Hi everyone,
Just want to give a S/O to an up and coming fan channel Oasis Mad!
Check out his awesome compilation of Liam’s all time best moments ruclips.net/video/9u-3QIrx7HI/видео.html
And definitely subscribe to his channel for even more great Oasis content: ruclips.net/channel/UCT4PRFZDGuCAuUGGoX-Xmkw
6:49 "I don't play it because I don't really do the song (live forever) justice"
Nice to know he still respects Liam as a singer.
He respects Liam as a singer but not as his brother shame
And yet this IMO is the best iteration of Live Forever.

Noel is a spectacular musician, but Liam undoubtedly sings all his songs better than him. I wish I could’ve heard Liam sing Don’t Look Back In Anger

Whxtirwin I meant in his prime
As a Chinese I love Oasis so much, I first listened to Oasis's songs when I was 13 years old, and I still love them. For me it's very unfair that Chinese government banned Noel just because he performed in a gig which is against their opinion. However, our government doesn't represent us, we still love Noel Gallargher
I'm sorry but the Chinese government is really ridiculous
Rutger Thyssen You wanna count how many musicians..writers, artists are banned to perform or show in China? 😂 Its ridiculous, I mean China. Well most of the times the people too. They extract human organs from the Weygur prisoners for politicians and rich people.
@@TheLimeCurd I think you should make a distinction between the political system and the country. Perhaps you should visit China to be more informed
Oasis are banned by the CCP.
True tho, the constraints on culture diversity is annoying, I guess that’s part of the reason why people call it dictatorship. But everybody should think for themselves esp on those touchy political issues instead of taking whatever’s been propagated by media or other hearsay, they can be totally biased.
I am french and yes i love the rock from great britain since i am kid and. I still listen to them since 1994.
:) love this channel. Well done oasis
OASIS was huge here in the US in 96. I think we thought of them as a novelty I remember thinking wow they are really British. I wish they were as longed lived here as they were in the UK. They kind of disappeared after 99
True. Same with Blur. They were a novelty for a little while in the US then gone. Apparently both bands were huge over there for quite awhile.
Wow were they really? I thought the US only knew songs like Wonderwall and Don't look back in anger. I suppose new punk and rap mental really look over in late 90's, a shame.
@@glennoconnor1130 live forever was kind of a radio hit also but yes the late 90s had horrible music. It was rap rock, teen pop
Live Forever, Wonderwall, Dont Look Back In Anger and Champagne supernova were all radio hits in the US. Dont Go Away and Morning Glory were minor successes as well.
@@glennoconnor1130 More of us Americans like Oasis than you think. Rap metal gave the world Rage Against the Machine to be fair so it wasn't all horrible.
As a person living in the desert in America, yes, yes the sunsets are beautiful
This is really well put together! Well done 👍
India will be blessed if you ever attend a gig Noel..
❤️❤️❤️
Hope you come to India soon
We’re not britpop , cos we’re Irish for a start 🍀! Look of contempt on Noel’s face was priceless.
yeah that term britpop doesn't mean shit anyway., stupid journalists made it up
Yeah and walks out at Maine Road with a Union Jack guitar 🎸 🇬🇧 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧
Toni McCarrol recounts when he first met noel. They were running from a Local gang who was after the Irish. He blocked their way and when they (Tony and guigsy) asked him "but you are irish" he responded with "I was born here so I'm English". He did let them escape though

“You don’t get that from selling records in Dagenham” (around 13:40). Omg, I couldn’t believe my ears; I’m American, but my dearest and sadly departed Dad was from Dagenham many many years ago
(1925-1950-ish). I understand it’s not the place it once was; which is heartbreaking to me because my Dad loved it there; saying everyday coming back home from school was an adventure! There was a beautiful park he talked about (I wonder if people still frequent it as they did then; or if it’s even there anymore. Maybe it’s a parking lot for all I know. I hope not). He had valued friends since a small boy (who he enjoyed much mischief-making with; as well as doing productive things like building their own Ping-Pong Table because they didn’t have one and wanted one!) He shared endless stories of growing up in Dagenham; but I couldn’t possibly bore you with more. I’m still smiling that Noel said ‘Dagenham’, even if it was meant to be insulting.
If you come from the north of england.....anywheres fucking great...north korea even....i can say that cause im from leeds ....i know...

It's in South America
What's the name of the 35 minute song?
Haven’t watched the video but I’m pretty sure you’re talking about Better Man from Heathen chemistry
The Argentinian guy thought he said 1998 but he said 1988!
That's because Noel said 1988, the interpreter translated that correctly, but the interviewer, whom is not someone I hold in my highest regard, by the way, corrected the interpreter based in the fact that Oasis first visited Buenos Aires (and consequently, Argentina) in March 1998. Whether Noel really visited Argentina in 1988 I don't know, although it seems highly unlikely.
@@cristianescobar9997 He actually did - he was a roadie for the Inspiral Carpets back in the late 80s (before he joined the band that would eventually become Oasis) and went on a world tour with the band. I remember him telling the story of the first time he visited Buenos Aires right before a very heartfelt interpretation of Don't Look Back in Anger @ River Plate Stadium. Here you have the link to said video: ruclips.net/video/mY-w4KlfU_8/видео.html
@@Haizuki Cool! I wasn't aware of that; thanks for the video, buddy! I have to admit my opinion on why it would have been strange Noel actually visited Argentina in 1988 was biased by the fact the Malvinas/Falklands war had culminated just 6/7 years earlier. So, Noel meant 1988, the interpreter got it right, and the interviewer was as clueless of this as I was. Thanks again.
@@Haizuki exactly, he was with inspiral carpets
Noel visited Argentina 1st in 1988 as an roadie/drum technician for the band Inspiral Carpets prior to joining Oasis in 1991 at Liam Gallagher request as noel agreed to join on the basis of becoming chief songwriter

Claims to be Irish.
Played a union Jack guitar....
I never understood why British people are so desperate to maintain that the Gallagher brothers are 100% English and are in no way Irish. Noel clearly identifies with both as he's been to support both the Irish and English football teams. He doesn't have any English blood as both his parents are Irish. But he was born in Manchester and I think he sees himself as Mancunian above all. One must admit however that until Alan white joined Oasis, there wasn't a drop of English blood in that band as all original members have Irish parents. Bonehead and Tony McCarroll seem to place particular importance on their roots. For instance Boneheads profile picture on Twitter is an Irish flag. With that said, Noel Gallagher did play with a Union Jack guitar (Something he has said since was a regret of his). But of course I would say that NG feels as much British as he does Irish.
