We just did it actually as I was so lazy. We opened the door and stood on a ladder. It has held up brilliantly, you'd never know they were painted. Same with my windows which I also painted. There is a video on this also. The paint is listed in the highlighted comment.
how did you paint the edges of the door that are hidden behind the frame or weather stripping, when your door is opening can you see the unpainted edges?
I saw another video from someone else and hey use a form mini roller and then go over with the brush! first you paint the inner cubes then the outside corners etc...

I really want to do this, Im jus scared of Peeling I've so many people paint then it peels and looks so bad! My doors face Sun almost all day so it gets pretty hot.
I haven't had any issues, it looks as good today as it did when I painted it. Once you use good quality paint you should be fine. I also did my windows and they look great.

Ho Victor, it is water based and no brush stokes. You cannot tell it was painted, the finish is amazing. What country do you live in? I'm in Canada and Sherwin Williams sell the paint I used. I also did my windows and front door, they look amazing.
@@GrawnyasHomeandKitchen Hi; Im from Puerto Rico, the weather here is so different as yours. The heat here is very high and damage the paint (fade it) very fast. Flat finish used to last more than semi-gloss finish. We have sherwin Williams here too, so I can check it. Looks great!, thanks.

They should be able to match it as it is one of their colours. I used Sherwin Williams paint but home depot do very good paints also.

We actually only painted recently as I was lazy. We did it with the door open, we.stood on a ladder.

It's amazing, still as good as the day I did it. It will be 2 years this year.

Did you paint the weather strip as well? I read that the door can get stuck if weather strippings are painted.
I painted everything and it'd been over 2 years and it's still great. Just leave the door open until it dries.

Good to know but this paint was self leveling so it turned out perfectly. A roller would have been faster though.😁
