I think he's getting a better idea of it, he was talking about how blown away he is by all of these young kids who's parents got them into Oasis on the That Pedal Show here on YT a couple of weeks ago. Has alot of them come up to him and chat him up. If you're into guitar, definitely check that one out, it's a phenomenal interview, he plays through all of his gear and that legendary Les Paul of his too!
For God's sake. Noel is so personable and open about his life, it's hard to not love him. Aside from the obvious Oasis reunion, his storytelling is why he such a great song writer. We need an Oasis rebirth

I saw him play at the Chicago Theater (great venue) a few years ago and he and the High Flying Birds knocked it out of the park…. Best proper rock and roll show I’ve seen since the 1980’s!
Exactly. I'm 60 and - apart from Champagne supernova - i found Oasis to be self-indulgent and arrogant. Now I'm blown away by his last 4 albums. Incredible songwriter and singer.

Lovely interview. Noel is always a perfect guest. I could listen to his stories all day. I love Council Skies, moreover his production of the tracks. In another reality, I wish Noel had produced the Liam+Squire album. Coz he would have given it more depth. More highs and lows. The album in real life has the same tone throughout. This high pitch…every guitar part and vocal pitch. It’s like it was all recorded in one session. Noel would have broken it down and have it a John Leckie like feel. A more robust and classic vibe.

He’s a absolute gentleman I’ve seen him on the tube a few times and at shopping mall always say alright I don’t pester him but have got photos with him and he always obliged a great guy glad to hear his mum is good as she’s so like my mum and she’s just had her cataracts done 🙏🏼🫶🏼

He seemed more nervous in this interview , Noel is one of the best raconteurs when it comes to interviews, I could listen to him all day , he was slightly less confident than he usually is during this I thought, lots of pauses. He warmed into it as it went on.
There's always a marked difference between his interviews in Ireland and anywhere else. The respect he shows for his spiritual home is great to see, and considering he is ruthless in any other situation it says a lot about how he feels about Eire. Be good to see him apologising for that Butcher's Apron guitar he had in the 90's but I suspect am pissing into the wind with that 😄
