Hi all, I am considering buying one of these for basic DJ practice + organising my rekordbox. I normally play in clubs on CJ's 2000's or 900's , considering how cheap these are I thought might be a good shout to use with rekordbox to set up basic cues + playing around with transitions, has anyone out there tried this? do the rekordbox settings on the DDJ200 transfer nicely to the 2000's/900's? thank you
What's a good controller to upgrade to after this? Just for like family functions and small events. I would like one that has the direct plug-in as well not the splitter.
Hey man right off the bat I just got my controller today and I have to ask a a beginner how do I find music that I can start with, cause for s ok me reason alot of my songs won't load.
I would buy the course immediately if it costs 20 USD, I will consider it though despite it is a lot of money to me. Not underestimating the value of the course. Just how much I am willing to pay right now to any course I guess. :)
Is your set without subscription. Im not interested in monthly payments & use without pad phones or app. Just Music library on external hard drive, macbook pro, DJ-200, and free version rekordbox. Is that possible?
Somebody know why when i push the transition fx button it's nothing change? is still off (no reaction) im using rekordbox and this is my first day with ddj 200
Android sadly is always lacking in features on almost every DJ application. A combination of Android's poor audio drivers and the fact the app needs to run on expensive and cheap hardware means we never see DJ applications running at their full potential. It's super frustrating we agree, it's one of the reasons Holland swapped from his Samsung Galaxy's back to an iPhone
Anyway i really want a ddj 400 but cant afford 1 atm so I'll learn the basics on rekordbox then wen i can afford a ddj 400 i wil upgrade, possibly trade the ddj 200 if its possible.
Marquis Jelks sorry don’t have a link but I have DDJ 200 but I use a laptop but need to upgrade the DJ set soon but I don’t mean upgrade to antiheroes set of songs I mean the actual DJ Set.
You can download rekordbox for free ;) then you just have to plug your ddj 200 in your laptop. After that, at the bottom of your laptop screen, you'll find the loops/cues/fx/sampler buttons (you will have to click on them during your mix as it is not directly on the hardware)
The DDJ-200 works with personal computers and mobile devices. Registering and connecting the controller gives you access to more features, in the Rekordbox and WeDJ software....

The Inpulse 500 is covered by our Serato DJ courses. We don't plan on creating a DJUICED course at the moment but who knows what the future may hold!

My DJ-200 keeps disconnecting from WeDJ on my iPhone. Do you know how to prevent this?
I had this and took me ages to get an answer. Update your IOS to the latest version, there was an issue with Bluetooth connectivity in the older IOS
Avoid android, just update to the latest version of iOS and this issue should be fixed :)

It works on pc and laptops, but you have to use rekordbox 6
