The Right Stuff and While the Song remains the same, off the second one - Chasing yesterday - were the two best songs he's ever written, and I suspect they were only intended as filler lol
Alan McGee: "I've heard Noel's stuff and it's amazing man. It's stripped down, three massive songs like Don't Look Back In Anger, Live Forever type of songs. I went through the songs and it was Tune! Tune! Tune! I would say it's probably his best work since... Morning Glory. Noel is one of the good guys. The music business does not promote gentlemanly behaviour but he's a fucking gent, that's the bit that everyone misses about Noel".

I would not be surprised if Beady Eye breaks up in the near future... not because of personal arguments and that, but I've already seen some negativity in some feedback in which their studio tracks sound better than they did live.
Oasis was always the opposite of this and that's what they did so well.
We all know that Noel will sound AMAZING - right?
If Beady Eye does split up (touch wood) Gem would probably be invited to play guitar on a regular basis. Chris included for drums.

I hope to one day share a stage with that man. Without question the centerpiece inspiration to my musical taste, which triggered my quest to have a successful band!

Eloquent. Articulate. Engaging. Humble. Noel has taken his place in the pantheon in just over half an hour. If the music is half as good as the storytelling, I've found something to endlessly loop on the Ipod. Until October, we've this conference--well done--would expect nothing less.

After waiting for a NG solo album ever since the Oasis split I am proper busting for it to come out after watching this press conference. I will get both albums and will got to the concerts (Cardiff please Noel)....... I will clap as well!!

When he spoke about Liam getting violent, you can tell he was triggered from his childhood. I get it.
I don't think Liam got violent, he's making stuff up here he's the one who smashed his guitar in a violent way, this is projection. But - I'm starting to think that Pretty Green dispute was for real. I wasn't there but it is the only way it makes sense.

@@liambriggs2934 I can't really believe what Liam says anyway. If there were no clothing label dispute why would he and Noel fall out then? He's spent his whole life promoting stuff instead of working hard as a musician like Noel. Busy lifting material out of the Beatles catalogue etc, making a spectacle out of Knebworth, making a spectacle out of his conflict with Noel. Naming his former band Beady Eye because of the first three letters lining up with Beatles, or the entire name hinting at something dark I'd rather not touch. Sure Liam can sing but his effort otherwise lies in making commercials or something. He's a pretty poster boy apparently it's what he lives for, so yeah, I can see the vanity in Pretty Green and how he wanted to hijack Oasis for it without a second thought. If I were him I'd direct my energy to write more music and snap out of the poster boy complex.
Cant wait for this album and his first solo gig is in Dublin!! wahoo..roll on Ocotober:-)

Noel saved Liam's life. Liam needed a good wake up call to get better mentally and sober up. I think Noel knew that the band was failing becasue of Liam's poor mental health and addiction issues. I am sure he told him to get help before. Liam probably tried and couldn't stay healthy.
The truth really hurts. Noel is a really smart guy who did a great job with Oasis. Sometimes you have to pull the plug. No one should work in a crapy enviornment where you feel abused. Good Luck Noel!

This much is beyond contestation: Noel Gallagher is the best musician we've seen in the past two decades; one of the greatest of all time. I'm so ready for this new album. A much needed respite from all of the horseshit that gets classed as 'music' nowadays.
