As a player who has only been playing for about eight months or so, that tip a out the added power connector is a revelation! Indeed the entire video is very helpful. Thank you for sharing from a new subscriber.
best part about finally figuring this out is noticing that settlers and npcs can't use them so it's useless unless you are building for your own character
I use DLC and Creation Club but nothing from the Mods menu, so if you have all the DLC then the floors you don't recognize must be from the Creation Club. Go to the world tab in the Creation Club for workshop add-ons.
I´m talking about the tiled floor pieces for example. They seem to be a part of the nuka cola workshop set. It sucks that you have to pay real money to unlock them though :/ @@NoModMaster
@LaFPholytrinity Yeah agreed, hopefully, they become free eventually. Some of the tile floors I think also come from Slocum Joe's set, but Coffee & Donuts can get the 0kb glitch unfortunately.
Thanks! You can use the thinner brick walls from the Creation Club with the short walls from vanilla. The barn walls can also be used just as the tall walls.
Unsure if I'll get any answer, but I used an Elevator and I did my own thing - using the Elevator as the Baseline of the entire 4 Story Structure, with no stairs.......and now when I call the Elevator to Floor 1 the buttons remain on Floor 3 and thus I had to build stairs outside the structure to Fallout Nerdpole my way from the roof and jump down the shaft to the third floor. Then when I selected the 3rd floor....The Elevator came to the 3rd floor and I had floating buttons on what I imagine the Elevator would've considered Floor 5 (if such a thing existed).... Is there a way to fix besides Storing, then gutting the structure so it'll snap back into place, and then replacing the structure? Cause if not I may scrap the entire structure and just ignore the Elevator all together to avoid the headache.
Unfortunately, that's something the elevators do sometimes. It doesn't happen very often and I've heard of some things that can even trigger it like jumping in the elevator or opening the pip-boy while it's moving though not sure if those are true. The best way to fix it is to delete the elevator and then place a power connector on a new elevator and try to snap it back into place.
@@NoModMaster the pylon that connects to conduit but I had to put down a pylan then connect a pipe first it was a pain but I was able to figure something out. Now I can get any of the ware house roofing stuff to connect. It's weird most will click but stays red so they wont stay.

Thank you! I'm glad I could help 😎
My man that is a genius use of conduits!!! Thank you!!!
Thank you! I've been playing fo4 since release but never got into settlement building a bunch, this all was extremely helpful!

They still go to the floors by auto-spawning there, but yes they don't physically use them unfortunately.
Dang!
Thanks a lot. I'm playing around with elevators and this helps.
I'm not much of an elevator guy but there are so e good tips here I'll have to remember.
You always elevate my spirits when I'm feeling down
@@EZEfallout Groucho did you hack EZE's account?
@@TheInsaneShecklador lol
This was a game changer thank you!
@@Liltrainerultraplays You're welcome! 😊
how about a lift for a concrete building plz?
Noce tips, appreciated. However still settlers won't ever use elevators right?
1:15 how do you unlock these special floors? I have all dlcs but not these items

Imdont get why they didnt make the elivator the hight of normal walls or add taller walls to concreat, this is driving me insane
I know, the concrete can be frustrating. Eventually, I'll see if I can figure something out for the concrete set.
@@NoModMasterthank god, please do. I was just looking for that exact set 💀
Will this work with the thinner creation mod walls? Great info btw, use of connectors between walls

I just wanna know how he got the glass roof to actually place mine is just red lmfao
Is there any chance you've reached the height limit where you are trying to build it?
@@NoModMaster yeah i did lmao i didn’t realize you couldn’t build that high at sanctuary
@jewbacca_3176 I had the same issue when I tried to build there, I noticed if you build next to the river you can fit 4-5 floors.

Love how prompt of a response I received even on a year old video! :)
I cant get the power radiators to link up with the conduit. What can be the problem?
The conduit power radiators with the little yellow light on them? Or the power pylons that connect to the conduit with a wire?

My floors won’t snap to the top of my existing walls :(
And I don’t have half-walls??
You're using double thick floors right? The thin floors won't work
@calebtar Half walls are part of the shack set under wood structures.
Thank you for responding. Helped me a ton man! Subbing
@@calebtar Glad I could help, and thanks!
do you have to have any dlc for this? AWESOMEVIDEO!!!
Thank you! You need Contraptions Workshop DLC for the tall walls and elevators.
How do you get a elevator
They come from Contraptions Workshop DLC
@@NoModMaster thanks
Instruction unclear.
I ust turned a mortar into an elevator bringing you 1 level up or down by crouching in it and moving it😂
They are very infuriating.
Yeah, especially if you use a Concrete material. It just leave a huge mess in between floors.
