How is that possible when stage 1 starts with a receding hairline? Anyway my pattern isn’t here . I think you can lose hair at the crown and have ull hairlines. I don’t think there are any particular stages. You can start balding anywhere on your head.
@@Orlanzepol123 stage 1 is actually no recession stage two is considered normal as in alot of people never progress past it and three is clinically significant.

Genetics is the most important factor for male hairline. Most men go bald, statistically it pairs well with age i.e. 50% of men are bald by 50 and so on. What's interesting about male pattern baldness is that Native Americans with ancestry from the North of America are not at all affected by it, must have no male pattern hair loss in a closed off gene pool. I’m 21 going on 22. I Got a real short buzzed haircut recently and noticed my hairline was further in than it used to be. I’m not surprised if I start balding in the next year or so. My dad lost a lot of his hair at my age. Genetics I’m afraid.
Ah man. Thank god. I thought I was losing my hair. But the front of my head is not receding at all. Im at Stage 1 but I thought I was seeing a bald spot in the back of my head. But I think my hair is just brushed weird. Because when Robin was showing what balding in the back looks like and he tilted his head. I had a spot that looks similar to his. And Robin hair is fantastic. So I think I'll be okay. At least for a few more years 😬
My uncle and grandfather on my mothers side got to stage 4 in their early/mid 30s and then their hair loss stopped almost completely, which should not be possible according to google... I recently saw my uncle (55) and his hair looks exactly the same as when he was 35... no transplants, no pills...
Stage 2 isn’t necessarily balding it’s a mature hairline. Stage 3 is really the beginning of hair loss. It’s natural for the hairline to recede a little bit it means you’re no longer a child.
In most cases male pattern baldness starts with the temples going back (atleast according to the Norwood scale), but where I live, I've seen many people with a perfect hairline and a big noticeable bald spot on the crown.

Never did any treatments and I’m completely content at where I am for my age. With the right cut and style it’s nothing being my age and I saved all that money, time, and possible side effects. Just monitor you progression and treat if necessary.
My hairline completely grew back on its own a year later after I treated my seborrheic dermatitis. Thats how I knew not every case of hair loss is permanent
Sooper Dooshy I think I’ve got this condition, I’ve got one hell of an itchy scalp, tried anti dandruff shampoo and it doesn’t work. I have hair fall and a slight receding hairline. Does treating this cause the hairline to definitely grow back ?

I'm 19. My hairline is pretty much still perfect but my crown has experienced loss. but then the hair on my crown keeps growing back and shedding again on a monthly basis. how is this even possible?
Definitely wonder which way I'm gonna go. My grandfather on my mom's has a full head of hair, and so does my mom, while my grandfather's on my father's side is bald on top, but has hair on the sides and back. I do believe my father has a receding hairline, but isn't bald. I believe I'm on stage 2, or maybe in between 2 and 3. No hair loss on my crown, but I have had some loss at my temples since about 15 years ago, giving my hairline more of an m shape, but nothing else as far as I can tell.
I’m 34 and have been at stage 4 since 19, I’m actually having a hair system (wig) fitted in a week, it usually costs around £700 but I won it in a competition. People joke about horrendous looking wigs that some old men wear but these new ones actually look really good, they blend it in with your own hair, they shave your head so you have the horseshoe shape hair left and stick the wig on your head with semi permanent glue.
I would respectfully say Robin does not have perfect hair like Joseph Andrews does from Bluuman. However, he has good hair which he really takes care of and does put the time in it to treat and style it. Thus why it always looks so good
i would agree that robin has all of his hair, but that doesnt mean that his steps to having a fuller/thicker style can't be effective to someone with a little hair loss.
Totally unrelated to the video. But I'm looking for a good am and pm moisturiser as well as a cleanser but being in the UK I'm having trouble deciding what to get. Just starting to look after myself. Thank you in advance.
I think hairloss is so weird. We have hair to insulate our head from freezing and getting exposed to the sun, so you could say hairloss is biologically bad. But we evolved from monkeys basically so loosing hair is one of our features due to evolution... It's kind of an oxymoron. Or contradicting?
Really on the fence with finasteride... The sides are putting me off, but also that my hairline is solid, my hair is just REALLY thin and I'm not even sure if it'll help because of this
Been on finasteride (1mg per day) for 6months and absolutely no sides at all. Im at stage 2, with slight recession at the temples and slight thinning at the very front. Hair loss has stopped, dht related acne has stopped and if anything, my erections are even better (the most highlighted side being impotence), so i'd say give it a go. I'm 38
hey Robin... i’m 53 and starting to show a lot more scalp than i’m comfortable with, i realize i’ve been lucky till now but i’m wondering if there is anything different an older guy should be aware of as opposed to someone dealing with a premature hair loss situation..?

Never did any treatments and I’m completely content at where I am for my age. With the right cut and style it’s nothing being my age and I saved all that money, time, and possible side effects. Just monitor you progression and treat if necessary.
My hairline completely grew back on its own a year later after I treated my seborrheic dermatitis. Thats how I knew not every case of hair loss is permanent
What did u use to clear up your seborrheic dermatitis?
how did you do it?
How did you do it bro .?i suffer seborrhic dermatitis 7 years dude i lost half of my hair
Sayd Omar Geran dramatic doesn’t cause hair loss it grows back
Sooper Dooshy I think I’ve got this condition, I’ve got one hell of an itchy scalp, tried anti dandruff shampoo and it doesn’t work. I have hair fall and a slight receding hairline. Does treating this cause the hairline to definitely grow back ?
I'm 13 and my hairs already really thin I can see my scalp just like my older brother
Im 17 dude just cut it off go bald
My friend go tell it to your parrents
very useful video dear Robin thank you very much .
You are very welcome, Nader.

Once hair loss started, do we all eventually become bald (last stage)???
Starting losing my hair in high school, football team called me egg head.
Great topic Robin,
Keep up the great content 🙌🏼
I think I'm around a 1, but many people call no hair loss a NW0.
We all boy should shave the head at men's day to support each other ❤️
I'm 19 years olds, is it normal that I'm about to reach stage 3? I hate going bald
hmmm interesting n informative video, nice one robin
I will remain at stage 1 for the next 30 years hopefully....Because I don't have Baldness in my close maternal paternal family.
I’ve been at stage 2 since 20, I’m 25 now and hopefully I don’t loose more, my dad is also a 2 but he didn’t get his until he was 50, what’s up with that
Bro literally me rn
Same here also.
Thank you Robin, very cool!
20 and stage 2 i started hair loss in 19 and now i think my hair is so thin😢😢
How your hair now
No matter which scale is used when the Doctor says u r in 5/5a and 6 and the Transplant will cost XYZ.... Then we have no choice
VERY good video
Do you still stand by Nioxin?
Silent Stag yea
Hey Robin, i'm off topic but have you ever thought about making a video on white hair? I'm 20 and in the past 6 months I've noticed an increasing number of white hair... Nothing worrying or extremely visible but I can't figure out what the cause could be
JK. But my uncle was 25 when he turned grey. Now he is 57 and still has lots and lots of hair. Just all white. Women seem to love it though.
I'm not tolerating this baldness or genetics I'm stopping it
@Wahid Choudhury dang I forgot about this comment but I'm just saying I maintain my hair everyday with my daily routine. If anything Ive taken care of my hair to its full extent. There isn't nothing wrong with my hair it just ended up in my recommended.
@Wahid Choudhury oh to answer your question though all you gotta say is "STOP IT" in the mirror and Bam!
You are no longer balding
I like your hair and I subscribed😍
I’m stage 1 but my hair is thinning? What does this mean?!??
Hi Robin, are you still using nioxin or are you using this shampoo now?
Hi Robin, nice video! I'm 15 and I have a lot of baby hairs on my hairline. How can I get rid of them or maybe a lot of them? They never grow and always stay at like ~1 inch of length and they ruin my hairstyle. Any tips or suggestions? Thanks!
Atilio get it trimmed everytime you take a haircut ....that's all you can do
being at stage 4 at age 24 sucks.. i have shaved my head twice and i simply dont like it...
MPB has no mercy got me at 17 😞
Same here bro im 17 years old and I am losing some hair and my hair is thinning its very sad:( I'm thinking of shaving my head bold already.
@@luismartinez7804 I am 17 and stage 2😭
How are your hairs now I'm losing hairs at 16 or almost 17
I'm 26 years old and now I'm at stage 2.. should I go for a hair transplant for a better hair line.. please suggest . Thanks 🙏
No it continues to bald best to do it at stage 3 or 4
I am late to this video but I do have some questions. I think I am on stage 3 hair loss now, what’s the best thing I could do to stop it turning worse? Hair transplants? Please help
my hair is not receding, its just breaking, at some point it was really full and in about 2 weeks it has reduced by almost half from all over is this baldness and should i be worried. again no receding just breaking
I’m a stage 3 heading slowly to a stage 4 thinning really bad from the crown I started finasteride at 0.5mg a day a month ago hopefully will start working after 4 months
U need 1mg.
Hope u recover
Educative!
I’m only 21 and am already on stage 4-5 :(
eViL RumPy Yikes! Sorry dude.
@@bletrick3352 not necessarily yikes, there's always something that can be done. Definitely would recommend shaving it ALL off and maybe getting hair tattooed on the scalp
How your hair now
I'm 19. My hairline is pretty much still perfect but my crown has experienced loss.
but then the hair on my crown keeps growing back and shedding again on a monthly basis. how is this even possible?
Same bro what have you done to try to fix it
Robin, Ive started nioxin but recently they changed their formulation could you please cover it? most people don't seem to like it
My husband does not have a receding hairline, but his hair is getting thinner and thinner. Why would this be? It’s not these stages discussed. Helena
it's a different kind of balding called diffuse thinning unfortunately
How your hair now
I hate being bald.
How are your hairs now?
I’m 34 and have been at stage 4 since 19, I’m actually having a hair system (wig) fitted in a week, it usually costs around £700 but I won it in a competition. People joke about horrendous looking wigs that some old men wear but these new ones actually look really good, they blend it in with your own hair, they shave your head so you have the horseshoe shape hair left and stick the wig on your head with semi permanent glue.
Very smart sales ad.......
im 18, and my hair at stage 2 smh.. i hope this UK product can help me
Dude, I was born with "stage 2", as did many of my friends, stage 2 can be stage 1 for some people
love your video!! fan from India..
Thank you. Love right back.

Have perfect hair(like your)
I would respectfully say Robin does not have perfect hair like Joseph Andrews does from Bluuman.
I don't fit into any of these, my hair just started thinning all other the top of my head
That’s called Diffuse thinning. It’s fairly common
In that case are you still going to bald?
How are u now bro
Whose hair genes i carry ,from my mom or from my father?
Both
I think hairloss is so weird.
I m moving to stage 2
I just attached my hair one day and noticed I had a bigger forehead than usual
Is it ok to lose little hair on your sides? What does that mean
video starts at 1:37
Welp I am 14 and I have noticed that my crown part looks weird and I am pretty worried
I’m a teenager as young as 16 I feel like I’m having hair loss like every time I shower I lose like a few strands of hair, however no receding hairline, thanks for the video though and will look into those products! 😁
Same and I'm 15. I also have a lot of baby hairs on my hairline for some reason... I don't know how I can get rid of them, they're the only thing I hate about my hair 😭😒
Try not to panic. We all lose around 100 hairs a day. It's natural.
Dont worry you're only young and people loose hair on a daily basis as it's hair going through it's phases so you can expect a bit of of hair fall in the shower.
dude im not fitting in any of these stages, but i swear im going bald😵
Anyone used this Phl stuff? Can't find any reviews except on there own site.
Stage 1 and im 25 and and still very thick and very strong cause i have noticed my relatives starts receeds at age 40s or 50s
my hair started thinning at the crown and don't
know how to stop it
Hairmax laser comb at least and Propecia as next step if needed.
I'm so scared and I stopped watching video at stage 3 .. and I think I'm in 2nd stage 😞
What do you guys think about starting with minoxidil (5%) in a norwood scale 1? will it help?
what's the best pomade that don't damage your hair (shine and matte)
Do you have a video for hairstyles for thin hair?
Hi Robin I always worried about hair loss as my father went bald since he was only 19. Luckily I am 26 and still have a good head of hair and always looking for a receding hairline
The genes for hair loss come from your mother, not your father. If your mom has a brother, than he's a good indication of what you can usually expect for your hair.
@@Commander6444 my mother has a brother(my uncle) and he still has perfect non receeded hairline and he is 38.What does this mean to me?Does this mean I will start losing hair early or late?(im 12 btw)
@@lukajakob614 There are no certainties, but you're more than likely going to have your hair for quite a while also. And at any rate, you're 12. People at your age should be worrying about doing well in school, not hair loss. :)
@@Commander6444 exactly! Thanks for all your help

Mine was pretty bad on a very early age so i just doubled down and decided to go bald. I embraced it and it really isnt any worse than full hair. It has other pros and cons but it really doesnt look worse but you gotta know when to give up
How your hair now
how to distinguish between hereditary baldness and normal baldness ?????
20 with some thick ass hair but a Norwood 2 hairline. It bothers me a lot ngl
18 with thin hair, norwood 1 hairline. It bothers me a lot ngl
Can you regrow plucked hair back? thanks
Good stuff, I'm 37, and I don't see any hair loss, yet, I don't have that stage where I have a widows peak or the V, or M shape, I actually shave my head everyday as I'm very OCD and hate hair, and I always said I wish I was bald already, cause shaving can be annoying, but after seeing the later stages, man, I'm glad, my Dad had a great set of hair, even when he passed at 70, he still have a full head of hair, I'm thinking it's due to my Dad that I haven't seen any balding that I can notice.
Stage -2 22 years from India✋
Bro, I'm also stage 2 & age 23.
I’m 18, and personally I’d say I’m at stage 3. What should I do? :(
Go to r/tressless on Reddit and see some of the things there also look around on youtube
Massage the part that is not hitting the pillow.
Stage 3-4 at 24 yo also using Nioxin
Can you review Mint Clay, its a pretty new company, but haven’t heard many reviews yet!
