Hate each other. For centuries our two countries were stuck in a cycle of war(Normans, 100 years war, 7 years war, Napoleon etc.) but we was forced into cooperation in the mid 1800s because we was both scared of the Russians. Then pre WW1 we became allies due to the threat of the newly formed Germany. We’ve remained “allies” since. After WW2 Charles De Gaulle was bitter about the British evacuating our forces at Dunkirk and banned British troops for taking part in the victory parade in Paris following the war despite thousands of young British men giving their lives during the allied invasion of France. Ungrateful, bitter pricks.
