    • @iamsatanjr

To be fair, I wouldn't say she's a terrible attorney. She and the rest of the legal team are trying to make as strong of an argument as possible while having really shitty situation on their hand. It's not a case if you want an easy win, but intead it's a case where everyone is getting a huge paycheck for trying - because regardless of the outcome someone's going to cover the legal expenses 100%.
With all of this going down I think they're doing their best to not look like complete fools in court, which is a challenge of it's own considering what they have to work with, and present with a straight face.

I don’t know the ages of the commentators here. BuI am old enough to remember the damage to property, the bloody fights between him and the model Kate Moss for a long time before he met Ms Parisi. There were other women, but back in the day the “Me Too” movement was just wishful thinking and we women were silent. We all saw how rape victims were treated in court. If a woman dare to bring her case to court more than not Women were discouraged by police and others to drop charges. I love Mr. Depp’s work and I want to see more of it. But his reputation as a drinker and drug user has always been an open secret in Hollywood. He is a heavy drinker and passes out. People who drink heavily can become quiet or mean. They can be physical too. I’m not saying anything people who deal with heavy drinkers don’t know. She has a lot of issues too. I think this is mostly very sad. I know women love him but he’s putting on a good performance and he’s a great actor, remember that. She didn’t ruin his career she just gave the studios another reason to not work with him because of his erratic behavior on set and the money it cost them to delay the picture. While he was with Ms Parisi, he was so much better and in a good place. If he really wants to work he can do what a lot of actors are doing. He has the money to be the producer of independent films and he can get good people and good writers and he has fans who will come to see him. He needs to take responsibility for his behavior and why studios don’t want to work with him. Word of mouth and losing money travel fast in Hollywood. This woman fought back. Most women do nowadays and they have the support women like me; your mothers, grandmas, aunts, didn’t have back in the day.I love the phrase, “I don’t remember”, excellently coached by lawyers to not lie on the stand, but to evade.

If he was being paid the Union Minimum, as he here testified several times, how is Johnny being 'generous' by having that written into his contract, which Elaine alleges (without proving) several times? Why is the Union Minimum so freaking "generous"? What is her point, what the hell is she trying to prove with this? I hope the jury is not as confused and dizzy as I feel right now. Why does Elaine think it's so extraordinary, perhaps corrupt, that his hotel was paid for? Does she think think people performing important jobs on movie sets pay for their own location accommodations, so that all professionals can only afford to work in their own hometowns? (She might be completely 100% shielded, like Dr. Spiegel, from all information about acting, and does not even know these people might be caught rehearsing.)

Because Johnny surrounds himself with enablers of his drug use, through even long-standing contractual agreements (ensuring subsequent productions hire certain personnel who happen to be enablers). This power structure helps to compare the levels of control over the dysfunctional relationship between he and Amber. Furthermore, does Johnny’s using adversely affect his reliability as a victim of ‘Amber as sole abuser.’ Clearly, it was sadly a dysfunctional marriage largely in part due to the bubble of substance abuse in which toxicity was maintained, and if Johnny’s using was often an impetus of dysfunction, then Amber’s defense has a valid foundation of argument.

How to phrase the questions so that the witnesses answers would be short, to the point, not allowing witnesses of opposing team to be able to elaborate, or draw out their answers, that may lead to these lawyers having to object every reply that comes out of witnesses mouths.
