Hi found you on you tube as you were at Jasper Engine & Transmission. Not your fault but would like you to know that I am on my 4th engine from Jasper and could not recommend them to anyone. The factory engine, a Ford Trion V10, in my motor home failed at 68,000 miles. My garage ordered a remanufactured from Jasper and it lasted just over 100 miles. Balance shaft broke and went through the valve cover. Ordered another Jasper V10 and it was so bad we didn't put it in. Ordered a third engine and it has failed at 3200 miles with metal all through the engine so Jasper wants to send a 4th engine. I guess I have no choice but to put in and hope for the best. This whole thing has cost me $24,000. I tell you this because I think they gave you the tour showing their bright side but If I could, I would never buy a Jasper engine and tell anyone who thinking of buying on not too. I tried to talk to Doug Bawel and was told he is the CEO and it is not his concern as he would just send it to someone else. His names on the company but when you are that big maybe he doesn't care. Just wanted to tell you things are not always as they put out on you tube. Thanks for letting me vent........
I feel you and I went through this damn near 20 years ago. We bought a 2.5l iron Duke for my girlfriends blazer.... it was a clean old-school s 10 blazer with a stick........but truthfully it was spotless and was burning oil. I was going to rebuild it with bearings and rings but her dad stepped in........I could see his point and we went with a complete jasper motor and I can tell you that slapping bearings and rings would've outlasted the first 2 motors 😢 that old-school 2.5 cylinder was so basic and strong that I don't know how they screwed up 3 via warranty 😢but it was too much and we sold it to a friend who put a small block in it years later 😂..........I want to like jasper but truthfully the people who don't get dirty screwed every customer I know. 😢like most things they need to get rid of the greedy corporate double talk at the top and listen to the people who are doing the work and have the knowledge ❤
Are all the components in the Jasper engine guaranteed?? I have a Jasper engine with 25 K on it with a knock sensor fault and am told the sensors arent garanteed....is my garage correct??
I have bought 3 engines from Jasper. 2 of them failed shortly after start up. Not a good track record. My installer is getting to the point where he won't work on them..
I’m going through the same thing rn with my ss Camaro . I really don’t want to give them my core. And I think I refuse to do so . Any luck on your engine so far ?
Myjasper engine failed after 75k with easy driving and full synthetic oil! I think there working way to fast to pay attention to details they should!! It was I’m alliances from day one. Shop had to return first one. And this second one only lasted that 75k before chain guides broke and broke oil pump. Just sad!! If they really tested every single engine they would’ve caught that crank imbalance!! Don’t buy jasper!! Just go local machine shop that’s trustworthy and reliable.
Your lucky to get 75k........i know 3 people who work there and corporate doesn't care about anything and they get wrong parts......but if they speak up they would be fired, so it's down to the roof over your head and children eating 😮...........or putting substandard parts in a fellow working class person trying to get by and then hoping for the best 😢
They put an old timing chain in the bath to be cleaned and reused .. what the hell ? Who would put a used timing chain in a reman engine .. i seen it with my own eyes so yea ill never buy jasper ..
Put my 350 through these WV hills in a Toyota mud truck for over 10 years. Zero engine issues.
I just bought a transmission from jasper I like the quality that I’m seeing in this video it’s getting shipped to Texas to put in my truck next week

You all herd him folks .
" I guarantee you that thing runs forever " 😂
Hoping my new jasper purchase meets expectations alot have sd they are poor quality, I spent almost 6,000 on a 2011 camaro 3.6

Good luck. I spent 4800 on my foes 4.6 2v and it was imbalances from day one. Nowhere near factory specs. I hope you get one of the rare decent ones.
Jasper has a reputation of questionable quality. I would never take a chance on a jasper engine or transmission. There are so many better options.

Sorry to hear…….. then again it is a rebuilt engine, not a brand new one. I’m sure there is a percentage of fail like everything else used.

Worse engine and customer service ever seen by my shop. Not once but 4x😔😔😔

Aren't you concerned about the government mandates that are ridiculous about electric vehicles taking over
