As for the Disney+ shows for SW & MCU it's more difficult to track the profits because Disney doesn't share the numbers. If the shows were successful you'd see multiple shows get renewed for multiple seasons. So, far, of the Disney+ shows for SW only the Mandonlorian, Bad Batch (just ended), Visions, & Tales have made it beyond a single season. For the MCU Disney+ shows only Loki and What If have made it beyond a single season. If they were getting the views and driving subscribers & ad revenue to Disney+ more shows would've been renewed.

The sequel trilogy's box office declined greatly going from $2.06 billion for TFA in 2015 to $1.07 billion for RoS in 2019 (a billion dollar drop off). RoS was such a nightmare with expensive reshoots that SW hasn't had a new movie and relegated to Disney+.
Have some optimism. The show hasn't even come out yet and you are already claiming that nothing will happen. Yes, there have been some recent releases that have been boring, but this looks like it will be pretty different compared to many other things in the SW universe. It's not fair to review something that you've only seen a few trailers of.

In the UK where Disney does a big chunk of it's filming for the movies, Disney is required by law in the UK to report their actual budgets in order to get tax breaks. If you look at the budgets (production & marketing), subtract theater cuts (from multiple countries/China takes between 60-80% of BO), interest on production loans, and taxes; the MCU movies have made a modest profit, broke even or lost money since Endgame. Also, The Eternals lost an estimated $52.6 million in 2021. Antman 3 lost Disney an estimated $125 million for Disney (2023).
If you look at the box office for the sequel trilogy the box office decline went from $2.006 billion to $1.077 billion. Then there is Solo which lost $76.9 million (2018) and didn't even make it's budget back. Solo and Rise of Skywalker are part of the reasons why SW hasn't had a new movie in theaters since 2019.
Then, there other movies. Indiana Jones 5 which lost an estimated $130 million for Disney (2023). Wish lost an estimated $131 million for Disney. It's estimated that Disney lost $1.3 billion at the box office in 2023. Of 11 releases in 2023, only GotG Vol 3 and Elemental turned a profit for Disney.
As for the Disney+ shows for SW & MCU it's more difficult to track the profits because Disney doesn't share the numbers. If the shows were successful you'd see multiple shows get renewed for multiple seasons. So, far, of the Disney+ shows for SW only the Mandonlorian, Bad Batch (just ended), Visions, & Tales have made it beyond a single season. For the MCU Disney+ shows only Loki and What If have made it beyond a single season. If they were getting the views and driving subscribers & ad revenue to Disney+ more shows would've been renewed.
The saddest part is these things make money. Between hate watchers and those who are pandered to.

If we go by the budgets that are being reported out of UK, which Disney needs to report in order to get their tax credits there, most the MCU movies that were shot in the UK made either a modest profit, barely broke even or lost money. Also, you have to calculate in budgets (production & marketing), production loans, taxes, reshoots that exceeded the 2 week standard for most films, merchandising and the percentage of the box office that goes back to theaters or specific country (in the US theaters take 20% of BO and countries like China take 60-80% of BO).
If you to take it a step further Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny lost an estimated $130-134.2 million in 2023 and Wish lost an estimate $130 million in 2023. GotG 3 and Elemental made a profit. Little Mermaid barely broke even. Haunted Mansion (2023) lost an estimated $117 million. In 2023 alone Disney lost an estimated $1.4 billion at the box office.
On the SW side Solo lost an estimated $76.9 million at the box office in 2018 (the first SW movie to lose money). The sequel trilogy's box office declined greatly going from $2.06 billion for TFA in 2015 to $1.07 billion for RoS in 2019 (a billion dollar drop off). RoS was such a nightmare with expensive reshoots that SW hasn't had a new movie and relegated to Disney+.

Yes, there have been some recent releases that have been boring, but this looks like it will be pretty different compared to many other things in the SW universe. An extended warranty comment will never be underrated, it's just been in circulation too long and has been used for almost every situation, alot of times being cringeworthy.
