She clearly doesn't display Empathy. Her grief doesn't come across as genuine and it goes to show how bad of an Actress she truly is. She also displays nervousness which means that all the negative reactions and evidence against her shows that she doesn't have the ability to sway any portion of this absolute circus. Her Body Language also shows that she is lying through her teeth.
Johnny has issues of his own but I don't believe he raised her hand to her unless it was self defence against the abuse she has launched at him indiscriminately. I don't believe Amber ever helped Johnny with his addictions and she clearly anabled it just with her actions against him which drove him to complete self despair. Johnny's addictions make him human, Not flawed or bad, Its Amber's actions against Johnny make her a monster.

As a victim of domestic violence , it’s not your place to discredit what she may have gone through . As a survivor I will never call another woman who lives with a drug addict disgusting. We will never know what took place and you need to be respectful of that .

Yes, this behaviour is exactly like my abusive, BPD mother. She would come to me or people for help or complain about troubles. When I tried to help, it ALWAYS got twisted into blame - on me. Somehow, she would snip out all her preceding behaviour or rants. And she would beat me.

I noticed the same; I wouldn't be referring to my abuser by his first name either. I think the extra detail is because she's storytelling. I hope the jury see through her and at least a few have experience of dealing with someone who is manipulative and uses projection.

Johnny had Amber surrounded by her family and friends, to the point of buying penthouses (5) for them to live in. That's not the behaviour of an abuser. Amber, as the real abuser, actually tried to isolate Johnny from his friends, complained and screamed about him going to a work-related party - that should be examined more.

That phone call that they published shows how he tried to tell her they should settle out of court. She battled and bullied him-that’s when she did the “tell the world, Johnny, that you were assaulted….” He eventually got tired and said he’d be back in a minute and never returned!

Does no one else find it strange that she seems to look happy and have a genuine smile on her face when talking about how Johnny, her so-called “abuser”, proposed? What abuse victim would look back on that and smile? They might feel shame, regret, embarrassment etc. But certainly not joy. I feel like it’s the closest she came to actually acting as if she is in a show. The rest of the time she is mimicking what she thinks that emotion should be on during the proposal speech I feel that she was acting.

I feel absolute disgust that I was even attracted to mine to begin with. For a while after being gone from him, I felt major shame that I missed some of the "good" times. Then my therapist asked what it was I liked about it. I said I liked the spontaneity and fun. So she was like, so you just crave the excitement. That hit hard. I instantly stopped "missing" the "good" times with him. Mind you, that was within a year or 2 of breaking up (not 5 plus years later)- and didn't miss HIM, just the experience. Now even thinking about those times, I feel nothing but disgust.
She definitely didn’t “mock” him for not having a ring. Her concern about impulse is valid. I would feel the same way if I had been proposed to in that way.

Shes playing to the jury until she tells lies and looks away from them and looks up, around and turns her eyeballs left which had been 85 percent of the time.
Oh, so jury is sitting in that direction. I was wondering why she was mostly looking to one direction and ignoring/disrespecting the other side of the room including the judge.
I noticed that while Amber is able to tell the whole story - which happened nearly 6 years ago - in full detail, Johnny struggles to remember everything from certain episodes and only remembers the important bits. Amber is SO obviously adding pieces of information that would make her look as the one who got abused instead of the abuser.

I try to listen to her version without being biased, but anyone who listens to her can easily say that she is just trying hard to make everyone believe in her story, nothing else.

I've been a Depp fan since "Crybaby" and there has never been, in all that time, a single instance where Mr Depp has ever treated a woman as vile as she's claiming. Not so much as a whisper. She’s emotional and chaotic but not because she is a victim - she is talking like she is still in “love” with him (more of an obsession than love) and everything she did to him was to control him and stop him from leaving - even to label him as an abuser if he left her. Which she did. She’s chaotically emotional because her plan backfired and she is now under incredible stress and pressure to continue the facade and lies on the stand in front of millions of people to prove that “she is the victim” - she’d get back with him if she could, but she can’t stop her plan of getting revenge for him leaving her. This is her losing control of Depp - and she can’t handle it.
Also, the only reason why someone would suddenly become jealous “if they are not usually a jealous person” and they start quizzing their spouse about who they are with and what they are wearing, etc, is because of a genuine concern. Amber does like to sleep around and is a cheater - it’s a part of her character and she will flirt outrageously to get what she wants. She is borderline and histrionic and these folk can be very promiscuous- any man with a woman like that would start to feel very insecure and paranoid. It’s not always the “jealous” persons fault. People like Amber plant seeds of doubt.. abusers make their victims feel insecure and jealous to control them and mess with their minds.
She is absolutely conveying real emotion at the end when she was reliving the story of her engagement to Depp. It's drastically different from her other displays of emotion. The body language and everything tells us shes telling the truth about the marriage proposal. No deep sighs, no exaggerated expressions. I totally agree. Her love was controlling. recalling her doubt about the legitimacy of the proposal also speaks towards her character. She expects deceit and distrusts others. Which, if you agree shes a narcissist would be typical behavior because of their misunderstanding of other peoples emotions and behaviors.

"Issac who you met" while looking and talking to the jury. The jury is not the one questioning her, her attorney is. She should be looking at and talking to her attorney, not the jury. Yes, they're the ones who end up making the decision, but they're not involved in this particular part of the trial. Amber tried too hard to look innocent when she wasn't, the jury wasn't fooled and that's why they eventually ruled against her favor. If she would've acted normal during her testimony, she might've had a slight chance, but who knows. It was very annoying to watch her do this.
