As someone who lived with a gaslighting narcissist, hearing his texts where he is thinking everything is his fault brings back some pretty uncomfortable feelings. It's hard to know when you're in it but it's easy to recognize once you get away from it.

Johnny is authentic, genuine, real. Most people can relate to his struggles, with themselves, family members, or friends. Because he’s so authentic, he is very likable.
His daughter was in a hospital bed next to a childhood friend of mine. He befriended his dad, and invited them round for dinner when they had recovered. I was told he was a very kind, generous person. I am with Johnny all the way.

I'd like to praise Johnny for the way he has held himself in court. He defends himself well and I love his snippy asides. Cross examination is incredibly tiring and can make your blood boil. I was never much of a fan as I generally don't like celebrities. But he has shown his humanity and I'm now one of many who admire him.

Listening to him describe his opiate withdrawals had me feeling for him so much and her denying him the medication he needed to feel better. I’ve been there. Pain pills has control of my life for many years and I hid it well. She took advantage of his insecurities. She’s a monster.

And people wonder why heroin has gotten out of control in this country. Thankfully I never turned to that but I spent so much money on pills that my condo could probably be paid off and I beat myself up about that every day. I go to an addiction specialist every 2 months and do a video visit between those. In July it will be 4 years and I’ve had such a weight lifted off my shoulders. But you literally feel like you’re going to die during the process.

This goes beyond psychological help. Sometimes you have plain cruel people. We can't justify everything in this country having to do with psychological help. She is old enough to know difference between right and wrong. Met so many people in a lock mental facility where I was working for a few years and so many of those patients know how to play the system all because society pampers bad behavior in this country. And when there’s not enough evidence and it’s obvious how the real abuser is, it is still their job to find a way to defend their party as much as possible. He did however imply it was during the flight, after talking about taking drugs and drinking on the flight, and not differentiating the time line. He hoped to imply the recording was during the flight. Shady tactics for sure.
Amber's attorney actually said, "That's not my question." and proceeded to ask the question again. I think it was a good move by her attorney. If he was aware enough to know that he didn't moan on the plane, then he should have been aware to what else was going on. Does remember certain events? Most certainly, but I'm sure most events were a blur.
My respect for Johnny Depp has skyrocketed. Everyone thinks so highly of celebrities. Mr. Depp has been completely open and honest about his addictions, takes ownership of them, and explains how badly he struggles with them. This information humanizes him and shows that he is a good human being with demons just like the rest of us. I can't stand how that lawyer is trying to really paint a negative picture of him and is trying to get him to slip up to make him look bad. I know that it's his job, but it's not morally right in my opinion. After this ridiculous lawsuit is over, I hope Mr. Depp gets the help he needs, and I TRULY wish and hope for his success in every aspect of his life. He is a good man, and I will support him in every way I possibly can in the future.

Any evidence they bring up in Amber's defense only makes her look worse. First they drag him through the mud because he had an addiction. That in on itself proves nothing about him being agressive, if anything, some people struggling with addiction are more vulnerable. Then they show the video where she filmed him being emotional, smashing the kitchen cabinets right after his mom passed away. Instead of comforting him she decided to pull out a phone and start filming him. Is this something normal for a loving spouse to do?

He might have had fits of rage but not directly towards her verbally and maybe not even physically. I do believe they physically fought each other but it was more Johnny defending himself than him seeking to hurt Amber. She's the one instigating and provoking most of their fights anyway. She's the real abuser and bully in my opinion. She took advantage of this man's state and that's what toxic people do. She's a toxic human being with severe mental issues that need to be immediately addressed before they get any worse. She could go criminal fairly quickly.
A's legal team constantly brings up his addiction issues because they have nothing else. They are attempting to paint a horrible picture of him for the jury, and for the world. JD has been open about his addiction issues for YEARS. Being an addict doesn't mean someone is abusive, but they're grasping at straws....especially since they got A's psychological evaluation. That closed the case.
As you are probably figuring out......it doesn't. If this trial was in 1980, people would judge him based on that alone and "convict" him. However, in 2022, most everyone has had an addict in their family or as a friend. Just because someone is addicted to drugs, doesn't mean that they are a bad person. It means they have a monkey on their back. It CAN, but doesn't necessarily mean that it changes WHO they are. It's obvious that Johnny is still who he has always been. I watched the video where Heard had recorded him pouring that big glass of wine while she was picking a fight with him. She wanted to argue and his way to inflict pain was to pour that big glass of wine. He would rather hurt himself than hurt someone else. That video said A LOT to me.
His personal transgressions have nothing to do with the case. As it’s been made clear in law; retaliatory accusations are not used in defining outcomes with verdicts and so on. As for just accusing him, this become the burden of the accusers, to provide evidence.

Just a Recap here: Johnny is suing her because she claimed he beat her and was abusive. So, why are we bringing up his drinking and drug use? He never denied that. So why are we still stuck on it?

Once the police officers stated that AH showed no sign of physical injuries after they were called to the apartment it blew a huge hole in her defense. So all her lawyers can do now try and pound into the jury that JD was out of control.

However, after having had toxic family members, and abusive relationships, I can just tell that Johnny is a down to earth, gentle soul, and Amber gives off scary vibes. Your gut tells you. It's interesting, there's actually psychology behind how the body can tell you if a person is bad, and how you should trust your gut over your brain, as your mind will sometimes try to rationalize things, but your body gives you signs, due to past traumas you have experienced. Doctor Ramani on RUclips is amazing with explaining this in one of her videos. I highly recommend checking out her channel. It's been super healing to me and educational. And I hope and pray Johnny gets the healing he deserves. 💜🙏🏻

Every single question he’s asked or evidence presented shows him trying to “escape “ her. Get away from the situation. Do these lawyers truly have no idea how a real abuser acts? They act like amber. And force you to fight it out. Not get away to cool off and clear your head.

If I was on this jury, the main thing I would take from this is how proud the defense attorney is that he is reading these “terrible” texts from JD. Out of context and isolated into small groups texts and emails can make anyone look bad, but that doesn’t make them an abuser.

This attorney is talking over Johnny Depp regularly . He is rushing and haranguing him. He’s not allowing him to speak. There is always a context. Asking for “yes” or “no” responses is a form of bullying. Just because one is drunk , does not automatically imply one is violent. Justice for Johnny.
That's very common for cross-examinations. The attorneys each tell a story that favors their client, and have people testify to confirm the facts that support that story. The witness bringing in other information means the jury's attention strays away from the point the attorney is trying to make. It's a horrible thing to experience as someone reliving trauma, but technically the lawyer isn't doing anything out-of-line.
The things you say in a text message when your messed up and in the middle of your addiction does not mean you take physical violent action against others. It means you’re inside you self hurting and reaching out for help. JUSTICE FOR JOHNNY ❤️❤️

I hope Johnny wins every single penny he sues for and then some. Blackouts and being drugged out while a drug addict are very different and we have extremely high tolerances.. this can’t be explained only felt. I am surprised by the comments on here that expressed the opinion that because he had drug addiction issues etc. that his career is over. I have a three word answer for that: Robert Downey Jr.. If there’s one thing Hollywood loves it’s a great comeback story. Many folks seem to be rooting for him. It will be fascinating to see how this plays out. Johnny is totally growing on me. I’ve seen a few of his movies and don’t care who actors are or their thoughts on anything, usually seem like a joke. At first I thought he was stoned but now think he’s just eccentric, as many rich people are and as an actor think he’s caught up into being larger than life at times. These lawyers have nothing but baseless assertions and the accusations of his ex who seems like a snake. They keep pushing he is an addict and he keeps admitting it. All other women have said what a great guy he is. He seems like he can be an angry drunk at times but nothing has shown him as a women beater. I’m liking him more and more. He’s actually quite funny throughout the parts of the trial I’ve seen.
He has ADHD and Bipolar level 1. Those along with possible long term effects of alcohol during his childhood and adulthood can alter cognitive processing speed and verbalization. He is still absolutely not guilty, and a good person. I believe the drugs and alcohol were self medicating his conditions. Not a great way to cope, but understandable.

Also, in all of the photos she took of her alleged injuries, she never took photos of her supposed cut up feet from slipping on glass from JD allegedly throwing her around and only provided one of some small scars on her arm that looked self inflicted.

And people wonder why heroin has gotten out of control in this country. Thankfully I never turned to that but I spent so much money on pills that my condo could probably be paid off and I beat myself up about that every day. I go to an addiction specialist every 2 months and do a video visit between those. In July it will be 4 years and I’ve had such a weight lifted off my shoulders. But you literally feel like you’re going to die during the process.

Mr. Depp has been completely open and honest about his addictions, takes ownership of them, and explains how badly he struggles with them. This information humanizes him and shows that he is a good human being with demons just like the rest of us. I can't stand how that lawyer is trying to really paint a negative picture of him and is trying to get him to slip up to make him look bad. I know that it's his job, but it's not morally right in my opinion. After this ridiculous lawsuit is over, I hope Mr. Depp gets the help he needs, and I TRULY wish and hope for his success in every aspect of his life. It's not really a cheap tactic. The amount of memory damage suffered by Depp often makes it difficult to obtain clear and concise responses to direct questions.

So the defense is trying to prove that he's an alcoholic junkie, if he is how does that prove that he was abusive to her? There is absolutely no proof to say that he was, the defense knows they have nothing. I'm wondering how they're gonna link the two, because at this point it seems like there are two cases here.
Good catch! That is exactly right. He might have an alcohol problem, drug problem, etc. but that doesn't automatically make him an abuser. He might have had fits of rage but not directly towards her verbally and maybe not even physically. I do believe they physically fought each other but it was more Johnny defending himself than him seeking to hurt Amber. She's the one instigating and provoking most of their fights anyway. She's the real abuser and bully in my opinion. She took advantage of this man's state and that's what toxic people do. She's a toxic human being with severe mental issues that need to be immediately addressed before they get any worse. She could go criminal fairly quickly.
A's legal team constantly brings up his addiction issues because they have nothing else. They are attempting to paint a horrible picture of him for the jury, and for the world. JD has been open about his addiction issues for YEARS. Being an addict doesn't mean someone is abusive, but they're grasping at straws....especially since they got A's psychological evaluation. That closed the case.
As you are probably figuring out......it doesn't. If this trial was in 1980, people would judge him based on that alone and "convict" him. However, in 2022, most everyone has had an addict in their family or as a friend. Just because someone is addicted to drugs, doesn't mean that they are a bad person. It means they have a monkey on their back. It CAN, but doesn't necessarily mean that it changes WHO they are. It's obvious that Johnny is still who he has always been. I watched the video where Heard had recorded him pouring that big glass of wine while she was picking a fight with him. She wanted to argue and his way to inflict pain was to pour that big glass of wine. He would rather hurt himself than hurt someone else. That video said A LOT to me.
His personal transgressions have nothing to do with the case. As it’s been made clear in law; retaliatory accusations are not used in defining outcomes with verdicts and so on. As for just accusing him, this become the burden of the accusers, to provide evidence.

However, after having had toxic family members, and abusive relationships, I can just tell that Johnny is a down to earth, gentle soul, and Amber gives off scary vibes. Your gut tells you. It's interesting, there's actually psychology behind how the body can tell you if a person is bad, and how you should trust your gut over your brain, as your mind will sometimes try to rationalize things, but your body gives you signs, due to past traumas you have experienced. Doctor Ramani on RUclips is amazing with explaining this in one of her videos. I highly recommend checking out her channel. It's been super healing to me and educational. And I hope and pray Johnny gets the healing he deserves. 💜🙏🏻

If I was on this jury, the main thing I would take from this is how proud the defense attorney is that he is reading these “terrible” texts from JD. Out of context and isolated into small groups texts and emails can make anyone look bad, but that doesn’t make them an abuser.

This attorney is talking over Johnny Depp regularly . He is rushing and haranguing him. He’s not allowing him to speak. There is always a context. Asking for “yes” or “no” responses is a form of bullying. Just because one is drunk , does not automatically imply one is violent. Justice for Johnny.
That's very common for cross-examinations. The attorneys each tell a story that favors their client, and have people testify to confirm the facts that support that story. The witness bringing in other information means the jury's attention strays away from the point the attorney is trying to make. It's a horrible thing to experience as someone reliving trauma, but technically the lawyer isn't doing anything out-of-line.
This is not bullying, this is a proper cross-examination. Depp had an opportunity to explain his context while he was examined by his lawyer.

I hope Johnny wins every single penny he sues for and then some. Even if he walks away with no money, the truth is coming out, and that’s why he fought so hard for this to be televised AGAINST ambers every single attempt to keep this trial private. I can feel he genuinely doesn’t remember certain things but also remembers.. it’s very hard to explain that state of mind if you’re not an addict. He’s not lying. Blackouts and being drugged out while a drug addict are very different and we have extremely high tolerances.. this can’t be explained only felt. Any addicts in recovery or not understand depp and what he is trying to convey. I respect him for his transparency trying to answer honestly under oath.
Side note: i pray no one ever has to feel or go through addiction. It’s ugly, shameful, and not fun for us at all. It is very painful, but anyone reading this in recovery or trying to come out the other side; it is possible and do not let this lawyer or anyone ever make you feel less human because you have an illness that is NOT your fault. Amber has done more damage to herself than she has to Johnny, really. First, nobody believes he beat her. Second, many people may have even more love for Johnny now. It takes an incredible amount of courage to talk openly about addiction.
I am surprised by the comments on here that expressed the opinion that because he had drug addiction issues etc. that his career is over. I have a three word answer for that: Robert Downey Jr.. If there’s one thing Hollywood loves it’s a great comeback story. Many folks seem to be rooting for him. It will be fascinating to see how this plays out. Personally I believe that good triumphs over evil.

Johnny is totally growing on me. I’ve seen a few of his movies and don’t care who actors are or their thoughts on anything, usually seem like a joke. At first I thought he was stoned but now think he’s just eccentric, as many rich people are and as an actor think he’s caught up into being larger than life at times. These lawyers have nothing but baseless assertions and the accusations of his ex who seems like a snake. They keep pushing he is an addict and he keeps admitting it. All other women have said what a great guy he is. He seems like he can be an angry drunk at times but nothing has shown him as a women beater. I’m liking him more and more. He has ADHD and Bipolar level 1. Those along with possible long term effects of alcohol during his childhood and adulthood can alter cognitive processing speed and verbalization. He is still absolutely not guilty, and a good person. I believe the drugs and alcohol were self medicating his conditions. Not a great way to cope, but understandable.
