I loved his testimony. Him vaping, drinking his soda, and driving off actually made him credible. He's exactly who he is and he didn't change that for anyone. Including the courts. He did not see any bruises.

I honestly thought the 'bizarre' comment was about the line of questioning, and not him.
They were referring to him driving, deposition footage from a car is odd enough but as the Judge said she has never seen a witness answering questions while driving. The Court was not commenting on the witnesses testimony or character.
MAYBE its because its a dude chilling in his car and driving while he is in court. kind of a new and novel experience for a judge

I always loved the way that Camille stood up for this guy during her closing argument for Johnny Depp. I remember the judge making some comment about how bizarre his testimony was and Amber's lawyer (Elaine) fully agreeing with her as though it was the most ridiculous thing she'd ever witnessed. I think it was really important that Camille pointed out to the Jury and the rest of the world that this man has a job and isn't part of the Hollywood Circus. She managed to give his testimony the credibility it deserved. This is an honest man doing an honest day's work and they should be grateful he's providing testimony about this so many years later. He's clearly tired of it all, as was Johnny.

Yeah but he knows he is being summoned to testify, he woulda had days if not months even a year or more notice of this happening so she shoulda been prepared, not working (take a day off) and yeah. Most people would not remember what another person was wearing, what their makeup looked like, or what their hair looked like while seeing them for a few minutes several years ago. But I'm sure they'd remember if they saw a celebrity's face covered in cuts and bruises. This guy is being 100% honest.

To be fair, it is unusual for a witness to show up like that. Not saying he's bizarre, but most witnesses act with more formality. I think lawyer lady just had her panties in a twist because he didn't say what she wanted.
Besides the vaping and driving, he still attended the court session and answered all questions. He was comfortable and he was himself. But I bet if he was there physically he would’ve acted apart.

I think the reason it's "bizarre" is the fact that Amber's lawyers called him as a witness . He did not help her case at all. Not to mention the insane line of questioning where he has made himself very clear that he doesn't remember. If you work in any customer service industry where you see TONS of people per day, why would you remember if a lady was wearing lip liner years ago on this particular date? Get outta here.

Alejandro was one of Depp's witnesses who previously stated that he never saw any injuries on Heard.
What do they think a body guard does keep a pocket ledger in his pocket to take notes on what amber looks like day and date. Talk about arrogance making it about makeup and what he was looking for. Johnny is right to dump her she is not a nice person.

The person questioning him was clearly trying to bring his credibility into question. Basically trying to make it so that his previous statement of not remembering seeing any physical trauma on Amber Heard became irrelevant so that they could continue to claim Johnny Depp was physically abusive toward her.
This guy in return is honest and whether or not he knows it, is telling them that his word is in fact worth something and when he said he didn't remember seeing her physically abused then that means he just didn't see and signs of physical abuse on her. In short, Amber Heard is a bold faced liar.

My respect for Johnny has gone up during this trial. He’s warm, friendly and respectful even through all these people dragging his name through the mud. How can you not side with him?
Seriously. I liked him as an actor before but didn't necessarily care about him as a person (like with most celebrities). This trial is definitely changing that. Even Jason Mamoa now following Johnny Depp as of a few+ days ago was very telling. Johnny's testimony about why he's pursuing this trial- talking about his career was gone the moment Heard made allegations and he's not actively trying to get back into acting; he's doing this for his children. This could bankrupt him if he loses and all this man cares about is making things better for his children.
Amber sues for money and fame. I didn't know I could lose so much respect for someone I barely know of. She's already lost, at least in the court of public opinion.

not wanting to diminish your respect for Johnny, but i suspect a major part of the reason he's doing this is to re-present himself as a nice guy (which i'm sure he generally is if you're not married to him), get some good publicity, and restore his career. i think he will be getting lots of daily coaching on behaviour techniques: stay calm, don't take the bait, smile and laugh your way through it, etc.

Thank you……I am recovering from surgery and this may be the funniest trial I have ever seen. As an Attorney, I have never heard such nonsensical persistence by this attorney trying to get the witness to say something that doesn’t exist….grasping at straws is an understatement…thank goodness there’s a time limit to this trial…she is running down the clock and getting no where. Most men don’t know and don’t really look. Unless you’re actually attracted and obsessed by looking at the other person’s face, but you will see if make up is too much not small details not even eyeliner. Especially that some do it so smoothly it doesn’t really show. Some can even completely change face with makeup. Then maybe Amber need to change career to make up artist if that was what she did.

He said he didn't know her outside of the normal pleasantries of leaving and arriving the building. He def would have noticed any bruising just based on that alone though.

"Were you looking for bruises?" is a preposterous question. No one goes around inspecting everyone's faces for damage. His testimony is that nothing like that appeared on her face and he was looking her in the eye at three feet away. You can't twist that into an inability to identify a swollen, marked up face. The Witness could have responded, "Are you looking for bruises on my face right now?" If someone asked you later if you saw any, would you say, "I have no idea because I wasn't looking for them, and I only see things that I am looking for?"
Keep in mind that he was being questioned for 3+ hours. He's not being paid for this, nor does he get something out of it.
He's the most real human being to be witnessed. Everyone is being proper, which is expected, but he's the most human.

This guy was completely genuine with everything he said and did throughout his testimony. He’s an absolute delight to hear among the witnesses, and was super cool of him to appear in court in any way he could.
I swore off even talking about anything Johnny Depp immediately because I was so torn up about the allegations possibly being real. I’m so regretful I didn’t remain even a little sceptical. To be fair, I think the timestamp was that they kept him from 4:30pm to about 7pm when I watched the original video earlier (they hid it here) but it's still him having to give up his time after what looks like a shift and he just wants to get home.
