spend time doing things you like and building friendships. Romance will happen when you might not expect it :)

Why do I keep checking out this channel? It only reminds me of what I cannot and will never have. There is no human being that could even consider looking at me with more than pity.
