I work in the tree business and we were clearing a deadwood tree and I thought I had a good grasp on a limb to throw it into the chipper and it snapped when I yanked on it and my ass hit the safety bar on the chipper… so I didn’t die

Fun fact there is no fatalities with quicksand or at least quicksand directly as the leading cause because people are indeed buoyant and can float so as long as you are not dense like a rock you should be fine if you sink down really far just relax lay back on your back and just do a slow backstroke almost like you're making a snow angel with just your arms
