So great to see this! We like to regularly season our little griddle, and it's good to find out how folks approach something much more serious like this.
Time to get you a Gas Griddle. Gas Griddle's are taking over the gas grill market.
What did you do to get the Errf error to stop? I got a 17” Loco for camping and sometimes it works but most of the time I’m having to babysit it and constantly relight it.
Thanks for making this video. I’ve been seriously considering the Loco. Question for you… did I not hear you correctly and/or missed how you set the right temp knob? I thought you had all three on sear and the right side was only temping at 375 degrees while the other zones were around 500? Curious if you’ve had inconsistencies with the zones. Thanks!
I think it was my crappy Blackstone thermometer. I think after this video I ordered a better quality IR thermometer. I have temped all 3 burners close to 600 degrees. So far it's worked really well. They are a little pricey over a Blackstone but I think it is a little better quality than the Blackstone. You are also paying for the thermostatically controlled burners. I would buy it again
@@griddlecookeatandmore Didn't your new IR thermometer show 320 on the right side?
@@yambor44 the very far right is a cool spot. Check out this video I just made showing how the griddles heat up with bread.

Nice video. I’m thinking about getting this griddle. Is wind an issue with this so far? Cheers!
So far I really like the griddle and it is well protected from the wind. You should definitely consider the Loco.
Looked like it would be a good video full of information but after 3 minutes I had to turn it off due to the distracting and annoying music. Thanks for the effort but I couldn’t concentrate on you talking with the unnecessary noise in the background.
Thanks for trying.
Same here... looks like a great and informative video but the background "music" is just too distracting/annoying.
I just bought mine today and they changed the grease catch tray. It’s round now and much bigger
I've seen that. They also updated the burners and put dividers between them to help with zone cooking.
I am looking at buying a Loco and haven't seen many reviews on it. Would you recommend buying it over another brand? Thanks
Would I recommend the Loco over other brands is a good question. I have had 12 Blackstone griddles over the years and still have 4 of them. I was wanting to buy the new Blackstone Pro series 36" but I could never find them in stock. So while checking Walmart every time I'm there to see if they got a pro series in I saw something on the Loco online and started to research it. My local Ace hardware had them in stock and one on display so I went to check it out. I liked it and decided to buy it. I really like the Griddle and some of its cool features over the Blackstone. So here is the deal in my opinion. I would recommend the Griddle but I have no complaints about Blackstone griddles. I think it comes down to what you want to spend. The Loco is $799 and you can get a 36 Blackstone with a hard cover for $327. I wanted a nicer looking griddle for my patio I am having done. I do think it is a little better quality than a Blackstone. There is bunch of griddle brands to choose from. I see Pit Bosses ceramic griddle is becoming really popular. Overall I have no regrets for buying the Loco and really dig the thermostatically controlled burners. As I said before it is all about what you want to spend.
@@griddlecookeatandmore Thank you for the thorough reply.
No don’t . Gets dirty as crap . Had to send me a new plug , didn’t work . Haven’t been able to use it and now showing error and turning off
How about cooking smash chicken?
I could do a smash chicken.
Do you have to season it every time before you cook?
No you don't. What I do is after cleaning put a thin coat of oil down. This will overtime build up a great seasoning on the griddle.
Music low and behind is nice. Music with vocals while trying to listen to what you have to say isn't.
I hear yeah. I will keep the vocals out. Thanks for the feedback.
Any videos on the grease tray for the loco
I thought I showed my mod for the grease trap in this video.
@@griddlecookeatandmorewatching to see the modification
4 minutes in and I’ve already learned that the grill isn’t hot enough to melt his truck. We checked that twice. 🙄
What was the red spot?
It was a glare from this sun.
@@griddlecookeatandmore Thanks, would have bothered me for weeks...haha
I had to watch it again. I kind of remembered it but after seeing it again it came back to me.
Tongs, for the love of God
Don't need no tongs just have to be mindful when you do it. Thanks for watching.
Take out the background music.
Too late
I have until the 6th to return this crap grille . Just keeps going to error 😢
Sorry to hear that. My griddle has been great.
Just a suggestion, kill the music… especially music with singing. I can barely hear what you’re saying over the music. Not to mention it’s just not needed.
I know. I've changed it up since then on my videos. When I edited it on my computer it did not seem like the music was that loud.
