Noel should get his own podcast with Weller and talk about whatever they want, invite rock stars and just talk for 2 hours straight, I’M IN!!! Subscribed all year
If for some strange reason you have not listened to it yet - I recommend checking out his interview with Lars Ulrich for Apple Beats (or something like that). These two also had very good chemistry.
Sub to Matt Morgan’s Patreon & you’ll get loads of great Noel content
weller? no thanks
Bear Loves Records Why's that then?!
@@jonathanhadley2555 because its Paul Weller
Noel’s as good a storyteller as he is a songwriter🙌
Those two skills go hand in hand
Agreed
Better at telling stories actually. Those first two Oasis albums are good. Derivative but good. After that… constant hit or miss till this day. His solo career is mediocre at best. Liam’s is terrible.
@@cactaceous lol shut up
I wouldn't miss never hearing an oasis song again, such is their appeal.
Noel's not only one of the most talented rock stars alive, he's hand's down the most entertaining in interview. I can listen for hours. How many other rockers can you say that about.
Liam x
Yep he’s got the gift of the gab ☘️
Keith Richards
@@iris21ful agreed 🍺 🚬 Keef ✌️
He's nowhere near being one of the most talented, he made a career from ripping off the beatles.
Noel starts praising other artists and reducing the curses, and still being amazing.
The knowledge of music between these two is immense what a great interview
Immense 👌
Always a class act is our Noel. He’s written some of the greatest tunes of all time.
Has he?
Can't say I've noticed really, and I like good music.
@@pleasepermitmetospeakohgre1504 nob
Erm, best tunes over the last 26 years or so, but of all time, nah!
@@Seb2344 I think yous the nob
@@dougreed2257it’s been stated many times that he’s written some of the best songs in the world what’s the point in arguing there are loads of best songs in the world
The whole “ guitar appearing behind the door” makes you wonder . True destiny 🇬🇧🎸❤️
I frequently search for new interviews with Noel, never regreted it. I love to listen to him.
I genuinely thought that I was the only one who puts in a RUclips search twice a week and hit the filter with ‘latest’.
@@abhishektoshniwal7694 Hehe... I don't do it that often, but definitely every couple of months, works excellent as a podcast /radio program too😊📻
@@the_oslovian Noel is a proper raconteur. It’s a shame we don’t get full length shows of BBC etc here in India due to geo restrictions and other of that tech mumbo jumbo.
@@abhishektoshniwal7694 That's sad. Thankfully we get some in Norway
Noel Gallagher quoting Alan Partridge. that has made my day
A time traveler left that acoustic guitar in his house... and God bless him for it!
Noel is such an interesting person. I like the way he talks about how music was such a big part of his life growing up on a council estate - something a lot of people who are around his age can relate to. I think he would be a great after-dinner speaker:)
He's an old soul at heart. He hates most things about the current generation, music included. You can tell he would have been happier if he could just freeze time and remain in the 70s-90s forever.
@@akshaynatu6568 Yeah, I guess so. Mind you, wouldn't mind that myself. I'm not one of those people who think all post-90s music is rubbish, but apart from a few artists and songs, I don't find much of it inspiring. Am I wrong?:)
@@lizardlordlordoflizards5096 Nope. I hate almost all contemporary music.
Thank you so much for sharing!
Thank you, and for the Spotify playlist! 😍
I had no idea Noel was into The Strokes. I love it!
This explains his decline
Fantastic interview, love the new song
thanks for the spotify playlist
excellent interview, so hypnotizing hearing him talking about music
Always gives a good interview! Never short on opinions and anecdotes, perfect guest!
Thanks for posting!

Gracias por la lista de canciones mencionadas
Great interview.. these two have probably forgotten more about music than we could ever learn.. awesome stuff. Thanks
Class interview , Joolz is great, Noel is a modern legend!
Thanks very much for uploading this!
I was born the year after him and can relate to some of what he talks about that inspired him growing up. He’s never boring, always inspires and is extremely articulate .
Thanks for the upload. I missed that on TV and really enjoyed it. Cheers!
This was great. Thanks so much for posting. Love Noely G so much!

Along with weller and daltrey, noel is an absolute legend on and off the stage. Great guy.
Thank you so much for the upload!
so what i did , once i realised they weren’t showing the songs/videos, is i watched the interview and paused it after he spoke about each entry and looked up and watched each specific entry on youtube then resumed the interview. with a couple of pints. was good.
@@snipee7071 Really? Yeah I did the same except without the beer. Nice addition 👌
I just had the beer
I love this interview ,very fantastic choice ,much love too noel and Jules
It's so much easier listening to him when he loses the usual arrogance and just has a normal conversation about music. This is delightful
I think he lost the arrogance a while ago, Liam too. They've matured with age and family life.
@@RnBReworked I take it that you're not on social media
@@fede018 I'm on most forms of social media, including Twitter where I followed Liam up until a few weeks ago.
@@RnBReworked he talks shit about his brother every day.
@@fede018 Noel or Liam? The emphasis on my comment is on Noel as that's who the original comment is referring to. Most of the things I've seen Liam say appear to be out of frustration and passion as opposed to arrogance.
Nineteen Hundred and Eighty Five blew my mind too! Unreal song! I was first aware of it through Trigger Happy TV and many years later decided to rediscover it.
I had no idea it was a McCartney tune I first heard it through THTV and thought it was a recent band at the time trigger-happy was shown on TV now I can't stop listening to it x
@@PaulieD1984 Same! He has the ability to recreate himself and cloak his art so people can view/hear it with fresh ears without the name attached.
Truely enjoyed this interview thanks guys
great interview. Thanks
Cool, thanks for sharing
Thank you !
Naturally cool as always Mr G, wish you and your kid would sort it out, I know I wouldn't get a ticket for love nor money but to share it with my son even on TV would be once in a lifetime gift, all the best either way and thank you for the music
Dudes soooo talented!
Greatest live moment on jools was and is Mcalmont and Butler playing yes song.
Banger
Yeah but that’s only like in your opinion
Nineteen hundred…….is one THE greatest songs ever! Those piccolos at the end. WOW!
I absolutely love the video you are putting up, thank you. Proud subscriber
Noel Gallagher is a genius who brought a lot of joy to the world with his wonderful music.
My past and present collided when Noel started talking about The Strokes!!!!
I was so shocked!!! Oasis and strokes are my all my favorite bands
@@sam-om8zs
Right? I had no idea he even liked them. I used to listen to Oasis every day when they came up. Now I listen to The Strokes every day! Amazing bands, both of them.
@@brianmolkogirl exactly same i used to listen to oasis all the time and now the strokes are my top band
“Do kids still have posters on the wall? Don’t know it’s probably not safe or something” haha 😂 that was funny.
Robert Lawson The Jam, The Smiths & Man City posters;-)
Noel likes The Strokes
REALLY?
Yes! When they came out and had that tremendous success they had, he was asked about them and said he had never been as excited about a new group since the time of the Stone Roses. Liam liked them too
@@matteodevito5470 people were saying at the time, voice of a generation and all this bollocks. But they were absolutely blinding. Like nearly every other band with a massive first, they never quite got passed the "difficult second "... Still, fucking blinding first.
@@jezjukes Yes, that’s what Noel too said about their second album. Personally I really like some songs on Room on fire, but I agree it’s not close to the brilliance of Is this it
@@matteodevito5470 I'm just going to repeat myself and agree with you.
Strange situation?... agreeing in comments.
SO... well, yes.
Just interested... obviously there's loads who didn't surpass their amazing first, who, in your opinion, bucks the trend?
Perhaps zeppelin or nirvana?
Perhaps not.
The Zutons were such a great band, I totally agree with Noel. I know they did some shows a coupe of years ago, but I really hope that they're going to get back together for a new album in a near future.
It’s happening! They’ve just finished recording at Abbey Road studios! Also Nile Rodgers has been producing them!
@@myheadbert yeah, I saw it! Great news.
Noel is a legend. Pure and simple
Strokes deserve all the praise they get. Amazing live band too
‘And it took a lot of restraint not to put them on the merchandise store.’ We love you Noel.
Love him, Noel's the best ♡
That was great! :)
rad work chief
" I went from one string to two". Well we all have to start somewhere!
Ok so when it was oasis noel was our class song writer that formed oasis there was our start then Liam sung these brilliant songs wow still love oasis thanks for the music and the memories xx love to you both x
Noel didn't form oasis it was called the rain first with quigz tony bonehead and a singer called Chris hutton then the singer got sacked off then a young Liam became the singer of the rain and changed the name to oasis then he Brought noel along after and the rest as they say is history
How can I be the man when Noel the man
I was at that Coral gig. I was atbthe bar and I turned around to see Noel behind me waiting to buy a drink.
Wtf, that’s awesome. Noel has to queue up for drinks.
@@vincevirtua he’s lying. He’s really dying of cancer and needs to make up lies to get attention. Ignore him.
I like the setting and interaction style
If someone told me I could either have Noel's money or his hair, I'd chose the hair.
I’d be a rich baldy bastard.
Yeah I’d take the baldness , you can always get a hair transplant
You have chosen .... poorly
And anyway his hair looks glued on , and plenty of women like bald men. It’s really a none issue but being poor is shit
Liams is better
Last night from the strokes is awesome in my opinion
Wicked noel what a good speaker story telling is his forte and writing songs
Noel loves music, period.
Saw Coral and Zutons. New Brighton tent 2003, top gig.
The Fall with Blindness has to be my fave Jools appearance.
Back the way we came vol 1...sounds good, i'll be eagerly awaiting vol 2 and maybe vol 3 then a swift re-unifacation of Oasis....nice one.
Nineteen hundred and eighty five is a great song. I agree with him.
That’s a go to for me and my pals at the jukebox
Just when we all think we knew Macca A to Zed Noel comes forward with his amazement of 1985. Good shout with Coral as well.
Valentinaaa.. saludos desde Perú
The boy is gifted, to be sure
Gracias
It's weird that he mentions the death of John Lennon leading him to learn more about the Beatles cause I also got into the Beatles as a 10 year old because George Harrison had just passed away. Pretty interesting although so sad how one's death can lead you to some great music. I guess that's the only bright side to a legend dying.
Exactly same thing happened with me when bowie passed. It promoted me to go down the rabbit whole and discover his body of work plus all the other amazing artists of that generation!
Love the tom hanks story 🙌
Great rapport between two very talented geezers....
5:37 that guy deserves a slice of the royalities
Fair play Noel Gallagher, tells it as it was with humour and honesty.
Love the guy - articulate and cliche free
Top songwriter ! Top
Noel is very intelligent + self confident + happy 😃 🧠
I love Noel. And referencing Alan Partridge? Great lad.
Yeah I enjoyed that interview plenty of enthusiasm
songwriter king
"10 years, I could've got a driving license or learned to swim" 😆
But not both...
we’re on a way now is a very good song
Yasss Young Fathers representing
Young Fathers are fucking incredible
So Noel heard Nineteen Hundred and Eighty Five....thus AKA What A Life was born!!
Love Noel love Jools. Good to see em having the crack
Anyone else remember Noel's DVD special commentary for all the Oasis music videos?
This is just brilliant I agree Zutons version of Valerie is best ( God bless you AW)
Never really got the oasis thing but noel is a very cool, knowledgeable top geeza …
What a dude
NOEL IS DA MAN.
Noel was listening to man city on the radio when a breaking news flash announces john lennon death...lennon was shot at 10:50pm NYC time...so Man city were playing a match at 3:50am at night??? ...and noel was up listening to it..fair play, ya spoof
Could listen to him all day. Obviously by tea time I'd have to listen to the wife, but hey, what a day.
Lord Noel. Noel the lord 😎
Love a bit of Partridge.
He's a wee jobbie but I'm always glued to his interview and need to hear what music he's released. Why is this, have I been brainwashed, probably
Cant say enough about Jools but Noel is a great story teller, when they started about the scissors I bout lost it.....
That is just weird as Fuck lol, I was like ummmm ok.
Then someone in the audience at Liam Gallagher pealing a potato ;D
Noel once said "My brother's the rock star, I'm the jobbing musician." He seems quite down to earth. A working class hero.
its way more complex than that
Long life Da chief. 😎
He hasn't lost a single hair!
@Mr V oh yeah, very important
@Mr V Considering brits tend to lose their hair by 16, it's quite an achievement.
@Mr V Americans are also victims of bad genetics, it's true.
@Mr V cause I wanted to... Any problems about that?
