Trust me, I'm 19 with fine hair and a receding hair line, love it, although it doesnt feel like it your hair can be just as if not more versatile than thick hair!
Yahir Garcia same here. Been trying to use oil removing shampoo. I have some head and shoulders oil control. It works well. But then I use L'Oréal extraordinary Oil conditioner. It's supposed to give healthy oils to your hair. I just started this like 2 weeks ago. I don't know if I'm defeating the purpose of the oil control shampoo. Also I bought some L'Oréal Extraordinary Clay spray dry shampoo. Lol seemed like a good idea. I dunno.
omg man u dont realize, I've been watching your vids for quite a while now and wished that u would make a vid for fine hair, becuz I have it and I've been struggling so thank you mann
I love robin, he's so damn funny especially when he rants, "I've had so many people saying, robin you're balding, robin I can see your scalp, robin you're going bald!" LMFAO he's got a thick head of hair xD
I was like that too but then i cut my hair and was bald haha so i could getting rid of that oily hair , now i can easily don’t wash my hair for one week but i feel my scalp is having some errors 🤣 because it doesn’t produce oil anymore that much
Oh my god! This is what I'm trying to explain to people who says that my hair is thinning and getting bald. Truth is I've got fine hair and Robin you just explained it so so crystal clear. Amazing video and you really deserve more than just 80,000 subscribers ❤✌
Robin you said absolutely correct. I also have fine hairs(Actually it's not that fine and not that thick). Whenever I wet my hairs my brother tells me that I look bald or I'm loosing hairs and sometimes I also used to feel same way but thanks to your vid I knw what's going on..!! And yeah you are absolutely correct about the products Mousse works absolutely good for me it do plum my hairs..!! Gained some knowledge about my type of hair's today. 👍😛
Yep... perhaps. I have the basic Nordic European person's blonde hair, like dark blonde/brown blonde. Hard to describe it. Its like brown sand-road colour but blonde. It has gotten darker with age thankfully so its not blonde only anymore... Anyway Yeah I have fine hair and also light colour, not very dark. Fine hair is annoying. But my hair is healthy at least. But, It's hard to get it to stay in shapes and such. I'll try a short haircut. buzzcut somewhat
I'm getting so mad because of my haircut, I have an undercut with medium-long hair on top, it's so annoying to style as it falls forward instead of laying backwards, and the Wax I use doesn't hold the hair at all, the wax stops working after an hours and sometimes even less
Thank you for this video! I've been doing the exact opposite of everything you said through most of my years growing up and my hair looks absolutely terrible. Hopefully I can start to have fuller-looking hair after this :)
Robin, thanks for the tips for men with fine hair. Much appreciated. I have fine hair. I'll go with the mousse and hairspray for my hair. Yes, I'm telling my barber NOT to use thinning scissors. I wash my hair every day but I'll try skipping a day. I'll look of a good thickening tonic. Keep your great videos coming.
Doing something so simple as using conditioner for the first time in my life has already gotten comments that my hair looks fuller. Gonna try out a thickening shampoo and thickening tonic recommended in one of your other videos. Thanks for the tips!
Great Video as usual, Robin. My hair is quite similar to yours in terms of density and texture but I do have a bigger forehead. I do agree with most things you say, here. However, I believe when it comes to undercut like haircuts leaving the hair too long on top isn’t the best idea for fine haired men like you and I. My hair used to be up to six inches long on top and while I could still make it look quite presentable, it took a lot of products and effort. Keeping my hair no longer than three inches on top gives an appearance of a thicker ‘do without taking much away from the hairstyle itself. Anyhow, keep up the good work man.
Thanks for giving props to fine hair, and for differentiating between fine and thinning hair - they ARE truly different! Unfortunately, I have both!! LOL!!!
You mean it looks full. He tries to address the fact his hair texture is thin, it's not that his hair density is low. I hope this makes sense to you know, understanding the difference between the two is crucial to finding the right solution for you.
Thanks so much bro I've learned so much because unlike every other Asian guy with thick hair I have fine hair and I've always tried to recreate their styles but find myself failing, but I finally understand why and what I could do differently.
I’m 26 and only now I’ve learned only the basics... I always wanted a long hair but couldn’t manage to sort them out every day. But with this kinda like a guide I’m ready for my next barber visit!
any updates? did you change your hairstyle? did you regret? cuz im exactly 26 now aswell and ive always wanted and want long hair, and im scared to change to a shorter haircut.
Im an asian with oval-long face and thin hair- so thin and lightweight I got a lot of my female friend envy my hair. However I cant style it without it giving up the second I left my mirror. I’ve been trying lot’s of barbers and hairdresser to do my hair and get no different outcome. I might just give up at this point lol...
hi robin! my hair is fine and pretty flat for the most part. the problem is i have a hard time trying to get my hair to stay up. usually after like an hour or so my hair starts fall. any products you have in mind? using hairspray doesnt seem to help that much either!
Thank you kindly. Working towards "short hair" and trying to get a suitable style has been such a pain... but better understanding some of the detail with super fine hair and how to give the appearance of volume will help a lot! ESPECIALLY knowing I really should be telling them to bug off with deh thinning scissors. . .
Great video as always Robin ... You have a great grasp of mens grooming and have loads of great suggestions. I do try to follow some of the styles that I think will suit me and they turn out brilliantly ... My hair is still not as long as I would like it (even though It goes in my mouth ... I am growing it out as you know and you are right practice does make perfect ... For you guys watching Robin take notice and do some of the styles that suit you and if you follow one step at a time, your hair will look as good as Robins ... Thanx for all your tips Robin and as always keep up the good work.
My boyfriend has fine straight hair and hates it and has no clue what to do with it, I couldn't help him very much since I myself have thick curly hair and didn't know how to but these types of vids are helping a lot
Hey Robin great vid finally someone who knows the difference between fine and thinning (balding). I have always had thin hair I dont add product because it weighs down the hair. just some antistatic spray on brush, quick blow dry and a squirt or two of hairspray.
Ok i think a barber used thinning scizzors so is my hair ruined or when it grows back it will be normal. My hair was really long like 8 inches and this barber pulled oit scizzors at first i was like this is new and now i can see my scalp. Please any info
I've been using moose, washing with cold water, and using warm/cold setting on my hair dryer for a while. I always thought I was doing it wrong! Glad to know I wasn't, phew! Still - you had some useful tips I didnt know. Thanks!!
Hm I never do this, but I'm gonna sub to this channel right away! Seems like he actually know how to deal with fine hair, and the quality and editing on the video is amazing! Don't like his boring hairstyle tough
Robin! This is a wonderful tip from me that I use quiet often. I use the got2b as a post styler because it doesn't make my hair hard, but it acts like a hair spray keeping my hair in place the whole day! But a little hair spat didn't hurt just to further locking in your hair.
Can simeone tell me what hair type i have???? because i dont know so i have the following: my hair is THIN my hair is NATURALY SOFT my hair is 2-3 INCHES
Love these videos, I always thought i just "didn't have the right hair" but I'm realizing I just needed better guidance on what to use and how to style it
Good video. Unfortunately my hair is fine but thinning now too. I have to wash it every day, otherwise it look greasy and flat. I'll try the thickening solution you've recommended. Thanks
Never did think about how much a hot shower messes with my hair. Man, as someone who hates the cold bitterly, this is gonna suck to get used to. For the sake of my hair though! *Freezes in the cold*
Bro I shower with reaaally hot water for years and when I was 13 I noticed thin fine hair especially on the top and more thicker on the sides gonna start washing my hair with cold water :) thanks for the tips
Also I don't know about the not washing hair thing. When I wash my hair it looks fuller and more volumized. When it's unwashed my hair gets piecey, less thick and I can see my scalp more.
Just found your channel by this video, and although I work mainly with sneakers, fashion and hair is something that my audience loves as well. So coming across a good quality video like this definitely makes me want to subscribe... Good job. 👍🏼
Fine hair+Receding hairline+high forehead. I've hit the jackpot bois
Yeah, I do have receeding and fine hair, but I was also blessed with a high forehead aka a fivehead.
Ke G : How's that a jackpot? I'm embarrassed about it 😭
due to which i gets bad haircuts from barbers.
sarcasm
bruh fine hair+receding hairline+high forehead+low volume...
for real damn 😭😭😭
I hate having fine hair. Everyone thinks im losing hair because of how fine it is and im 15
BeysGamez I feel you smh
BeysGamez same bro but 17 lol
Trust me, I'm 19 with fine hair and a receding hair line, love it, although it doesnt feel like it your hair can be just as if not more versatile than thick hair!
Josh Edwards it's waaaay too versatile it flops down all the time and you can't really style it
Asburt then you're not doing it right
The problem I have with not showering is when I don't shower, my hair gets really oily even if I just water it down, so I kind of have to use shampoo
Paris M That happens to me too
Yahir Garcia same here. Been trying to use oil removing shampoo. I have some head and shoulders oil control. It works well. But then I use L'Oréal extraordinary Oil conditioner. Paris M for me idk for me I like oily hair cause it just looks good in my opinion especially if u have a comb over with good volume it looks perfect 👌
Paris M same
Bruh. Use dry shampoo
Thought I'd surprise you with an extra video.
Where my fine haired guys at?
always here (;
ayy
Here we are
omg man u dont realize, I've been watching your vids for quite a while now and wished that u would make a vid for fine hair, becuz I have it and I've been struggling so thank you mann
sup fam
Mousse really is the best product for fine hair. I use mousse with Argan oil which makes my hair look naturally thick.
For big volume, it's mousse is amazing!
I’ve been using Reuzel grooming tonic and it works better then moose.
Try having fine and curly hair. My fine hair clumps together in a few curls and you can easily see my scalp.
who said you're balding? are they blind?
Ive had it a lot. Haters gonna hate!
Great video. I once had a barber tell me I was balding!
I love robin, he's so damn funny especially when he rants, "I've had so many people saying, robin you're balding, robin I can see your scalp, robin you're going bald!" LMFAO he's got a thick head of hair xD
Well his temples are receding
Look up an adult hairline.
If I don't wash my hair every single day it looks like a greasy mess, and you can see right down to my scalp.. :/
Me too and I get dandruff very easily
Bro same! My friends make fun of me
I hate that omg
I was like that too but then i cut my hair and was bald haha so i could getting rid of that oily hair , now i can easily don’t wash my hair for one week but i feel my scalp is having some errors 🤣 because it doesn’t produce oil anymore that much

Ah, this is good, Rishi!
I feel like having a lighter hair color with fine hair makes it appear even worse if not taken care of properly, would you agree?
Yeah I do I have fine hair and light hair😭
Same
Yep... perhaps. I have the basic Nordic European person's blonde hair, like dark blonde/brown blonde. Hard to describe it. Its like brown sand-road colour but blonde. It has gotten darker with age thankfully so its not blonde only anymore... Anyway

Idk if your hair is fine but if it is it may be because the wax is weighing down the hair. Waxes are heavy.
That's my exact problem
this guy made me feel good about my hair hahaha
From what i can see your hair looks perfect. It looks super good no homo.
@@victorslente2038 😆no homo here either!

I don’t have a receding hairline I just have insanely thin hair. One gust of wind and I’m rocking a cotton candy afro.

This is one of the most professional and most well edited channels I have come across

Thin indeed. Fine also!
Dry shampoo is also great for people with thin hair. Lately I've been using it alot after blow drying (before product goes in).
Totally! Really good for fine hair.
Is it ok to use hair gel on dry hair ? Not wet I mean second day ???
Unless you have super thick hair, honestly, don't use hair gel. Use a clay, pomade, putty or paste. You'll love it. But that is just my opinion
Robin! This is a wonderful tip from me that I use quiet often. I use the got2b as a post styler because it doesn't make my hair hard, but it acts like a hair spray keeping my hair in place the whole day! But a little hair spat didn't hurt just to further locking in your hair.

I just heard your voice and I felt a connection . I subscribed
Good video. Unfortunately my hair is fine but thinning now too. I have to wash it every day, otherwise it look greasy and flat. I'll try the thickening solution you've recommended. Thanks
I can't thank you enough, now I know the perfect way to take care of my hair :)
