- The “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory” star is suing his ex-wife for defamation over a Washington Post op-ed she wrote in 2018 alleging she was a victim of domestic violence after their brief marriage publicly disintegrated. She did not name Depp in the piece.
A witness testified Thursday that Amber Heard gave her ecstasy in 2015 during her and Johnny Depp’s wild wedding on his private Caribbean island.
Gina Deuters, whose husband works for Depp, told jurors in a Virginia courtroom that Heard and her friends appeared to be having “a wonderful time” and offered her the pill.
“[Heard] and all her friends were on it. It was like a party atmosphere,” she said of the drug MDMA, also known as ecstasy. “I decided to throw caution to the wind and try it.”

My son met Johnny Depp and his daughter were in a shop at Disney. My son was excited and Johnny talked to him for at least 10 minutes. The man is kind, patient, and caring for others. He did not have to stand there with interest.
in fact he does that for most people talk for hours over nothing just being him self no act just him.i not seen the sqat queen have time for charity or children have you.

I can see her anxiety when she’s doing the breathing exercises.. I have social anxiety so bad and its hurting me having to watch her on the stand. No one with anxiety would agree to this situation unless they very deeply cared and stood behind something/someone.

The same thing happened to my dad ...his ex was an abuser and even used to get on top of him while he was sleeping and hit him....she phoned the cops on him while my daughter and I were visiting and said he threw her to the floor...NEVER HAPPENED. It took years to clear his name and money spent on lawyers. In the end she screwed up "her story" and it was thrown out....but his reputation is forever damaged. These type of women are EVIL.
The same type of thing happened to my Dad. He married a Woman he'd only known for 2 months. She turned out to be insidious mentally to him and a physical abuser. It was awful. She made up lies about him and tried to take everything he had. The toll it took on him and me and my Brothers was so hard to deal with. He won his case in court, but it costed so much in so many ways. Incredibly, it was her own Son who told us she lied about her past , and had went to prison for pushing her 70 yr old Husband down a staircase. I'm sorry for what you went through too, and I wish you the best. I wish Johnny Depp the best too, and I hope he wins this case. AH, has all the classic signs of an opportunistic abuser.🙏

I have a similar thing going on with my dad but he is still with her. She recently called the cops saying “he kicked her in the face” and she actually consistently beats him up and he just won’t leave. Biting, hitting with objects, pushing and punching. It never ends

The fact that Amber Heard wanted to go public so early in the relationship tells a lot about her - she wasn't acting out of love, she was acting out of narcissism and a need for fame.

My brother and I crossed paths with Johnny about 12 years ago and he loved the old Buick we were driving. He talked to us for about 15min. The best way to describe Johnny is he was super cool and a laid back guy . Just like an average guy. Thanx Johnny for taking time out of your day to talk to us.

My brother and I cruised to Mission Beach to hang out for a while and we parked away from people so we could see the sunset and a nice white car with dark windows rolled by and stopped and someone climbed out the passenger side and said “Gentleman, may I have a glance at your car” and It was Johnny Depp. We were both star struck for a few seconds and we gave him a tour of the car and he asked us where we were from , we told we were from El Reno Oklahoma. We talked for a bit and he left. The funny thing about the experience was when we were talking,Johnny didn’t act like a movie star, he was just a really laid back guy that liked our old Buick Electra. He had awesome sense of humor. That’s how we crossed paths with him.

Amber Heard aggressively uses drugs, too. She just did not have the opioid addiction like JD and 1/3 of America, nonetheless she abused drugs and alcohol quite heavily. That’s a common thing with addicts and former addicts. We get judged on our drug use and not our morals and values. I’ve been an addict for over 20 years because of a traumatic car wreck when I was 21, been in and out of treatment throughout those years. I can tell you that 98% of addicts are some of the nicest people you could meet. But most people never give us the chance to get to know us as soon as they hear about our addiction.
You don’t have 25 year work and personal relationships that stand up for you like this unless you’re a kind and considerate person.
Its rare than kind and considerate people have this kind of support. Usually the other way round
....or are loaded and extremely financially generous ( for 25 years) - so much so, that those around you become dependent upon your financial gifts !

We shall respect each other and find our balance in life with ourselves and our emotions. But for sure I know that is likely that woman can be too. I see it in many cases in my everyday life. I have also the very bad experience that the son of a friend was accused by his partner that he raped her , even that for lomg time he was trying to separate from her and move out. she was manipulating him and threatening him psychologically. it took some years until he was found innocent though trial . it was a revenge action from her, but still he has not recovered .

Fast forward to the following day when they discover that Eve Barlow (ambers NEW bff) misrepresented a post this woman had posted on her Instagram a year ago from the UK trial as if it was for this current trial. And got banned from the duration trial the following day. So disgusting. Her and her WHOLE crew. And the jury didn’t even get to see any of that, just that johnnys friend got struck from the record. Insane.

Yeah, he certainly didn't use her to recapture his drug binging youth, though. He cheated on his wife and ditched out on his kids to be with this psychotic woman and he did so knowingly. Because he didn't like what a drag his wife was and he wanted someone who'd let him binge oxy and drink all day instead of demanding he actually be an accountable father and husband. He got exactly what he wanted.
If you ever had that experience, guests tend to overstay after 2 days, and it's systematic. Give them 2 months and they start feeling they own the place.

Anyone can tell Johnny is a good friend to all of his friends. This is not about his addictions, which he never denied. He is a caring, respectful and kind human being. Just have to watch how he is answering all questions with patience and respect, very naturally without acting💪🏻

@@annesophiejp I used to have a really bad coke addiction, one that nearly killed me, but it never drove me to harm anyone but myself. I was actually the victim of serious domestic abuse at the time, and coke didn’t help me fight back, on the contrary, I was way more passive and accepting of the unacceptable than if I had been sober. Coke does make certain people violent and odious though, but so does alcohol, and not everyone who drinks turns into a monster. Well, it’s the same with cocaine. I tend to think alcohol and drugs are a revealer of personality rather than a modifier.

Notice the title "aggressive use of drugs" suggesting that JD is aggressive when he is under drugs, while the same title simply means heavy use of drugs... Media is the biggest manipulator haha but we see what they're doing.

Johnny closing his eyes after she explains her family and his with Vanessa and the kids spending time together almost broke my heart. Cause you can tell he thought back to those memories and probably thinking those were great. why did it turn to this? He must think that every now and then how one woman turned his head and then completely breaks him.

We've had consistent testimony from everyone from decades long friends, professional partners, and his personaloty seems pretty damn consistent. What she did "wrong" was watching videos of the other witnesses in the trial before she testified. Nobody told her not to do so. But because she was not supposed to watch the trial, she was told to leave the witness stand as soon as the judge found out that she had done so.

Well, I can say that Amber Heard has made me see Mr. Depp in a different light. I'm not happy to say that she has forever changed my opinion of this man. Before the allegations, I was indifferent to Mr. Depp. Haven't really seen a bunch of his movies, in fact, I can't recall one entire movie that I have sat through of his.
What Ms. Heard has done with her allegations and the publicity of her struggles with domestic violence, is prove to me, beyond a reasonable doubt, that Mr. Depp is apparently one hell of a nice guy, loyal and helpful to his friends, and regardless of what he chooses to do for his recreation as far as drugs and alcohol, has a positive impact on those around him and chooses to be a positive influence in the world around him.
In short, when judging a man as far as his worth to humanity, Mr. Depp is one of those people that the world is a better place for him having been in it. He will leave behind more good than bad when he makes his exit someday. The good that he will leave behind, in the form of the impact he had on others, will be immeasurable as to the people they help because of him and so on - the "ripple effect" is not one that can be measured, but I can say with certainty that his will reach as far as most of those can.
You don't have to be a celebrity to do the same thing. Being a celebrity just allows you to reach more people and in that sense, Mr. Depp is one of those people that you can say "deserves" to be a celebrity.
Be kind to your fellow human beings. It doesn't cost a dime to make the world a better place for all.

Let us get this straight. She was removed as a witness and her testimony stricken, because she has watched previous parts of the court process including other accounts from other witnesses??? Isn't a court proceeding done in the PUBLIC?? It is absolutely ridiculous that she wasn't allowed to finish her testimony and have her testimony stricken for such a baseless reason. FOR SHAME.
Court proceedings are public for the 'public', but not for those who are providing evidence. Testimony has to come directly from the witness, entirely from their own recollections of events. If, as happened here, a witness has heard other testimony, then their evidence is tainted. Rather than drawing the evidence entirely themselves, they can, either deliberately, or inadvertently, be influenced by what someone else says they witnessed. In this case, she might, for example not know or not remember, who was at an event and what happened so when she is asked a question the answer is 'I don't know' or 'I don't recall'. But if she has heard another witness testify as to who was there and what happened, she can then introduce that information into her testimony as if it is her recollection, such that the previous witness's testimony is apparently corroborated.
The jury is likely to assume that witness one is telling the truth BECAUSE witness two is independently providing the same recollection. In fact, witness two is not corroborating evidence, but is merely duplicating the opinion of witness one. And that can mean the difference between a guilty/not guilty verdict, and between justice and injustice.
I don't believe this witness derived some of her opinions/recollections from what she'd heard online, but the fact that it is possible, renders her an unreliable witness. Hence, her testimony MUST be terminated by the judge and whatever she has said MUST be disregarded by the jury.

Although this is heartbreaking for me to watch and brings back memories of the abuse myself and my siblings were subjected to as children ( from our mother ) it is SO important to me as the eldest daughter . The reason being that in Johnny Depp's eyes I recognise the pain I saw in my little brother's eyes when he was physically and mentally abused by his wife . My brother gave so much love and material possessions to the bottomless pit he married but she despised him . My brother committed suicide after he realised that she had another man and drawn everything out of his Bank Accounts . Thank heaven Johnny's bravery in coming forward about women beating , bullying and abusing men . It may have saved my 28yr old brother's life . Long comment 😷 but I'm an old Anglo Irish grandma who still feels I could have helped ...guilt is still with me .

None of this really makes any sense. So, Johnny drinks and at some point he was using drugs. There’s no testimony about him hitting her or hurting anyone but himself. Why is this important? I’ve always heard it doesn’t matter what you believe, it only matters what you can prove and for 3 days, no one has mentioned him hitting her. If no one has ever witnessed it then isn’t the trial over and he wins?

Her own assistant said she stole the assistant's sexual abuse story, many people have said she's rude and unkind, and there's audio of her admitting to being physically abusive. They are trying to convince the jury that domestic violence was happening behind closed doors by detailing his drug abuse and painting him as a guy who gets wasted all the time and loses his temper, because they have no substantial objective evidence of him beating her, so that's all they can really do. i have bad anxiety and i identify with this so much. this is exactly how i act in class at school whenever i feel like people are looking at me and she has sooo many people watching her, judging her, cameras filming her… this must’ve been so hard for her and i applaud her for doing this. she must really really genuinely like him to go through with it. i know it kinda looked like she was lying a few times but i definitely just think she spaced out bc of her anxiety. i do it all the time and people think i don’t listen to them or that i’m not focusing, but when you’re anxious, you just can’t help it. it’s like you’re there but you’re not there and you don’t know what to do w yourself or where to look, and you feel really self conscious and start to overthink everything you’ve said or how you said it or what you look like. then you get overwhelmed because you missed something someone said to you and you feel embarrassed and you start sweating or trembling and you try to act normal but you feel like everyone can see right through you and is judging you. i also usually forget what i’ve just said, what i was about to say, or what someone else has just said.

Yes, I agree with you. I have no idea whether she is lying or on some substance, but it just seems like overwhelming anxiety! Who would not be very nervous on a world stage and people scrutinizing every nuance. A lot of anxiety is more innate for some people, but try not to care. They don't tell you this in the video but at around 30 min in all the lawyers walk up to the bench to discuss something then the Gina Deuters is excused from the stand. What happened was Ambers current girlfriend was sitting in the first row of benches behind Ambers team of lawyers and passed her phone them (she was not supposed to have an electronic device inside the courtroom) and on her phone she had a screen shot of Gina Deuters Instagram with the date intentionally edited out of the image and accused Gina of posting things about the trial on Instagram and since she's a witness she was not supposed to follow the case online, in reality the Instagram post was about the UK trial and had nothing to do with this trial but that's the kind of desperate dirty tactics Ambers resorting to.

I doubt all of that is true. It sounds about half accurate. If you want to talk about dirty tactics, however, JD's attorney, Adam Waldman, was kicked off the case and permanently banned from Twitter for his dirty tactics on behalf of JD. That is verifiable.
This is actually “Perverting the course of justice” and can carry a maximum sentence of life imprisonment.

One thing I've learned from this trial is that Johnny is a sweetheart. Nicest ever.
She was so nervous and her anxiety was through the roof. She did what she had to do because a true friend will stand by you. Johnny truly does have amazing friends

Johnny’s use of drugs doesn’t seem to make him a negative person. Some addicts wouldn’t take the time to stand and talk to fans.
i see johnny as a super patient person...i found a clip on youtube of johnny coming to a comfort a small child during movie premeiere cuz they were squishing this kid and nearly trampled him and johnny calmly comes into this psycho crowd and comforts him,,... its so sweet he kisses him and rubs his head...

I love her. She’s so sweet. I am the same with math and time. I have dyscalculia and math is a nightmare. She’s like the sweetest little bird almost. He keeps such a lovely cast of people around him.

Dyscalculia? They made up a name for this? Don’t even listen to that nonsense. You learn differently than the the way the mainstream has decided to teach math, you are actually probably way better at math, than the people who teach it, or the people who are informing you that the way their teaching method doesn’t apply to you, is some “disorder” on your part, when the reality is, that it is likely the rigid, “one size fits all” way they teach it. It’s the classic manipulation, meant to cover for their own lack of creativity, and inability to evolve. You are probably a big picture thinker, and arrive at answers quite intuitively, which, people who do not, struggle to grasp, so they tend to be dismissive, instead. It’s small minded, nonsense, and it’s been going on since the beginning of time.
