All these EDC dumps and no one carries condoms. I've been laid way more than I've had to defend myself. Shake my head. Protect yourself before you wreck yourself
😂😂
All this talk of dumps has got me thinking, what about baby-wipes for EDC?
@@djkillcrazy, pffft. You wear t-shirts? All my old brown Army shirts are 4-6 inches shorter from cutting them to whipe my ass. 🤩
Well, a lot of those tacticool dorks actually have even less chance of getting laid than getting shot at.
“Shake my head”

"You'll have to consult my accountant, Mr. Smith." You won cheesiest dad joke of the year.
I wear anti-gun t-shirts to throw off the "bad guy"
I don't take it that far, LOL..... but I do wear surf or popular culture t-shirts often....my "urban" camo attire.....
grumpybill: just be sure to take those off when you go to the range though, or you'll be treated like a pariah 😆
Thomas Schoon but I don't at all look Egyptian.
In the winter I wear Flannel a lot and skinny jeans, I call it "Hipsterflauge." Summertime I wear button up short sleeve patterned shirts mostly seersucker of various colors, and Bermuda shorts and generally look like an Ivy league "Frat Bro." I live in a college town with plenty of Hipsters and Bro's so I kind of just blend in. If I wear a 2A shirt I'm out shooting or at home, I noticed people kind of looking for my gun when I wore them in public. Every time I see someone claiming to be a greyman they still look way too tactical and look like a plainclothes cop.
You do this looking for trouble, if your involved in any court action, you'd be crusifide. It says to me your hunting. You are feeding the anti gun mentality.
I usually leave my house in a armored tank with a backup Apache attack helicopter on standby. Lvl 2, i leave in a a10 warthog with surface to air missiles on the ready. Lvl 3, is an f22 raptor with a gunship on my 6. But that's just me.

But you forgot the flashlight. : D

I genuinely believe carrying a .357 in your sock is and always will be the most efficient way of concealed carry.

“If I can’t solve it with 30 rounds of 40 cal I’m probably having a bad day out” 😂
It's funny because I'm 19 and I have level 4 but not level 1. I understand why I gotta wait for my handgun but it's just kinda funny to think about sometimes. My friends are like "why do you have all these big guns?" And I'm like "Well. I'd buy a little one but I can't yet 😂"
Don't know about your state but here in Missouri I bought a Glock 29 and got a concealed carry permit when I was 19.
Your state might require 21 though laws a different in some of them.
Garrett Smith I'm pretty sure I can buy one from a private sale. Like just someone selling their handgun. But I can't buy one from an ffl dealer. I think that's a federal law. And I'm also pretty sure that you have to be active military or law enforcement to have a concealed carry permit under the age of 21. I might be wrong but I'd just rather not carry until I'm 21. Even if it is lawful, an officer that doesn't know the law could give me some trouble and potentially take me to jail or just take it from me. It's just my rule of thumb to not try to get a handgun yet. Gives me some more time to save and decide exactly what I want. I'm in Texas btw
Well I'm 20 and not Military or LE and have a Missouri CHL. And I got it when I was 19. That's just the law here anyways. Also you can carry in Missouri without a permit legally as long as you are at least 19, but I got a permit since there are less locational restrictions with it. Now military members are allowed to carry at 18 so that's the difference. Non-Military must be 19.
And I've gotten stopped by the police twice when carrying and they said it was allowed. One of them did check the number on my gun though.
Damn, I was gonna buy a gun but I'm Mexican so I guess I need just stick to my switch blade. Ése 😆
THAT'S A SWITCH.
Fucking guy, was gonna watch the video but first thing I see is a racist ass skit that isnt funny in the slightest bit... smh
John Johnson a youtube badass, never seen that before! 😱 am I supposed to be scared cuz u called me a pussy? That shit was not funny, he should stick with gun info and stay away from comedy.
Yeah the beginning was fucking stupid

WHAT IS TACO BELL.?? JUST BAD MAKE BELEIVE MEX.FOOD....
Being from Detroit level four is our EDC....lol
Damn Right! Every store has bulletproof glass for a reason. Take a five-minute drive out of the city, that shit's non-existent
Went to Detroit for a week for work and was taught the , “ No cop, no stop” method my first day there. Shits no joke down there.
William Luke yeah we can be pretty rough. To be honest, there are worst cities out there, but I can’t stand how a lot of these Gun channels act as though everyone lives in the suburbs and have no chance of encouraging a gun worthy situation.
Matthew Bran yea that can def be annoying. But there are most definitely worse cities around. Gun channels can hit the mark perfectly other times, it’s we all live in the suburbs like you said.
Shit hole 😂
The hard part is hiding the saw in my pant-leg.
RED MAMBA I’ve had my leg amputated and a custom made M249 holster made to fit into a prosthetic leg. It’s a bit of a hassle going through metal detectors, and the rattle of ammo draws a few stares at church, but the handicapped parking is worth it by itself.
“One mag is none, two mags is one”.... Tom Estep
Nice job. I couldn't agree more. People get a little carried away with edc stuff!
Kevin B It's better to have it & not need it, than need it & not have it...
"carried" away, eh?
I personally disagree. If you carry edc you should absolutely carry medical as well 0 excuse for not having medical! My edc has always consisted of weapon & weapon light, 2 mags, hand held flashlight (microstream), TQ, med gloves, knife, phone & most of all proper TRAINING! JMO & only matters to me.
Depending on where you are going, carrying more than you need is better than carrying less. If you are comfortable carrying two weapons why carry one. Carrying what you can successfully conceal and comfortably carry is the trick.
You’re the first person to truly make sense about every day carrying. Thanks!
you forgot level 5: full juggernaut, armor on every side, ifak, loads of ammo, helmet, full set up. that's for the battle setup
"you're about to make a poor life choice son" that's the most Eastwood thing I've ever heard lol
Certainly gives me (an enthusiast thinking about concealed carry) some perspective on the actual use of concealed carry. Thanks for the video.
I personally use my flashlight more than any other edc item...
Travis NYE truth
100% agree, older eyes need more light to do routine things
Same here......while I never carried a light or blade up until a few years ago, I am surprised at how often I use both tools........
Light second for me. Fisher Space Pen gets the nod just a tad bit more than the light and knife.
oooops, messed up... my "Tactical Pen".
Travis NYE
Absolutely agree with you!
The hand held light is a MUST have for edc for a plethora of reasons!

Vid was very funny and then you got real Professional, I like that you can have a little sense of humor and yet give good professional advise. And level 4 just look awesome but you may want to get a few bigger plates. You have grown a little sense your combat days. respect.
You got the "stop drop and roll" thing down. I live in Chicago. I carry my G26 every day. I keep a blowout kit in my briefcase. My truck has more stuff incase I need to walk home. I think Juarez may be safer than some parts of Chicago.
How do you conceal carry in chicago? I thought that was illegal? I'm from one of the chicago suburbs.
Shhhhhhh

Great video. Never understood how those “pocket dump” people could stand to carry so much shit in their pockets. I try to carry little as possible
This guy just naturally talks like he’s out of breath

"If I can't stop it with 30 rounds of .40 cal I'm probably having a bad day out" XD I laughed so hard at this
Loved your video. A lot of those who "are ready for anything" really cant do anything.
There two kinds of people that go minimalistic like Clay: the really really experienced and the dum dum. Most of us fall somewhere in the middle, so carry what makes you feel safe or prepared.
This is probably the best explanation of how to responsibly carry . Great video and love the humor with the lesson. Keep the videos coming
“ I may be out of my neighborhood but you’re out of your league” 😂 I love it
The beginning had me in tears lmao. That roll on the ground 😂
Question. Your G34 looks compensated, but also has a light on it (meaning you prob carry it at night). Wouldn’t that compensated top flash blind you at night?
He doesnt carry it at night, most of his setups dont make practical sense. I saw him build a rifle and he put the gas tube upside down. Not sure how he managed to do that, but he did. Also the comps on the guns that ive shot havent been too bright, the main problem is the concusion/sound and the reliability
I was always skeptical about people who have 9 items for their EDC. This guy helped me prove my point: carry based on your environment. Great video!
I must've missed this last year but the intro was worth the wait; bloody hilarious!!!
I carry a g19 IWB and I’ve gotten tired of it lately in certain situations. I kinda wanna pick up something more compact to go to more ‘1st level’ carry. Great video. Hilarious intro.
Same. Glock 19 for years and have been getting tired of it at certain times. Just picked up a 43. Havent started carrying it yet till I funtion test and then order a holster.
I daily a g26, it’s basically just a g19 but smaller. That and one spare g19 mag and I’m good. Easily concealed, and a big boy mag for a back up.
My summer carry is a Kahr CM9. It's smaller than a G43 and reliable.
The only thing is the trigger is super long, but light, like a well tuned double action from a revolver.
@@SamP0rterBridges man to man, why would you even want something smaller then a 43? And how many vuelta you hold, 3?
i just bought a g19 gen 5 for work but I'm definitely getting a hk vp9 sk

Thank you for the video. You explained things that I have always felt and thought about but have never put into words. Well put.
Lol thank you! These videos of guys who carry (supposedly everyday) 2 pistols, 6 knives, a hatchet, first aid kit, water filter, para-cord, multi tool, flashlight, back up flashlight, lock pick kit, ect, ect, crack me up.
Level 5: common sense... thanks for bringing back some sanity.
Hi Clay, I would like to know the brand of plate carrier that you have here in the video? Great Video.
Velocity systems
I love your humor and admire your sincerity. I am a hispanic and no I am not the least bit offended. I will be following you in a quest to learn a thing or two. I am no stranger to conceal and carry, but you can never ever learn enough, thank you.
When you bent over backwards to shot made my day😂
I carry a S&W Shied 9 and I always throw my spare magazine in an empty pocket. If I have to shoot out a mag (8 or 9) I would like to slip the spare one in while I make sure there are no other threats. I need a good edc knife and tactical light to be completely prepared and satisfied. All of this is easy with the cargo shorts I usually wear. I agree some of these guys make it way too complicated but I feel that an extra mag, knife and small tac. light is minimal and the basics nn
And we deal the drugs lmao that bit was hilarious
I like that you show your different levels of carrying. Very informative video. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks so much for the video! I align with a lot of your thoughts......my personal defensive tool of choice 90% of the time is a G42 (mostly because I shoot it accurately, and it conceals very well). When traveling, or camping I will carry a full size as my secondary.....
Really fun intro, good information presentation, thanks. Subbed.
Paracord bracelet and a tactical ball cap screams, I'm a CC holder-shoot me first, Mr Robber. Thanks
Don't give the robbers too much credit. Most barely have an I.Q. above 85 and only think greed not tactics.
Barry Allen True but if I were to rob someplace and I saw a bunch of normal guys and girls wearing casual normal clothes, and then a guy wearing an AR15 shirt with an NRA hat, I'm watching him or going after him first. I am very passionate about the 2nd ammendment but showing everyone with your apparel and gun stickers on your truck makes you a target to these people. The normal looking guy is going to be overlooked with everyone else and be able to stop the threat much quicker than that tough guy who wants everyone to know he carries guns.
HookedOnTheBay: I heard a term from some guy somewhere on RUclips I think, be a 'gray man'
ray hanes Don't forget the g shock watch, it's a must have.. Oh, and chap-stick. All these tough guys mortally afraid of chapped lips.
@@hookedonthebay3890 parking lots outside "gun free zones" must be great for criminals looking for free guns, just look for the trucks with the NRA/Hornady stickers 🤔
I’m glad to hear a professional like you underscoring my philosophy. I also like thinking of environments as level 1, 2 3, 4. I live in level 1 and my ego sends me to level 2. LOL
I'm happy someone has FINALLY said it. I see these pocket dumps and my first though is "Are y'all trying to completely fill EVERY pocket and crevice on your person?!"
Gun (and holster), utility knife, phone, keys, wallet, and watch.
I never believe the amount of crap people dump out during edc checks isn’t staged/they knew the check was coming. That being said, I am also surprised by how few people carry a pocket knife. My grandpa always had one on him, my dad always has one on him, I’ve always had one on me, not for fighting, but for general tasks. I use the thing almost daily, and dont understand how people get along in life without one.
Woah I didn't expect you to be in Idaho
Represent!
Brayden Miller ik exactlyy what gun range your at! Hell yeah! (Im from idaho too)
Great video, loved the common sense. Keep it coming.
I'm glad I watched this video. I thought it looked goofy at first but it's actually spot-on.
Good to hear this from an actual operator and not a gun nut.
Oh really, dang. This dude was special ops?
Hes not an operator and he is a gun nut. He literally has his fly open in most videos, no homo
Operators are gun nuts, dip shit.
Fake gun sound overlays?
That’s Venezuelan level right there...
You comment will not go unappreciated. This almost made me piss myself. Lmao
Awesome video man! I thought it was just me with the carry world crazies. You presented very good information and did it with a quirky sense of humor. Way to go. You got yourself a new subscriber!
This is the first realistic carry I've seen on YT. Thank you Bro!
That intro was hilarious.
Larry Robinson that intro feeds into stereotypical racism and you agree because you have racist views
+Orlando Salvador what!? Nothing stereo typical about this if you live in Albuquerque, NM. Some bitches cause a lot of trouble here. 85% of the wanted people here are Mexican. I have no problem with Mexicans just a fact that they cause a lot of trouble here.
Reminded me of Barney fife
That's interesting. I live in the "warzone" in ABQ and never have a problem. I walk the streets daily without a gun. Maybe you're just a punk bitch, ese.

@Comrade Kong Apparently you've never had one apart to see why they are what they are. Machined sear engagement surfaces that rotate on heavy pins- not stamped assemblies that twist under torque. If you understand what you are looking at, you will see the inherent durability. Doesn't much matter where it comes from- quality is quality. Trying to ridicule that which you are not familiar with does nothing to make you appear intelligent.
Yes...the Mod 2 fits nicely!!! You get 13 shots from that fat boy, too!!!👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽

Thanks, I am hitting the road to your area (eclipse watch) and was torn on what to pack while camping. Was going level 2-3 plus AR15/M4 after I got really scared during night trip through Louisiana (Quentin Tarantino dusk to dawn situation). I got caught in a place I should have not been in at midnight getting gas. I love my H&K VP9, but it will be a chore to carry for a week in warm weather. Going with my Taurus Millennium PT111 Gen 2 9mm. 147gr HP +P. EDC, Benchmade small emissary, and olight single cell aaa and Taurus 9mm gen2. PT111.
I have avoided these videos because I thought it was going to be another guy who carries half of their arsenal and a M.A.S.H unit in their pants. Very sensible and well done. Subscribed.

I started watching this video and said to myself "someone is a little fond of himself" but I knew this was parody. Thanks for the info. I personally just started carrying 6 months ago. At night I carry a knife and tactical light and they have proved handy. I was walking my dog in my neighborhood after dark and a couple of teenagers came up on me. It was clear that they wanted to surprise me.
As I shined the intense light in their eyes I asked them if they wanted the dog, the knife or some 9mm. Never seen them again.

Just look up plate carriers, there's quite a few out there.
My EDC gear.... Smith & Wesson M&P 9C IWB Alien Gear with 12 + 1 onboard and a spare 12 round mag beltline (total 25 rounds); Redline flashlight (use it frequently); Shark folding knife (use it multiple times a day); small multi-tool (use it frequently); caribiner key ring with a few small tools (use it often).... That's my EDC, everyday, all day, without fail..... carried concealed since 1982. I don't "tailor" my carry to "zones" ... I don't "download" at home .... or "light load" in "safer" zones.... whatever a safer zone is. Not knockin'.... just what works for me. I'm not military, not a veteran, not present or past LEO.... (all of which I highly respect)... just how this Baptist Pastor rolls.... everyday, all day. YMMV... and that's OK! ;-)

True. Context allows the religious to justify ignoring their religious texts whenever they feel like it.
1111aaa2222: You should read the Bible more. Christians are taught to "Resist the devil, and he will flee from you." I carry what I think I will need to resist evil in this world.
GunsAmerica, thanks for injecting a little common sense into the concealed carry discussion. Also, thumbs up for the plateframe. We tried to get the go ahead to acquire some a few years ago but we were told to paint cats.
Great video. Subscribed. That intro had me laughing out loud on a Sunday morning!! No nonsense straight to the point talk. Nice work. I know exactly which of my guns I'd carry for EDC, now the only obstacle is moving out of LA County. But if we ever do, I have my EDC gun/s of choice (my P365 or Sig P239) and IWB Vedder holsters ready. Until then, my Sabre pepper spray will have to do.

Great intro !! Funny as hell ! Plus some good info after.Tthis is the 4th video I watched and this one actually has decent info. Didn't think it would have considering the comedy intro but was pleasantly surprised !
I've carried one of the aaa streamlights for like 6 years not much bigger than a tube of chapstick and super useful. I don't remember the model and can't read it on the light because it's been in my pocket so long it's pretty much all shiny aluminum but still works like a champ

I am from Southern California (Logan Heights, Chicano Park area) and I am of Mexican decent. I was not offended by the intro and I never gave it one thought. It’s called humor, folks. Get some!
Finally someone who isnt a snowflake. in 2019 much respect.
I do carry a flashlight. It takes 1 AA battery and will give me about 8 hours of light with an alkaline battery. Lithium battery gives me 330 lumens for 2 hours. Cost me $20 at Target, 130 lumens with alkaline battery. Weighs 3 ounces, 4" long 1" wide.
I carry a flashlight because more than once I have been in places where the power went out. One time was in a parking deck at night. Emergency lighting was barely adequate.
Just nice to have some light available when the power goes out, especially if you have to navigate steps.
You have fantastic, relevant videos. Keep up the good work. As far as concealed carry, single stack 8 round 9mm, 1 spare magazine. Out of town 4" 9mm 2 spare magazines.
Just came across your channel, love your nonsense /realistic approach,
And that you are a fellow Idahoan is just a Bonus.
Keep them coming
I moved from the Torrance/Lomita area to Nor-Cal... Humboldt County years ago.
Not safer.
I tend to carry a 442 apx Lt side, G29 or G19 Hip Rt side, Emerson commander Rt pocket, pen and light Lt pocket, and Leatherman on the belt. I'm in Cali so it doesn't matter what firearm I have, I'm limited to 10 rounds. I'm strongly considering replacing the 442 with an 8 shot 327.
I've been stabbed at an ATM and attacked at my front door. Someone shooting over our fire at night while camping and guns pulled on me twice. OK, once the gun was in a gal's hand and security already had her pinned against the wall but the gun wasn't secured yet. The other time three guys pull a gun on me and a couple of friends in a bar parking lot while we are celebrating a Bachelor Party. I was young then, no CCW but when the two carloads of buddies arrived the dude put away his revolver. (Case made if you're a good guy... you might want that G34/35 with more capacity)
Shit happens, be as prepared as YOU think necessary, thats the point of my long-winded post.
I've got to say I totally disagree about the flashlight. A flashlight will solve more problems in the civilian world than a pistol. Not saying don't carry a pistol just saying a flashlight is a great tool.
Use mine more than anything

This video was refreshing man. It's funny to me how people with real life combat experience have a very practical approach to edc versus the internet heroes that are strapped to the gills. Also, it's amazing to me that the endless RUclips soldiers out there do video after video about the gear they are packing and not one of them ever talks about learning self defense that doesn't involve lethal force. I'm all for responsible concealed carry, but everyone should do themselves a huge favor and visit a quality jiu-jitsu, krav maga, etc instructor.
It’s funny how the perspective is different when it comes from because someone who has actually been to combat.
You should do standup, you have a great sense of humor.
Dude, that intro was hilarious
*watches the first minute of video* “Bro stop being a badass” 😂
I was an operator for 14 years and retired in 2006. My EDC is a midsize with 15+1 and two mags. My SHTF plan is 'mag dump then call an Uber.' I then lay down suppressing fire (another mag dump) as we drive away.
as a Hispanic male.. i find his portrayal of the young mexican gangster offensive!but after seeing this guys over the backs shots and the tactical barrel role....i know hes gotta be black ops.i will stick around and learn a thing or 2!
"Low vis operator", "Specter Gunship on station", I think I'll be sticking around and learning a few things here too.
I agree, it was unnecessary

Good sensible video. I survived three deadly attacks during my 30 year career but only carry a .380 w/a spare mag or a J Frame revolver in retirement w/one reload. At 74 I no longer go after bad guys and my daily orbits are pretty tame. Somewhere common sense has to come into play. Big, heavy guns will eventually be left in the car (terrible idea) or at home.
Hey I'm latino and I think the intro is HILARIOUS! also the final "jump" back into his work bench was gold 🤣🤣🤣
