Thank you so much for sharing, Ava. I'm currently beginning of my 20s and aspiring cabin crew as one of my dream job. With the reason of being a foreigner, there are a lot of things to prepare for remote working decision and my future career plan. I really enjoyed your cabin crew things videos. just wanna send you thankfulness from me :) Hope you a great and joyful journey!
Thankyou soo much for sharing all the information needed before joining the airline really helpful and my favourite part where you actually explain the salary structure and training part properly ❤
Greetings! I'm pleasantly surprised that you actually disclose the monthly salary as a cabin crew. Being a ground professional in an airline, I must say as a ground crew, our income is relatively stable but the progression can be slow, and as an executive, there's no OT pay. It seems like for a cabin crew, you earn what you work for. I had huge respect for all the crew who work through the COVID period.
Greetings from davud, Kampar Perak.I just started to watch your videos and i honestly must say, you are doing a great, down-to-earth and unbiased disclosure of ALL the experiences you have had! Well done and keep sharing as each episode, does help many,in one way or another. Last but not least, I seem to find your voice to almost be identical to another ex-SIA crew from Penang ie Miss Hazeline Foo. ha ha .I will continue to watch your useful videos.Ganbatte.( do your best in Japanese).
Hello?Do they hire ground staff from other Countries?I applied for a position with SIA "Trainee Flight Dispatcher"Is the interview process through zoom link? I'm working with QR and the interview was online.was wondering if they do a online interview
Hi Ava! I will be starting my journey as a cabin crew with SIA soon in frw months. So would like to know what are the medical rounds which happens before the training? Thanks in advance :)
Hi! Congrats ☺️ For me, my medical rounds were right after my interview before I got accepted for the job, so I'm not sure if anything has changed since then! I also can't really remember the exact tests we had, other than eyesight/hearing tests- sorry that I can't be of more help in this area but all the very best for your check! ✨💯
Hi, i hope this question comes to your notice. I am currently a cabin crew in different airline and want to try in SIA. I want to know if all new crew starts from narrowbody and move to boeing or is it random?? Can you share more infos on that please ??😊
Hi good day to you I would like to ask is it true that the SQ crew are mean and consider as a toxic colleague ? i’ve seen many ex sia crew said the same things after they left , and if it’s true how do you cope with a mean and toxic crew ?
Hi, in the course of our lives, it's inevitable to bump into people who aren't good to us. Just know that these moments come and go, especially as a crew, when you only see them for a few sectors :) The good news is that the great majority of crew are really nice, friendly and awesome people. So the general advice is.. don't let that 1 mean one get you down. Remember that you're awesome & amazing, and focus on how they'll be gone in X hours and you can explore a new city after work :) Stay positive and be kind always ♥
Thanks for the vlog. How are your allowance calculated for turnaround flights? Does the company work with any real estate agents to help new foreign crew source for rental apartments? I would think foreign crew who are new to Singapore will find it very challenging and time consuming to find accommodation as soon as they are hired.
Thank you 🙏 (When I was flying) turnaround flights were based on flight hours + a flat rate of $90. No we don't work with any real estate agents in particular. There are rental chats/groups created to help and foreign crew are great at connecting with one another so it usually isn't a big problem 😃
You have various components that make up your salary. Basic Salary , Flying allowances , uniform , transport and other allowances. The bulk depends on your flying patterns. Good luck.
You forget to mention the transports allowance, uniform allowance monthly, turnaround Allowance, hourly flight x2.5 if above certain hours etc ...
