    Nice video. Been a while since I've lived this life, at what point are dual needle and seats needed on e85? FWIW I have an old quick fuel blow through in a box somewhere you've inspired me to dust off... I've also got a 468bbc in pieces somewhere...

    • @tittan1500

      Depending on power you can do a BRPV or standard low vacuum

    Hello
    Great videos, i have a ls 6.0 on e85 blow through and i have the BRPV front and back and i am having issues with getting this carb right. It is lean on the big end (1/8th mile). Do you have a base e85 carb setup you can recommend? Thanks in advance...

    • @tittan1500
      @tittan1500  4 года назад +1

      jacob bell have you tried netting up in the secondary’s?
      Do that until you get your AFR then calculate the PVCR increase for the front power valve.
      Or adjust HSAB to make it pull more fuel.
      Once you get it where you want it, then look at squaring it up

  • @vinshanestrickland4179

    I take the base off tap the hole from the top and don't tap all the wY threw or do it to the carb body so when you put the carb base back on it can not fall out . Its in-between the base and body nowhere to go!

    Great info greatly appreciated, what power level do you think these diy mods are good for 8-900?

    • @tittan1500
      @tittan1500  2 года назад

      Yup for the average guy who’s not messing with booster and mainwell size
      If you have annular boosters and the passages are large enough you can crank some good numbers.

  • @codyjacobson5672

    do you recommend when running a single BRPV to run it on the primary or the secondary? automatic car with transbrake. Thanks in advance

      Adjust the jetting / bleeds / squirters , larger acc pumps and nitrile acc pumps .
      Possibly enlarge the main wells

    what is needed for a low boost 6psi setup?

    • @tittan1500
      @tittan1500  3 года назад +1

      Probably don’t need one for 6psi but that’s a loaded question. If your have a 600hp engine and put 6 psi on it your adding 200hp...... then I would say yes. If it’s a 350/400 hp motor your prob fine

      @tittan1500  3 года назад +1

      Hammer Head Garage it won’t stay at 6psi long so I would get it out of the way now. It makes tuning a lot easier and safer part throttle

    Im trying make a bone stock 5.0 explorer engine blow through
    I have a few questions
    Is 750 cfm too big carb?
    What jets you recommends for a good starting point?
    Brpv in secondary and a blocked in primary?
    I just want some fuel economy for daily use

    What's your opinion on blocking the main wells? I've seen that done either epoxy or plugs. For E85/methonal blow thru set up. What's the point of it?

    • @tittan1500
      @tittan1500  2 года назад

      Increases suction for the fuel pickup AJS you can move more fuel. Pro systems uses solid blocks and lot of guys plug the holes

      phonypony 5.0 gas over 1000 hp for sure.
      E85 with the big metal needles some say 700 wheel some make 900 wheel.
      I was always told 700 wheel so I ran duals. But I have a buddy running 8.30s on singles on e85.
      And for what it’s worth my old 632 made 937 wheel all motor e85 on singles..... you be the judge
