I would say 2 to 3 cooks. I normally hook it up to a 20 pound tank. I'm looking at getting a 5 pound tank that is easier to transport.

I think I saw your post on Reddit recommending this. Thinking I'm gonna pull the trigger and get the 21" version like you have. From my understanding, I can use it inside. I was looking at either getting the Blackstone 22" e-griddle or the Ninja Sizzle, wasn't really thrilled with either of them. Glad to have found your post about this.

What type of scrub pad do you use? Also, I am wanting to use this in my apartment since they don't allow outdoor grilling, how smoky does this get indoors?
Thanks for watching. I was using a green scrub pad like this Scotch-Brite Scour Pads a.co/d/inonymt and sometimes I use a metal scrub like this Scotch-Brite Dish Scrubbers a.co/d/0rFJzyH. As far as being smoky it is not an issue. The only time it was too smoky was when I made some steaks and had the griddle at 550 degrees. Most people season their griddles but I wanted to treat mine like a restaurant griddle and clean it. This griddle makes the best Smash burgers. Being a non seasoned griddle you get that dark rich crust that really makes the burger soo gooood. I highly recommend this griddle. I use it a bunch and really enjoy it. They did not pay me for any of my griddle videos. They did send me a knife sharpener that I reviewed. I did set up a link for the griddle and I get 5% commission. I absolutely love the griddle and use it a lot especially in the winter. I did use the Blackstone a bunch and wore off the non stick on it. The Vevor you do not have to worry about that.

You definitely need too do smash burgers of some sort.
Just started a new 36” from ace purchased 12/28/24, and my burners are having this issue. The burner is backfiring and igniting the fuel mixture in the Venturi and igniting the gas directly from the valve. If you look from below the front shroud you can see the flame igniting right from the valve. I took the front shroud off and noticed the air shutter was opened slightly more than the other burners. I closed the gap to match the other burners, and am getting the same result, then another burner started to do the same thing. My concern is the fuel ignition directly from the valve, this is not normal in any burner configuration for LP or natural gas.
I truly think it's the burner tubes. The 1st one I bought would pop and blow the burner out. The one in the video is a lot better but still fairly noisy compared to pretty much any other gas griddle or grill.
@@griddlecookeatandmore I agree about the burners, I swapped the valves to different positions on the manifold to see if that condition would follow the valves, but the same burners acted up again. I think I’m experiencing what your original grill was doing, sounds way louder, like a propane weed burning torch or torpedo heater. The burners aren’t obstructed internally, and I cannot see anything out of the ordinary visually, when looking at the stamping of the burner as well as the burner ports size and layout.

I'm pretty sure you are the king of smash burgers Doug. That seasoning is pretty good. I used some on my smash burgers last night. I'm not a fan of tomatoes as well. Looks darn good. Never heard of it however. Another great one buddy.
The Delidinger was the greatest thing Denny's ever had and too bad they took it off the menu. It's the Vevor that makes the difference in the smash burgers.

Delidinger was the absolute best. When it went away, it was the beginning of the end, really. Went from Denny’s every three miles to only two left in the entire city, here. I blame the Delidinger, completely. Not the groups of teenagers that hung out only drinking coffee for ten hours every night. Hahaha
So true. I remember the teenagers stopped by coffee and would order water with lemon and would take up tables and not spend any money. Denny's got wise and started charging for lemons. I ate many Delidingers at 3am in the morning. I cannot remember the last time I have been to a Denny's. Thanks for watching.
@ I was one of those teenagers. We had code words with the staff. "Ryno Water" was Sprite in a water cup, "Hold the Parsley" was "hide free mozz sticks under the fries". The guy who owned the location closest to us still owns one about an hour away. We all still get together there once every few years over the past 25 years.

Wife just got hers. No instructions on tje first cleaning. We don't have that scotch brite, so I think I'm a just gonna try water and lemon juice I guess.
The 1st cleaning just use dish soap and water. The scotchbrite is for when it gets really dirty
I think you have the burners upside down? The holes by the igniter are supposed to go down.
I have had them both ways and it does not make a difference in the temps. The owners manual tells you one way and there is a video from Camp Chef saying to install them opposite of the owners manual.
I’ve seen plenty of reviews of this griddle and your temps were way off compared to those.
Mine are low for sure. It's kind of cool to have a griddle that will stay at 300 degrees and a little under. I also have a Halo griddle so if I need high heat I got it..

I just did 4 different soups this last week in my slow cooker for the freezer for Darrins lunches the next few weeks but I did not make a beef chili, now I need to lol... looks fantastic Doug 😊😊😊
You definitely should it's Chili Season. So many things you can make with chili. I'm eating Tortellini soup as I write this. I have been thinking of the Pepperoni Pizza Crunch wrap.
@griddlecookeatandmore It's definitely soup season 😀 in my freezer I've got the following soups... split Peas and ham, chicken Tortilla, chicken pot pie, and chicken chili 😋 I've never made a tortellini soup, I've had it just never made it... lol... now it's on my list next to chili...I can't wait to see how you make the pizza wrap fusion!!!!

That is how I like them. I've done it since my 1st Blackstone in 2011.
I used to work there and make the tacos and other food. I also used to make the meat. 1987. In-A-Tub N. Oak trafficway. We used to go ride 3 wheelers with the old owners. We knew them pretty well and have eaten there since the 70s. Big secret, there's a lot of soybean mix in there. Also for the real cheese, not the fake cheese on top, you put it in the shell before you drop it in the deep fryer. you use hair clips, aluminum hairclips to hold the taco together while you deep fry it. We did not add water, or seasoning. Just salt and pepper that I remember. They were white corn shells, thin. Grease was hot. the tacos should set upright. We did not pr-efry the shells, the meat was in a bowl, used a spoon to put it on, cip it, dropped it. Use a knife to cut open teh taco when it comes out, lettuce and sauce. cheese sprinkle. The cheese does not make it KC style, that is just an In a tub thing. The real cheese is inside the shell. There were also meat bean and cheese tacos.
