Her main problems are 1 she's unlikeable and comes off as insincere, 2 those audio tapes of her showed her nasty and vicious side and her admitting hitting him and how he's a man and nobody will believe him,3 everyone loves Johnny Depp and 4 nobody once saw her bruised and abused. I will say that I'm sure Johnny isn't all innocent in this dysfunctional relationship but she hasn't proven anything so far and seems very fake and manipulative especially the no tears crying. I don't believe Johnny abused her though who would blame him if he got mad and went off on her especially after those audio recordings.

I was looking forward to Amber's testimony to see how she'd hold up. Now that she's on the stand, I can't even bear to watch her. The insanity in how she reacts drives me nuts. It's like looking into the face of a robot and getting that uncanny valley feeling, only with a real person. The way she scrunches her face creeps me out. Those jurors have all of my respect for having to sit and watch each and every painful second of this absolute train wreck of a trial. Can't wait to see what the behavioral specialists have to say about Amber's insane-in-the-membrane acting.

it’s very obvious this man was abused. He was struggling with alcohol and drugs abuse. He was vulnerable and she took advantage of this situation. Male domestic abuse is often overlooked by society. The idea that men can be victims is often laughed at or ignored.
He was def struggling with addiction but I don’t doubt Amber Turd egg it on. She probably encouraged him to use so that she would have more of a case for leaving and taking his money which is all she ever cared about!🤬
She was very young, confused & starstruck. She was approximately 25 years old with a man nearly twice her age who regularly abused alcohol & drugs. Even if EVERYTHING that JD has said about her is true he should have been the “adult” in the room. He brought this very young woman into his & his childrens life because Amber Heard was just another “thing” he decided he had! I don’t think she was that great of an actress in her movies so without actually having lived some or all of what she is saying I don’t think she could pull it off!
I know a man who actually abused by his wife verbally and physically, and most of the time when he is angry (after his wife abused him), he is going to slam things around him. He never once hit his wife because his mom teach him to never hit women. I think JD have similar case with him and i hope he can win this lawsuit.

He is being abused in court, in front of everyone, by this absurdly fake and abusive person, clearly shooting lies left and write out of a script, imagine when they were living together.
It’s exactly how the doctor described she will minimize her wrong doings and exaggerate the wrong doings “done to her”. She can’t help herself. It would be more convincing if she admitted she had a drug and alcohol problem.
One of many things that disgusts me is that she’s trying to copy Johnny’s manner of speech. She’s copying someone who has actually been abused, but because she lacks empathy she doesn’t know why he stammers but she knows the audience responded very positively towards his testimony
I wondered myself if that's what she was doing. I think it comes off very fake with her because, whereas Depp would pause frequently to reflect and choose his words, she just spews forth at a rapid clip. It's like she thinks she'll lose her audience if she shuts up for a second or doesn't bring out one over-the-top claim after the other.

Immediately after this gesture on her part, decided she is a liar, what woman going to court trying to prove she was abused would dress like their ex-husband? Also she claims she was abused by Johnny before they got married what woman would marry a man who is abusing her. She had motives of extorting money from Johnny, she ran out of the court settlement money and probably had someone advising her on everything she has done to create havoc in Johnny's life. Victims usually talk about what they did to “cause” the abuse they endured. They say things like “I know I shouldn’t have done that..” or “I know I made him mad..” they don’t completely excuse themselves of everything because a part of them still wants to downplay everything. I remember replaying the scene in my head 1 million times thinking at what point did it go wrong? Did I have a mean/judge mental (etc) look on my face? What did I just do to trigger that? I would mull that over and over in my head. It’s totally a trait of DV. I think it’s like survival mode if you can figure out what you did wrong and not do it again they won’t hurt you.

When you recount trauma, it’s almost as if you feel like crawling back into yourself. There’s not a lot of movement. Kind of a blank stare, a dead look in your eyes. The tears just come naturally and when I say tears, it can feel like hot waterfalls running down your cheeks. There’s a certain “shame” because victims often feel guilty about everything, even things that were done do them, like it’s their fault. This isn’t it. You don’t look back and forth at an audience. She literally has 0 tears. I’ve never seen 1 teardrop in her eyes. It’s so cringey watching her testify she has no self awareness

Amber heard: previously arrested for domestic violence against her previous wife, is also a drug addict and alcoholic, has no medical documentation from an actual PCP or ER documenting treatment for these horrific injuries she says she sustained, there are pictures the couple days after these beatings supposedly takes place and she looks perfect, can’t keep her own story straight, bought items directly after supposed beatings that were not available to buy yet, gifted her so called abuser she thought was going to kill her with a large knife that said “till death do us part”.
She’s a narcissistic abuser. They are very good at convincing people that they are the victim. This is what they do.
She just doesn’t like cocaine or opiates but relies heavily on alcohol and adderall and mushrooms and weed. I always found it interesting that she would have cocaine readily available and barely touch it. Most people who have tried coke if it’s there you’re going to do it. It’s so bizarre to me she would get a joint ready and two lines and a drink and take off his boots and not do any blow with him. It’s almost bizarre.

In my university days I was in a relationship with a man who physically abused me. Broken and shifted bones, swollen face with swollen eyes and fore head after he was done beaten me. I would skip school for days to hide injury. I was glad I got out of that relationship alive but it taught me something, how to see red flags in relationships I got in after that. Fast forward to my marriage, my ex husband started with accusations of me cheating, racial insults, threatening that he would kill me and get away with it because his country's police won't care about me. I remember how scared I was. I always went to bed completely dressed and and ready to dash out of the house, I hardly slept, last thing I would have ever done was to take sleeping pills, never, I needed to be alert while I was in his house knowing he was there, I even mastered his foots steps because he would pass the hallway on his way to the bathroom which was near his kitchen. If ever his foots steps led to the kitchen after I had gone to lay in bed I would get up and head for the door or balcony (we lived on first floor and I could jump and survive). My fear was that he may grab a knife from d kitchen and try to murder me in my sleep. If he came back empty handed and asked why I'm at the door I just said I was going to have a cigarette. I think AH is lying because if you ever feared for your safety around someone the last gift you would get that person is a knife. F that reference to his turquoise phase, that just shows she is lying. For me I lived with my ex husband most times staying awake and then taking time off to stay with a friend where I felt safe and slept until I went back to my ex for trying to make it work and staying awake during those times for my safety. Lasted few months and I said f that, I'm out. I got on a plane and left, never looked back since. I did date another man after that who had an alcoholic problem, he didn't verbally or physically abuse me. He was kind, it's just that it's hard to love someone like that, they are only there sweet for a few hours before his drunk and stupid. Very awful experience and embarrassing and sad really. I just left him. I think AH was angry at JD, I think she loved him but He didn't meet the reality of what she expected. U know, married to an A list actor who would love her and people would admire them and be enviable of what they have. Instead she got this A list actor who was a junky and didn't have much in common with her. I think she was angry and everything he got high he reminded her of how reality didn't meet expectations, so she lashed out. I know it's impossible to love someone that is down that drug addiction path, it's hard, sometimes u feel u may try to lash out thinking it would help them see how their behavior is affecting u. Eventually you just leave them. I didn't lash out to my ex bf, I only tried to pour out all his drinks, he was rich, he had servnts that would just run out and buy him more. I didn't love him enough to even react, I just left.
This is so true, u become a light sleeper if really sleeping properly at all because ur nervous. U have a death wish if u take sleeping pills in a dangerous situation like that. No one would take such a risk
U hide the kitchen knives 🔪 makes it a pain in the backside when ur trying to cook but u have no choice but to either throw away or hide anything that could be dangerous or sharp.
My current girlfriend was in a abusive relationship where she lost a child in the womb due to abuse, and she tells me all the time how ambers story being told isn’t the way a DV victim would be like, she got pissed off when amber started fake crying and acted scared when Johnny and his legal te we’re about to leave the court room with two officers in front of her

My brother was a drug addict for a long time and I will never forget a story he told me about a friend of his who was a sex worker and she had a bottle used on her and she was so traumatized and had to go to the hospital afterwards. It always stuck with me because of the horrific details and how much she was hurt by it. So for her to say that this happened to her and she walked away unscathed is a medical miracle. No record of hospital treatment or anything??!! I wish I could go and yell at her and show her what it truly feels like to be abused. I probably shouldn't say that but to lie when so many women have been brutally injured and even killed makes me so upset.

Every time Amber takes the stand & gives her testimony, it comes like an audition piece for Law & Order to me, rather than real life trauma. Johnny is calm but you can tell he’s a bit uncomfortable, given his use of humor at times to lighten the serious mood, which is a common defense mechanism used to relax. Johnny is being his authentic self. You’d think that being an actor, public speaking in a real life situation wouldn’t be a difficult thing, but it clearly is. Interesting right? In things like acceptance speeches & such…Johnny speaks the same way every time. He’s consistently & authentically HIMSELF.

It’s interesting to watch both Amber and Depp’s testimonies. He would pause after each question, remember the situation in question, then give a clear and precise answer. She tends to answer with “I don’t in, let me think, I think it was like…” then she rambles on endlessly.

I find this hard to watch. The lies are so obvious and the 'Performance' terrible. As a nurse I see human behaviours of all sorts and these shows of grief and trauma, none seem within anything I have ever seen as normal. As a woman who has dealt with DA it makes me sad to see these lies being told.

I can't help but feel she's giving a performance when she is taking the stand! Outside of the pulpit she was composed put together and writing notes and in her old testimony she was determined and almost aggressive, a far cry from the flustered victim she seems now.

There is no "my" wedding because it's not without the person I love so to speak... language is so nuanced yet so powerful. She secretly records him for the entire relationship, managing to video tape him slamming cupboards because someone's been stealing from him for 15 years and his mother's dying, so she tries to make it about herself when he clearly states it has nothing to do with her, and other times she takes photos of him sleeping and lamps upturned but when she says she was covered in blood with glass all over her and in her cooch and couldn't walk (but managed to try on wedding dresses) or that he beat untill she couldn't see from black eyes her teeth were almost flying out but she just couldn't bare to take a photo or go to a hospital to makes sure she wasn't deformed downstairs for good.
