Great video! I’m a cabin crew of one of the Middle East airlines. There’s opinion between crews that “if you’re a crew working for Asian airline, your enemy is your senior/colleague. But if you’re a crew of Middle Eastern airline, your enemy is passenger”. Cause in Middle Eastern airlines, everyone is treated equally regardless of seniority. There’s no “senior & junior”. But the passengers......... they feel like they’re kings & queens of the world.
This has been the experience of RUclipsr SuzieQ, who flew with Emirates. She said it was one of the main reasons she chose not to fly with a Korean airline, although she is Korean herself.

I also heard that is how it is with their most senior pilots and junior pilots as well. If anything goes wrong, the most senior pilot has steer the ship so to speak and juniors are subordinates who has to get approval. It’s not a equal team playing sorting of culture in the work place.

Common FA misconceptions: I dont know about others but there are sick guys that sees female flight attendants are "trophy girlfriends/wives" I know the profession is not for everyone and its a needle in a haystack for any applicants to be the chosen ones, but my god, these are just humans too doing a job, no point treating them as celebrity class just to show off with your social circle. Flight attendants are not all highly materialistic individuals obsessed with luxury goods, night parties and non stop travels. FAs are not all HIGH MAINTENANCE people. And no, NOT ALL female flight attendants are mistresses of pilots and first officers to satisfy their materialistic cravings. Love the video, really hits a spot me because I worked in the airline industry ever since I graduate years back.
People are commenting on their English, I'm sure they can speak proper English when required. Maybe they just wanted it to be more casual and fun for the video so why not right? 🙄
dont know why only us bother about proper english here in sg, msia. nobody care in rest of world as long they catch 70% of eng words when comm. in eng..
I think that, on the contrary, learning to offer everyone else drinks before you make your own sets you apart from others, as they immediately view you as special because you value others first before yourself. People are always astounded by the individual who stands out amongst her peers.
the Indian lady chin-patting is not because of being pretty - it is a typical north indian form of endearment usually used by Indian moms to show their affection. usually they do not do it to public strangers but perhaps the stewardess was helpful in stowing away her luggage and she was thanking her in kind. Nice to see Good to appreciate other cultures when you’re a stewardess of such a reputable airline. Kay is quite pretty and can pass off as a stewardess even now! 👍
I was crew with silkair before hated the briefing room shaking hands and saying names.Sucks.Nasty and dirty job with lots of nasty people hard to see some nice people.they are quick to judge and zappy crew.the senior crew need to eat first and junior must eat last of what is left.
Kay is the type of Cabin crew who is close to her heart , she speak with gentleness & will seal her lip Clarissa is a breath of fresh air, can’t keep secret much unless...happy for once & rmb forever . Make SIA great way to fly again

I have flown on many airlines and I can say that SIA is still the best. Even my country's national airline has yet to reach SIA standards in selecting their female crew. Both girls are pretty btw just that Kay seems introvert compared to the bubbly and comical Clarissa. Overall, I would prefer the Clarissa type of girl

Cabin crew scandals and extra marital affairs are the usual thing I heard about and they seem like a job risks. A cabin crew friend told me about a female crew who had an affair with another guy behind her boyfriend's back then got herself pregnant and had an abortion. I do not know if I should be scared to have a cabin crew girlfriend.
When you say that the cabin stewardess is very loyal while the cabin steward was the one with the wife. Either way they both still prove that the cabin crew are more inclined to promiscuity.
OMG I just realised the Red Colour one is the head female stewardessss. Also... Clarissa reminds me of Eugene from Penthouse when she does those reality shows.

ngl i was one of those that put my leg slightly out towards the isle on a long flight cuz my leg a little long and the knee cap is already starting to hurt. Tripped a few steward/stewardess while sleeping and felt kinda bad about it. Luckily non of them face planted though
