Just got my Jasper rebuilt 6.0 Liter chevrolet engine installed by my local Chevrolet dealer here in Cincinnati. I bought the 2500hd truck new from the same dealer 20 years ago. My truck is two decades old. The new engine is amazing ! It purrs like a kitten. It is so smooth it is obvious that has been built a team of experts with precision and using the best building tools. I think the engine is very well balanced, it just seems to float. I have a great truck, it just needed the Jasper engine to bring it back on par with new $80,000.00 2500hd trucks that are being sold, if you can find one, today ! I LOVE MY JASPER ENGINE. !!!
I've only heard of horror stories about jasper and how they don't warrant a warranted engine
I bought a stage one LS upgrade for my truck and it has the wrong can installed. A car cam . It has been a nightmare. My truck sits after putting two Jasper engines in it. Has really messed up my life dealing with this.
I have a 2010 Crown Vic police interceptor. Whenever the trans or engine finally goes (hopefully 10 or 20 years from now) I’m gonna use y’all. Keep hearing good stuff about them. I love old school V8 RWD body on frame stuff and they don’t make them anymore
DONT… look into reviews . NOT good. Nothing but BAD things said about these engines

the crown vic trans goes out unexpectedly, mine was totaled after only 152, 000 miles. And yes I have an interceptor as well. Don't expect another 10 or 20 years out of your vic, the car is nice but it actually has a ton of problems. And yes I did spend the money to get it fixed because I love it, but I have like zero confidence in the crown vic now.
@@HangtownTactical They have a 3 year 100k warranty. That's pretty good coverage.
i have a 2005 grand marquis my transmission just took a shit. my parents shop usees jasper so i have no real options here . quoted me 4300 for a rebuild. my car just hit 100k miles. it sucks. i do drive it alot i just got a new job and its 50 milers each way and i drive it from maryland to vermont quite frequently so im thinking thats why the tranny failed so early. it is getting old to and it s the middle of winter. glad it didnt fail in the middle of a trip.
A Jasper dealer here,been good to us and never had a problem with their warranty

I just purchased a brand new jasper for my Ford explorer! Its in the shop now, can't wait to see and feel the difference!
Edit: its been a few weeks since I have had my explorer out with my new engine! I absolutely LOVE IT and can hear and feel the difference as soon as I turned the key! Great buy, worth the $$$

I had transmission installed in my 2006 Ford 350 6.0 diesel spent over 4000.00 now sitting beside the road waiting for someone to get me. Oil all over bottom side of truck have less than 3000 miles on jasper transmission installed by 4 way transmission in tecumseh ok we see how good they both are
I know right where that shop is located and I would never use Jasper.
I have a Jeep Modification Shop, we just had a 3.8 Jasper engine put in a 2013 Jeep JK, it definitely has more power than the original, I would say and of course purrs like a kitten, but it actually Roars like a Lion Jasper Engines are definitely my go-to when we need new Engines, 😉👍 4X4 JEEP MODS
How would one do in a 2015 Cherokee trailhawk? Is it more sensible to replace the 3.2 pentastar and transmission with jasper? Or are there any better options on the table? Would love to hear your thoughts.

I purchased a Jasper Engine for my 2011 Ram 1500 after the other engine gave up the ghost around 200000 miles. I had the engine least than 1400 miles before it started knocking loudly and losing power. It took a month to get a warranty replacement and they still can't tell me if it has shipped and it is suppose to arrive 6-15-2023. Today is 6-12-2023. How do you not know where the engine is? Filed a complaint with the BBB but they is as big of a joke as Japser Engine and Transmission. DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY HERE.
If Jasper replaced every wear item and rebuilt the products the way they should be or how any other reputable builder does they wouldn't have all the failures they do. But no they reuse everything they can even gaskets!! Don't buy Jasper!!!
Jasper is truly the best in remanufactured engines and transissions !

@@TheCBScott7 No not a sponsor! I purchased a Jasper engine for my Nieces van . A Plymouth voyager with a V-6 engine . Her van never ran as good before the Jasper , it burned rubber and got excellent gas mileage after the Jasper was installed !
Put a rebuilt engine in my vehicle 2 years ago $8000 and it just went out on me. Have to pay $2000 in labor up front then wait to see if they will reimburse the labor or not. Hope it all plays out well wish me luck.

@@kelleycondon6504 Things went smooth. Ended up paying 300 out of pocket for gaskets and oil etc. My shop got the labor reimbursement 2-3 weeks later.
I wish jasper was half as good as they used to be.......but truthfully even 20 years ago I had problems. It's not rocket science rebuilding, but it takes effort
Put a 318 in my boat and a 4.6 in my cobra no problems boat is 16 years ago and cobra is 7 years ago will use again thank you jasper.

After doing a little digging I got to see a vid where they sent out an engine with a bad lung. They'd tried to use paint to get the intake valve to seal...

Jasper has a reputation for poorly built engines. Last place I'd go to buy an engine.
From personal experience after being a service manager and a Ford dealership as well as having purchased one in the past I have never experienced anything good from Jasper engines, I don't think I would ever buy one, we always used Ford remanufactured engines unless the customer requested something else and are Ford engines were a little bit more expensive but the quality was there.
I'm looking at a Ford F-350 someone says they paid $20K for Brand New engine Jasper 🤔 2010 6.4 Are they junk if brand new not remanufactured?? He wants 23K for his 2010 F-350 Cabela's F-350 Diesel Jasper has 30K miles on it.

Put a brand new remanufactured jasper 2.9 L engine in my 1989 Ford bronco 2 years ago! One of the best decisions of my life I am very satisfied and will be doing the same thing on the Second 1990 Ford bronco two spring 2021! I had so much faith I have in their product!

Have a shop that has plenty of experience putting in Transmissions emphasizing “per spec” and you won’t have any problems and you’ll be very satisfied! Don’t get a backyard mechanic that sloppily puts it in or you will have serious problems and that willl try to blame Jasper! Good Luck! 👍

What does it take to be a Jasper installer? What if you're ASE Senior Master Certified but no longer wrench full-time? Can I buy one of your motors to install at my home shop?

Never buy a Jasper motor you are putting your money at risk. Jasper motors pretty much uses the cheapest parts money can buy and anything that's even close to a service limit on a part gets left inside the motor or transmission without being replaced.
@@lancecarroll81 never buy a Jasper motor you'll be sorry I have been a shop owner for 35 years and had had countless issues with these motors and transmissions and learned quickly never to use them again, we found that it's better for our customers to just rebuild them ourselves

Jasper engines are junk. First one failed at just over 100 mile. Second one was such poor quality we didn't put it in.. Third just failed at 3200 miles . Now they want me to put in a 4th one in. I have no choice as i am $24,000 into a $55,000 motor home. Don't buy Jasper junk. Jasper just gives me the run around. It's a long story but just do yourself a favor and not buy Jasper junk..
Only large engine reman company I will never use again. Two bad engines in Three years.
Don't spend your money on there garbage rebuilds!!! You'll be lucky to get 50k on it. Trust me! When they do fail they try to blame you and not the junk they put out!
