I love Cherry Bomb for what it is, and it is in my top 3 for him. I agree that F**KING YOUNG/PERFECT SMUCKERS AND FIND YOUR WINGS are some of his best songs because gosh they are so beautiful. at the time, these songs were inspired by what he was listening which is some of the grooviest vibiest music. Yes some of the songs are bad (looking at you, keep da O’s) but gosh people gotta look past the bad songs. Okaga is gorgeous and there are so many catchy songs and beautiful instrumentals

goblin is my least favorite because it feels like the kid at school that isn’t funny but tries to be edgy. 4/10 i have the least attachment to bastard so i feel weird putting it any higher. 4/10 cherry bomb has some of tyler’s highest moments, but also a lot of the lowest 5/10 flower boy - overall low in my ranking, but one of my favorite albums ever. the instrumentals make me feel like i’m ascending and i first listened to it while i was questioning my own identity a lot. i think this record is partially held back by songs like “i ain’t got time”, “glitter”, and “dropping seeds”. 9/10 wolf- WHERE DO I START?? i think this album has the best replay album of any tyler album. so many songs here have beautiful instrumentals and even better performances from tyler and the features. however… the narrative starts to fall apart. for instance, in cowboy sam mentions wanting to ride slater, but thats wolf's bike?? inconsistencies like that hurt the album, but the highs are some of his highest. 9.5/10 **these records are tied for first** igor- this takes the unique elements of wolf, cherry bomb, and flower boy and amplifies all of them exponentially. i dont think theres anything i can say that hasn't been said yet, but theres a reason this is his most popular project. 10/10. CMIYGL- this song came out during a weird time in my life. i was going on vacation, but going with the knowledge that my grandpa would pass away soon. i think that perfectly fits the vibe of this project. luxury rap about living your best life, but with really sad undertones. tyler's rappinf ability is the best its ever been on here, and so are his lyrics. this is the best non narrative driven hh album in my opinion. and i saw it live a few weeks ago, which only made the album better in my eyes. 10/10.

man i cannot express how much tyler has effected me. even in my rankings, besides bastard and goblin, all of his albums are tied for me as my favorites, he got me into hip hop recently and just expanded my music taste in general, i'm now more open to listening to new music and i don't just only listen to the top tiktok songs, i really hate how that was all i listened to.
It took nearly 3 years for me to fully appreciate IGOR. I dismissed it at first because of how different it was from his previous works, but now I absolutely love this album.

for me goblin is just not a good follow up to bastard AT ALL, tries to capture the edginess of bastard without actually understanding what worked and it seems to pander to his fans more than bastard did, the edginess kinda just felt tacked on for the sake of being there, in bastard the edginess kinda drove the story

It's got that Neptunes influence, but goes on its own edgy, angsty, experimental path. The title track is still one of Tyler's best songs IMO. Lightning in a bottle Also maybe move Wolf above CMIYGL. MAN! All these Tyler, the Creator fans rank the same! Except you...who for some reason ranked an EP for a kids movie in the middle of Tyler's discography! My favorite album from Tyler the Creator is WOLF! Instant hood classic. It's the most expressive, emotional, beautiful album of his, EVER! He spits bars, he gets into his feelings, this is a roller coaster of emotions. The only songs i don't dig with are Trashwang, Parking Lot, and Slater. Answer is the best real personal song of his, ever! Flower Boy and Igor are close to Wolf's level, not gonna lie, but WOLF is a pure, messy masterpiece, idk. I'm not saying that his music is trash, he's my second favorite artist. But these rankings are so one dimensional.
Fun fact: the last song of Igor "Are we still friends?" has a perfect loop to the beginning of the same albums first song "Igor theme". There is a youtube guy who theorized why (i dont remember name) and he said because if Tyler is friends with this person he will end up falling in love again and the cycle will repeat with his love interest not being able to commit and thus its an infinite cycle.

My personal favorite is Call Me If You Get Lost. I was never a huge Tyler fan, and I definitely didn’t like IGOR as much as many other people, so I was shocked at how much I love Call Me If You Get Lost
I feel like you may be interpreting Rise! wrong. There are a lot of spots on the album where he talks about the love triangle and wanting to date her, but Rise! seems pretty clear cut since the whole song is about having his haters watch him succeed.

There’s just something about cmifygl that didn’t stick with me. That fucks me up so bad to say cuz I’m a fuckin GIGANTIC Tyler fan. I still love and appreciate it as a body of work but there’s just little replay value to it for me.. there’s songs on there I absolutely love don’t get me wrong but like almost every album he’s released before cmiygl I would literally play almost every fuckin day and I have SOOOOOOO many memories that changed my life with all of his albums before his latest… I’m not even gonna lie I can’t even imagine what Tyler could possibly do next for an album but I know he’ll blow me away like usual. I just kinda hope it’ll stick with me better than cmiygl 😅

I listen to bastard yet I keep forgetting since its not on spotify and for the grinch album I havent listen to the whole things yet but from what Ive heard so far its a 8/10. But all the tracks are still great

Fun fact: the last song of Igor "Are we still friends?" has a perfect loop to the beginning of the same albums first song "Igor theme". There is a youtube guy who theorized why (i dont remember name) and he said because if Tyler is friends with this person he will end up falling in love again and the cycle will repeat with his love interest not being able to commit and thus its an infinite cycle.

Idk I kinda liked goblin. golden was honestly a really crazy song for me and left me thinking about it for a while after I listened to it. Her was also a pretty deep song to me and how he was finally happy with a girl but then she gets back with her ex.

All around a W vid. Only things I disagree with is Okaga and Blow My Load bringing down Cherry Bomb. Thoes are probably top 5 for me on cherry bomb. The other thing is Flower Boy. I don’t know what it is but it just touch me like the others do. My personal Tyler Album list would look like this.

My personal favorite is Call Me If You Get Lost. I was never a huge Tyler fan, and I definitely didn’t like IGOR as much as many other people, so I was shocked at how much I love Call Me If You Get Lost

I feel like you may be interpreting Rise! wrong. There are a lot of spots on the album where he talks about the love triangle and wanting to date her, but Rise! seems pretty clear cut since the whole song is about having his haters watch him succeed.

There’s just something about cmifygl that didn’t stick with me. That fucks me up so bad to say cuz I’m a fuckin GIGANTIC Tyler fan. I still love and appreciate it as a body of work but there’s just little replay value to it for me.. there’s songs on there I absolutely love don’t get me wrong but like almost every album he’s released before cmiygl I would literally play almost every fuckin day and I have SOOOOOOO many memories that changed my life with all of his albums before his latest… I’m not even gonna lie I can’t even imagine what Tyler could possibly do next for an album but I know he’ll blow me away like usual. I just kinda hope it’ll stick with me better than cmiygl 😅

But all the tracks are still great
