Sure us horror lovers may have loved it just for the cast, but if you think about the trailer and pull that vampire part out, I am not sure how intriguing it would have been. So she was pretending to be a swan when she was dancing.

The biggest issue with this movie is that they told you in the trailers she is a vampire, then spent over half a movie acting like the audience doesn't know what the monster / twist is.
I can’t wait to watch more movies with you!! You’re u are my new favorite!
I hate how even if u didnt watch the trailers, they made her a bloody little vampire on the cover art of the movie.. so theres basically no way u wouldnt know that shes part of it in some way
I hope they do a sequel too. They can do a Christmas Nutcracker one 😜
That would be great!
hey Mello it's Aira ...ur videos always crack me up😂😊
I've been waiting for this!
42:44 Actor Matthew Goode also played the role of Adrian in the movie Watchmen directed by Zack Snyder.
Alisha Weir was an absolute MENACE in this LOL she was beyond perfect. I found out in an interview with the directors that when she was dancing with the headless body, she just put the body's hand on her face like that out of nowhere! Like, the creepiest part of the flick was ad-libbed by a 12 year old LOL she was awesome. Then you throw in Dan Stevens, Kevin Durand and Kathryn Newton and I'm mad I waited so long to see this!
If they make a sequel they should simply call it “Abi II” with the II being fangs.
This movie rules! Frank was awesome
Renfield was a fun gory vampire movie too
12:58 I saw the movie with my dad, and I said the exact same thing
I thought I was the only one that put two and two together at 34:00
Fun fact: Trailers were actually made to come after the movie was released (hence trailer like for a vehicle) and I much prefer that because then you don't get the spoiler parts before you see the movie.
You're close but not quite. You didnt watch a trailer for a movie you just watched. Theyre called trailers because when you USE to go to theaters, previews for new upcoming movies were shown afterwards, hence why they're called trailers. Not before the movie like they are now. Has nothing to do with spoilers.
"Due to trailers initially being shown after, or "trailing", the feature film, the term "trailer" was used to describe the promotion; despite it coming before, or "previewing", the film it was promoting."
The Makers/Masters always have ultimate control of their progeny! js
That wasn’t it. She wasn’t a true vampire because she wasn’t sired. She was a ghoul.
@@SummerSolstice621 - yet if she was sired her sire would have ultimate control!
@@nemosays6337 If that was the case, Lambert would’ve saw that stake coming 😂
@@SummerSolstice621 - I suppose it's not an exact science, personally I love the Vampire lore having read Anne Rice as a teen and Dracula as a child, the supernatural fascinates me! ☺
This movie is a breath of fresh air.
Glad I never watch trailers or else the movie would have been ruined. And uhmmm....he named them after "friends?" Lord this generation....lolol. The Rat Pack was Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Sammy Davis Jr., Joey Bishop..and Don Rickles was a popular comedian back in the day...a real smart a@@.
Melissa Barrera did her thing in this movie. Horror is her bag
Loved the movie, yeah the trailer spoiled what was supposed to be a big reveal. That end theme song is awesome. Side note awesome shirt, I needed that in my late teen, early 20s years. Stop the friendzone action in its tracks
Woul've been so much better if they didn't tell you she's a fkn vampire ballerina in the trailer. Whoever made that decision really fkd up
This movie was wild lmao
this movie was such a surprise, was great fun
BTW the Dad was Dracula. The original title was "the daughter of Dracula"
We haven’t had a good vampire movie in a while and I was very happy with how this turned out! The actress who played Abigail was amazing.
I recommend the movie Byzantium. Another vampire movie but it is a different take on vampires. May be a bit slower paced but I enjoyed it 😊
I like it when you are jump scared.
It's interesting how vampires can control other vampires that's turned
I saw this movie in theaters & it was 🔥
you should watch 30 Days of Night😊 great vampires movie
I love your reaction so much! Rip Angus. Seeing him almost brought me to tears ❤ this movie was surprisingly really funny and gory! 🩸
Definitely one of the best I’ve seen this year! Thank you for watching it!👍💖☺️
2:07 Well it can be. I suppose some would say that modern ballet is expressional dance, but you have to express plenty with classical ballet.
What she was dancing to then was the main theme from 'Swan Lake' - a young woman who's turned into a swan and can only be human for a few hours every night. So she was pretending to be a swan when she was dancing.
I watched this movie with my parents it was amazing movie fr
I love all Underworld movies.
I saw Project X a long time ago when it first came out
Her father is Dracula. He changes his name regularly so he can continue to live amongst humans
Loved your reaction to this movie, man! 😂🔥
Loved your reaction as always. You should check out society of the snow. It's a great movie and I would love to hear what you have to say about that one. If you do watch it I recommend the original language with subtitles, the acting was amazing
Matthew Goode was ozymandias in watchmen. Dracula in this.
THAT'S WHAT IT WAS! Watchmen
They jump him 💀💀💀💀💀
Yesss I said Angus acts just like fez, they ain't give him no range
The problem is….how do you market this movie without the main hook being in the trailer? The mere concept makes this nearly impossible to not spoil. Even the title is “Abigail”
Would people be interested in large numbers if you painted it like a run of the mill whodunnit sort of thing?
Dont know, I guess. From a marketing standpoint its kind of a lose, lose situation.
Your reactions cracked me up 😂! I love this movie
When Sammy was dancing all I saw was Miley Cyrus
12:42 😂
The second you saw the android you should have known Abigail was a villain. Apple doesn’t let villains use iPhones.
That's interesting.
At first I was annoyed by the trailer too, but if they hadn't shown her vampire nature, a lot of people would have gone to the cinema thinking of a thriller and would have been really upset. Even though I knew about her special diet, I love this movie so much.
I went into this movie blind and loved it!
Please do both seasons of interview with a vampire. Season 1 has 6/7 eps and season 2 has 8, they are currently making season 3 but it is honestly a masterpiece and one of the best tv shows i have ever seen. sounds exaggerated? watch it and u will find out how right i am!
